1God of vengeance — Jehovah! God of vengeance, shine forth.
1പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, പ്രകാശിക്കേണമേ.
2Be lifted up, O Judge of the earth, Send back a recompence on the proud.
2ഭൂമിയുടെ ന്യായാധിപതിയേ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; ഡംഭികള്ക്കു നീ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യേണമേ.
3Till when [do] the wicked, O Jehovah? Till when do the wicked exult?
3യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് എത്രത്തോളം, ദുഷ്ടന്മാര് എത്രത്തോളം ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും?
4They utter — they speak an old saw, All working iniquity do boast themselves.
4അവര് ശകാരിച്ചു ധാര്ഷ്ട്യം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും വമ്പു പറയുന്നു.
5Thy people, O Jehovah, they bruise, And Thine inheritance they afflict.
5യഹോവേ, അവര് നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ തകര്ത്തുകളയുന്നു; നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
6Widow and sojourner they slay, And fatherless ones they murder.
6അവര് വിധവയെയും പരദേശിയെയും കൊല്ലുന്നു; അനാഥന്മാരെ അവര് ഹിംസിക്കുന്നു.
7And they say, `Jehovah doth not see, And the God of Jacob doth not consider.`
7യഹോവ കാണുകയില്ല എന്നും യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം ഗ്രഹിക്കയില്ലെന്നും അവര് പറയുന്നു.
8Consider, ye brutish among the people, And ye foolish, when do ye act wisely?
8ജനത്തില് മൃഗപ്രായരായവരേ, ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് ; ഭോഷന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എപ്പോള് ബുദ്ധിവരും?
9He who planteth the ear doth He not hear? He who formeth the eye doth He not see?
9ചെവിയെ നട്ടവന് കേള്ക്കയില്ലയോ? കണ്ണിനെ നിര്മ്മിച്ചവന് കാണുകയില്ലയോ?
10He who is instructing nations, Doth He not reprove? He who is teaching man knowledge [is] Jehovah.
10ജാതികളെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന് ശാസിക്കയില്ലയോ? അവന് മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?
11He knoweth the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity.
11മനുഷ്യരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങളെ മായ എന്നു യഹോവ അറിയുന്നു.
12O the happiness of the man Whom Thou instructest, O Jah, And out of Thy law teachest him,
12യഹോവേ, ദുഷ്ടന്നു കുഴി കുഴിക്കുവോളം അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് നീ അവനെ വിശ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു
13To give rest to him from days of evil, While a pit is digged for the wicked.
13നീ ശിക്ഷിക്കയും നിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നീ ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .
14For Jehovah leaveth not His people, And His inheritance forsaketh not.
14യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ തള്ളിക്കളകയില്ല; തന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ കൈവിടുകയുമില്ല.
15For to righteousness judgment turneth back, And after it all the upright of heart,
15ന്യായവിധി നീതിയിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും; പരമാര്ത്ഥഹൃദയമുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും അതിനോടു യോജിക്കും.
16Who riseth up for me with evil doers? Who stationeth himself for me with workers of iniquity?
16ദുഷ്കര്മ്മികളുടെ നേരെ ആര് എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എഴുന്നേലക്കും? നീതികേടു പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവരോടു ആര് എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി എതിര്ത്തുനിലക്കും?
17Unless Jehovah [were] a help to me, My soul had almost inhabited silence.
17യഹോവ എനിക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് എന്റെ പ്രാണന് വേഗം മൌനവാസം ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
18If I have said, `My foot hath slipped,` Thy kindness, O Jehovah, supporteth me.
18എന്റെ കാല് വഴുതുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദയ എന്നെ താങ്ങി.
19In the abundance of my thoughts within me, Thy comforts delight my soul.
19എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ വിചാരങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തില് നിന്റെ ആശ്വാസങ്ങള് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
20Is a throne of mischief joined [with] Thee? A framer of perverseness by statute?
20നിയമത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി കഷ്ടത നിര്മ്മിക്കുന്ന ദുഷ്ടസിംഹാസനത്തിന്നു നിന്നോടു സഖ്യത ഉണ്ടാകുമോ?
21They decree against the soul of the righteous, And innocent blood declare wicked.
21നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വിരോധമായി അവര് കൂട്ടംകൂടുന്നു; കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തത്തെ അവര് ശിക്ഷെക്കു വിധിക്കുന്നു.
22And Jehovah is for a high place to me, And my God [is] for a rock — my refuge,
22എങ്കിലും യഹോവ എനിക്കു ഗോപുരവും എന്റെ ശരണശൈലമായ എന്റെ ദൈവവും ആകുന്നു.
23And turneth back on them their iniquity, And in their wickedness cutteth them off; Jehovah our God doth cut them off!
23അവന് അവരുടെ നീതികേടു അവരുടെമേല് തന്നേ വരുത്തും; അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടതയില് തന്നേ അവരെ സംഹരിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും.
