1A Song, — A Psalm of Asaph. O God, let there be no silence to Thee, Be not silent, nor be quiet, O God.
1ദൈവമേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായും സ്വസ്ഥമായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.
2For, lo, Thine enemies do roar, And those hating Thee have lifted up the head,
2ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് കലഹിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവര് തല ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു.
3Against Thy people they take crafty counsel, And consult against Thy hidden ones.
3അവര് നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉപായം വിചാരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഗുപ്തന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
4They have said, `Come, And we cut them off from [being] a nation, And the name of Israel is not remembered any more.`
4വരുവിന് , യിസ്രായേല് ഒരു ജാതിയായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നാം അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളക. അവരുടെ പേര് ഇനി ആരും ഔര്ക്കരുതു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.
5For they consulted in heart together, Against Thee a covenant they make,
5അവര് ഇങ്ങനെ ഐകമത്യത്തോടെ ആലോചിച്ചു, നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി സഖ്യത ചെയ്യുന്നു.
6Tents of Edom, and Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagarenes,
6ഏദോമ്യരുടെയും യിശ്മായേല്യരുടെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളും മോവാബ്യരും ഹഗര്യ്യരും കൂടെ,
7Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with inhabitants of Tyre,
7ഗെബാലും അമ്മോനും അമാലേക്കും, ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും സോര്നിവാസികളും;
8Asshur also is joined with them, They have been an arm to sons of Lot. Selah.
8അശ്ശൂരും അവരോടു യോജിച്ചു; അവര് ലോത്തിന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നു സേലാ.
9Do to them as [to] Midian, As [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the stream Kishon.
9മിദ്യാന്യരോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; കീശോന് തോട്ടിങ്കല്വെച്ചു സീസരയോടും യാബീനോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ.
10They were destroyed at Endor, They were dung for the ground!
10അവര് എന് ദോരില്വെച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോയി; അവര് നിലത്തിന്നു വളമായി തീര്ന്നു.
11Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb, And as Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes,
11അവരുടെ കുലീനന്മാരെ ഔരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും സേബഹ്, സല്മൂന്നാ എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.
12Who have said, `Let us occupy for ourselves The comely places of God.`
12നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളുക എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
13O my God, make them as a rolling thing, As stubble before wind.
13എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റത്തു പാറുന്ന പതിര്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.
14As a fire doth burn a forest, And as a flame setteth hills on fire,
14വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീപോലെയും പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ ചുട്ടുകളയുന്ന അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെയും
15So dost Thou pursue them with Thy whirlwind, And with Thy hurricane troublest them.
15നിന്റെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പിന്തുടരേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.
16Fill their faces [with] shame, And they seek Thy name, O Jehovah.
16യഹോവേ, അവര് തിരുനാമത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ ലജ്ജാപൂര്ണ്ണമാക്കേണമേ.
17They are ashamed and troubled for ever, Yea, they are confounded and lost.
17അവര് എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിക്കയും നാണിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
18And they know that Thou — (Thy name [is] Jehovah — by Thyself,) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!
