1A Psalm of Asaph. O God, nations have come into Thy inheritance, They have defiled Thy holy temple, They made Jerusalem become heaps,
1ദൈവമേ, ജാതികള് നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിലേക്കു കടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും യെരൂശലേമിനെ കല്കുന്നുകളാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
2They gave the dead bodies of Thy servants Food for the fowls of the heavens, The flesh of Thy saints For the wild beast of the earth.
2അവര് നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികള്ക്കും നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ മാംസത്തെ കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കും ഇരയായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
3They have shed their blood As water round about Jerusalem, And there is none burying.
3അവരുടെ രക്തത്തെ വെള്ളംപോലെ അവര് യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചുറ്റും ചിന്തിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടുവാന് ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതുമില്ല.
4We have been a reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and a derision to our surrounders.
4ഞങ്ങള് ഞങ്ങളുടെ അയല്ക്കാര്ക്കും അപമാനവും ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവര്ക്കും നിന്ദയും പരിഹാസവും ആയി തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
5Till when, O Jehovah? art Thou angry for ever? Thy jealousy doth burn as fire.
5യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം കോപിക്കുന്നതും നിന്റെ തീക്ഷണത തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?
6Pour Thy fury on the nations who have not known Thee, And on kingdoms that have not called in Thy name.
6നിന്നെ അറിയാത്ത ജാതികളുടെമോലും നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കാത്ത രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെമേലും നിന്റെ ക്രോധത്തെ പകരേണമേ.
7For [one] hath devoured Jacob, And his habitation they have made desolate.
7അവര് യാക്കോബിനെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളകയും അവന്റെ പുല്പുറത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.
8Remember not for us the iniquities of forefathers, Haste, let Thy mercies go before us, For we have been very weak.
8ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്വ്വന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കണക്കിടരുതേ; നിന്റെ കരുണ വേഗത്തില് ഞങ്ങളെ എതിരേലക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങള് ഏറ്റവും എളിമപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
9Help us, O God of our salvation, Because of the honour of Thy name, And deliver us, and cover over our sins, For Thy name`s sake.
9ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയായ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നാമമഹത്വത്തിന്നായി ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം ഞങ്ങളെ വിടുവിച്ചു, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ പരിഹരിക്കേണമേ.
10Why do the nations say, `Where [is] their God?` Let be known among the nations before our eyes, The vengeance of the blood of Thy servants that is shed.
10അവരുടെ ദൈവം എവിടെ എന്നു ജാതികള് പറയുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ രക്തം ചിന്നിയതിന്റെ പ്രതികാരം ഞങ്ങള് കാണ്കെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് വെളിപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.
11Let the groaning of the prisoner come in before Thee, According to the greatness of Thine arm, Leave Thou the sons of death.
11ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ദീര്ഘശ്വാസം നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരുമാറാകട്ടെ; മരണത്തിന്നു വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നീ നിന്റെ മഹാശക്തിയാല് രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.
12And turn Thou back to our neighbours, Sevenfold unto their bosom, their reproach, Wherewith they reproached Thee, O Lord.
12കര്ത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ അയല്ക്കാര് നിന്നെ നിന്ദിച്ച നിന്ദയെ ഏഴിരട്ടിയായി അവരുടെ മാര്വ്വിടത്തിലേക്കു പകരം കൊടുക്കേണമേ.
13And we, Thy people, and the flock of Thy pasture, We give thanks to Thee to the age, To all generations we recount Thy praise!
