1An instruction, by Ethan the Ezrahite. Of the kind acts of Jehovah, to the age I sing, To all generations I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth,
1യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാന് എന്നേക്കും പാടും; തലമുറതലമുറയോളം എന്റെ വായ് കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ അറിയിക്കും.
2For I said, `To the age is kindness built, The heavens! Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness in them.`
2ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉറച്ചുനിലക്കും എന്നു ഞാന് പറയുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ നീ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് സ്ഥിരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
3I have made a covenant for My chosen, I have sworn to David My servant:
3എന്റെ വൃതനോടു ഞാന് ഒരു നിയമവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യവും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
4`Even to the age do I establish thy seed, And have built to generation and generation thy throne. Selah.
4നിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ഞാന് എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തും; നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഉറപ്പിക്കും. സേലാ.
5and the heavens confess Thy wonders, O Jehovah, Thy faithfulness also [is] in an assembly of holy ones.
5യഹോവേ, സ്വര്ഗ്ഗം നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഭയില് നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും.
6For who in the sky, Compareth himself to Jehovah? Is like to Jehovah among sons of the mighty?
6സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് യഹോവയോടു സദൃശനായവന് ആര്? ദേവപുത്രന്മാരില് യഹോവേക്കു തുല്യനായവന് ആര്?
7God is very terrible, In the secret counsel of His holy ones, And fearful over all surrounding Him.
7ദൈവം വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തില് ഏറ്റവും ഭയങ്കരനും അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവര്ക്കും മീതെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് യോഗ്യനും ആകുന്നു.
8O Jehovah, God of Hosts, Who [is] like Thee — a strong Jah? And Thy faithfulness [is] round about Thee.
8സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ബലവാന് ആരുള്ളു? യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിന്നെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
9Thou [art] ruler over the pride of the sea, In the lifting up of its billows Thou dost restrain them.
9നീ സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഗര്വ്വത്തെ അടക്കിവാഴുന്നു. അതിലെ തിരകള് പൊങ്ങുമ്പോള് നീ അവയെ അമര്ത്തുന്നു.
10Thou hast bruised Rahab, as one wounded. With the arm of Thy strength Thou hast scattered Thine enemies.
10നീ രഹബിനെ ഒരു ഹതനെപ്പോലെ തകര്ത്തു; നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
11Thine [are] the heavens — the earth also [is] Thine, The habitable world and its fulness, Thou hast founded them.
11ആകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതു, ഭൂമിയും നിനക്കുള്ളതു; ഭൂതലവും അതിന്റെ പൂര്ണ്ണതയും നീ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
12North and south Thou hast appointed them, Tabor and Hermon in Thy name do sing.
12ദക്ഷിണോത്തരദിക്കുകളെ നീ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; താബോരും ഹെര്മ്മോനും നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു;
13Thou hast an arm with might, Strong is Thy hand — high Thy right hand.
13നിനക്കു വീര്യമുള്ളോരു ഭുജം ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ കൈ ബലമുള്ളതും നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ഉന്നതവും ആകുന്നു.
14Righteousness and judgment [Are] the fixed place of Thy throne, Kindness and truth go before Thy face.
14നീതിയും ന്യായവും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നു; ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കുന്നു.
15O the happiness of the people knowing the shout, O Jehovah, in the light of Thy face they walk habitually.
15ജയഘോഷം അറിയുന്ന ജനത്തിന്നു ഭാഗ്യം; യഹോവേ, അവര് നിന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തില് നടക്കും.
16In Thy name they rejoice all the day, And in Thy righteousness they are exalted,
16അവര് ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ നീതിയില് അവര് ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
17For the beauty of their strength [art] Thou, And in Thy good will is our horn exalted,
17നീ അവരുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വമാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താല് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പു ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
18For of Jehovah [is] our shield, And of the Holy One of Israel our king.
18നമ്മുടെ പരിച യഹോവേക്കുള്ളതും നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നുള്ളവന്നും ആകുന്നു.
19Then Thou hast spoken in vision, To Thy saint, yea, Thou sayest, I have placed help upon a mighty one, Exalted a chosen one out of the people,
19അന്നു നീ ദര്ശനത്തില് നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു; ഞാന് വീരനായ ഒരുത്തന്നു സഹായം നലകുകയും ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു വൃതനെ ഉയര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.
20I have found David My servant, With My holy oil I have anointed him.
20ഞാന് എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധതൈലംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു.
21With whom My hand is established, My arm also doth strengthen him.
21എന്റെ കൈ അവനോടുകൂടെ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ഭുജം അവനെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തും.
22An enemy exacteth not upon him, And a son of perverseness afflicteth him not.
22ശത്രു അവനെ തോല്പിക്കയില്ല; വഷളന് അവനെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കയും ഇല്ല.
23And I have beaten down before him his adversaries, And those hating him I plague,
23ഞാന് അവന്റെ വൈരികളെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് തകര്ക്കും; അവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ സംഹരിക്കും,
24And My faithfulness and kindness [are] with him, And in My name is his horn exalted.
24എന്നാല് എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും ദയയും അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കും.
25And I have set on the sea his hand, And on the rivers his right hand.
25അവന്റെ കയ്യെ ഞാന് സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേലും അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യെ നദികളുടെമേലും നീട്ടുമാറാക്കും.
26He proclaimeth me: `Thou [art] my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.`
26അവന് എന്നോടുനീ എന്റെ പിതാവു, എന്റെ ദൈവം, എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചുപറയും.
27I also first-born do appoint him, Highest of the kings of the earth.
27ഞാന് അവനെ ആദ്യജാതനും ഭൂരാജാക്കന്മാരില് ശ്രേഷ്ഠനുമാക്കും.
28To the age I keep for him My kindness, And My covenant [is] stedfast with him.
28ഞാന് അവന്നു എന്റെ ദയയെ എന്നേക്കും കാണിക്കും; എന്റെ നിയമം അവന്നു സ്ഥിരമായി നിലക്കും.
29And I have set his seed for ever, And his throne as the days of the heavens.
29ഞാന് അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളവും നിലനിര്ത്തും.
30If his sons forsake My law, And in My judgments do not walk;
30അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതിരിക്കയും
31If My statutes they pollute, And My commands do not keep,
31എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ലംഘിക്കയും എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്
32I have looked after with a rod their transgression, And with strokes their iniquity,
32ഞാന് അവരുടെ ലംഘനത്തെ വടികൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തെ ദണ്ഡനംകൊണ്ടും സന്ദര്ശിക്കും.
33And My kindness I break not from him, Nor do I deal falsely in My faithfulness.
33എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദയയെ ഞാന് അവങ്കല് നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയില്ല; എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുകയുമില്ല.
34I profane not My covenant, And that which is going forth from My lips I change not.
34ഞാന് എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ലംഘിക്കയോ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്നു ഭേദം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല.
35Once I have sworn by My holiness, I lie not to David,
35ഞാന് ഒരിക്കല് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനോടു ഞാന് ഭോഷകു പറകയില്ല.
36His seed is to the age, And his throne [is] as the sun before Me,
36അവന്റെ സന്തതി ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്റെ മുമ്പില് സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.
37As the moon it is established — to the age, And the witness in the sky is stedfast. Selah.
37അതു ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ വിശ്വസ്തസാക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെയും എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും. സേലാ.
38And Thou, Thou hast cast off, and dost reject, Thou hast shown Thyself wroth With Thine anointed,
38എങ്കിലും നീ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളകയും നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തനോടു കോപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
39Hast rejected the covenant of Thy servant, Thou hast polluted to the earth his crown,
39നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുള്ള നിയമത്തെ നീ വെറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ കിരീടത്തെ നീ നിലത്തിട്ടു അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
40Thou hast broken down all his hedges, Thou hast made his fenced places a ruin.
40നീ അവന്റെ വേലി ഒക്കെയും പൊളിച്ചു; അവന്റെ കോട്ടകളെയും ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
41Spoiled him have all passing by the way, He hath been a reproach to his neighbours,
41വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അവനെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നു; തന്റെ അയല്ക്കാര്ക്കും അവന് നിന്ദ ആയിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
42Thou hast exalted the right hand of his adversaries, Thou hast caused all his enemies to rejoice.
42നീ അവന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ വലങ്കയ്യെ ഉയര്ത്തി; അവന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു.
43Also — Thou turnest back the sharpness of his sword, And hast not established him in battle,
43അവന്റെ വാളിന് വായ്ത്തലയെ നീ മടക്കി; യുദ്ധത്തില് അവനെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കിയതുമില്ല.
44Hast caused [him] to cease from his brightness, And his throne to the earth hast cast down.
44അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ നീ ഇല്ലാതാക്കി; അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു.
45Thou hast shortened the days of his youth, Hast covered him over [with] shame. Selah.
45അവന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തെ നീ ചുരുക്കി; നീ അവനെ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.
46Till when, O Jehovah, art Thou hidden? For ever doth Thy fury burn as fire?
46യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം മറഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതും നിന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?
47Remember, I pray Thee, what [is] life-time? Wherefore in vain hast Thou created All the sons of men?
47എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു എത്രചുരുക്കം എന്നു ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; എന്തു മിത്ഥ്യാത്വത്തിന്നായി നീ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു?
48Who [is] the man that liveth, and doth not see death? He delivereth his soul from the hand of Sheol. Selah.
48ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു മരണം കാണാതെയിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ആര്? തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവനും ആരുള്ളു? സേലാ.
49Where [are] Thy former kindnesses, O Lord. Thou hast sworn to David in Thy faithfulness,
49കര്ത്താവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയില് നി ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത നിന്റെ പണ്ടത്തെ കൃപകള് എവിടെ?
50Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Thy servants, I have borne in my bosom all the strivings of the peoples,
50കര്ത്താവേ, അടിയങ്ങളുടെ നിന്ദ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഞാന് സകലമഹാജാതികളുടെയും നിന്ദ വഹിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ.
51Wherewith Thine enemies reproached, O Jehovah, Wherewith they have reproached The steps of Thine anointed.
51യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് നിന്ദിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അവര് നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ കാലടികളെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
52Blessed [is] Jehovah to the age. Amen, and amen!
52യഹോവ എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേന് , ആമേന് .
