1To the Overseer with stringed instruments. — A Psalm of Asaph. — A Song. In Judah [is] God known, in Israel His name [is] great.
1ദൈവം യെഹൂദയില് പ്രസിദ്ധനാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാമം യിസ്രായേലില് വലിയതാകുന്നു.
2And His tabernacle is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion.
2അവന്റെ കൂടാരം ശാലേമിലും അവന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലം സീയോനിലും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
3There he hath shivered arrows of a bow, Shield, and sword, and battle. Selah.
3അവിടെവെച്ചു അവന് വില്ലിന്റെ മിന്നുന്ന അമ്പുകളും പരിചയും വാളും യുദ്ധവും തകര്ത്തുകളഞ്ഞു. സേലാ.
4Bright [art] Thou, honourable above hills of prey.
4ശാശ്വതപര്വ്വതങ്ങളെക്കാള് നീ തേജസ്സും മഹിമയും ഉള്ളവനാകുന്നു.
5Spoiled themselves have the mighty of heart, They have slept their sleep, And none of the men of might found their hands.
5ധൈര്യശാലികളെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു അവര് നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചു; പരാക്രമശാലികള്ക്കു ആര്ക്കും കൈക്കരുത്തില്ലാതെപോയി.
6From Thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse have been fast asleep.
6യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ശാസനയാല് തേരും കുതിരയും ഗാഢനിദ്രയില് വീണു.
7Thou, fearful [art] Thou, And who doth stand before Thee, Since Thou hast been angry!
7നീ ഭയങ്കരനാകുന്നു; നീ ഒന്നു കോപിച്ചാല് തിരുമുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്കാകുന്നവന് ആര്?
8From heaven Thou hast sounded judgment, Earth hath feared, and hath been still,
8സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു നീ വിധി കേള്പ്പിച്ചു; ഭൂമിയിലെ സാധുക്കളെയൊക്കെയും രക്ഷിപ്പാന്
9In the rising of God to judgment, To save all the humble of earth. Selah.
9ദൈവം ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റപ്പോള് ഭൂമി ഭയപ്പെട്ടു അമര്ന്നിരുന്നു. സേലാ.
10For the fierceness of man praiseth Thee, The remnant of fierceness Thou girdest on.
10മനുഷ്യന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും നിശ്ചയം; ക്രോധശിഷ്ടത്തെ നീ അരെക്കു കെട്ടിക്കൊള്ളും.
11Vow and complete to Jehovah your God, All ye surrounding him. They bring presents to the Fearful One.
11നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു നേരുകയും നിവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്വിന് ; അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരും ഭയങ്കരനായവന്നു കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ.
12He doth gather the spirit of leaders, Fearful to the kings of earth!
12അവന് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ പ്രാണനെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും അവന് ഭയങ്കരനാകുന്നു. സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; യെദൂഥൂന്യരാഗത്തില്; ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.
