1These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
1रऊबेन, शिमोन, लेवी, यहूदा, इस्साखार, जबुलून,
2Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
2दान, योसेफ, बन्यामीन, नफताली, गाद व आशेर हे इस्राएलचे मुलगे होत.
3Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, first-born of Judah, is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, and He putteth him to death.
3एर, ओनान व शेला, ही यहूदाची मुले. बथ - शूवा या कनानी स्रीपासून ही त्याला झाली. यहूदाचा पहिला मुलगा एर वाईट प्रवृत्तीचा आहे हे परमेश्वराने जाणले होते त्यामुळे एरला त्याने मारुन टाकले.
4And Tamar his daughter-in-law hath borne to him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah [are] five.
4यहूदाची सून तामार हिला पेरेस आणि जेरह हे मुलगे झाले. असे यहूदाचे हे पाच मुलगे.
5Sons of Pharez: Hezron, and Hamul.

8And sons of Ethan: Azariah.

9And sons of Hezron who were born to him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

13and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,

14Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,

16and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El — three.

17And Abigail hath borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmeelite.

19And Azubah dieth, and Caleb taketh to him Ephrath, and she beareth to him Hur.

20And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

21And afterwards hath Hezron gone in unto a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he hath taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she beareth to him Segub.
21पुढे, वयाच्या साठाव्या वर्षी हेस्रोनने माखीरच्या मुलीशी लग्न केले. माखीर म्हणजे गिलादचे वडील. हेस्रोन आणि माखीरची मुलगी यांच्या शरीरसंबंधातून तिने सगूब याला जन्म दिला.
22And Segub begat Jair, and he hath twenty and three cities in the land of Gilead,
22सगूबचा मुलगा याईर. याईरची गिलाद प्रांतात तेवीस नगरे होती.
23and he taketh Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities — all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
23पण गशूर आणि अराम यांनी ती सर्व बळकावली. कनाथ आणि आसपासची खेडीपाडी ही त्यापैकीच. अशी एकंदर साठ खेडी होती. ती सर्व, गिलादचा बाप माखीर याच्या मुलांची होती.
24And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even beareth to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
24एफ्राथमधील कालेब येथे हेस्रोन मरण पावला. त्याची बायको अबीया हिला त्याच्या मृत्यूनंतर त्याच्यापासून झालेला अशहूर हा मुलगा होता. हा अश्हूर म्हणजे तकोवाचा बाप.
25And sons of Jerahmeel, first-born of Hezron, are: the first-born Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
25यरहमेल हा हेस्रोनचा पहिला मुलगा. राम, बुना, ओरेन, ओसेम व अहीया ही यरहमेलची मुले. राम हा त्यातला मोठा.
26And Jerahmeel hath another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
26यरहमेलला दुसरी बायको होती, तिचे नाव अटारा. ती ओनामची आई.
27And sons of Ram, first-born of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
27यरहमेलाचा थोरला मुलगा राम याचे मुलगे मास, यामीन आणि एकर हे होत.
28And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
28शम्मय व यादा हे ओनामचे मुलगे. नादाब आणि अबीशूर हे शम्मयचे मुलगे.
29And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she beareth to him Ahban and Molid.
29अबीशूराच्या बायकोचे नाव अबीहाईल. त्यांना दोन मुलगे झाले ते म्हणजे अहबान आणि मोलीद.
30And sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; and Seled dieth without sons.

31And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
31अप्पईमचा मुलगा इशी. इशीचा मुलगा शेशान. शेशानचा मुलगा अहलय.
32And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether dieth without sons.
32शम्मयचा भाऊ यादा याला येथेर आणि योनाथान हे दोन मुलगे होते. पैकी येथेर मुले बाळे न होताच वारला.
33And sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
33पेलेथ आणि जाजा हे योनाथानचे मुलगे, ही झाली यरहमेलची वंशावळ.
34And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan hath a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,

35and Sheshan giveth his daughter to Jarha his servant for a wife, and she beareth to him Attai;

36and Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
37जाबादचा मुलगा एफ्लाल, एफलाल हा ओबेदचा बाप.
38and Obed begat Jehu,

39and Jehu begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
39अजऱ्याने हेलसला जन्म दिला. आणि हेलसाने एलासा याला जन्म दिला.
40and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum,
40एलासाचा मुलगा सिस्माया, सिस्मायाचा मुलगा शल्लूम,
41and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
41शल्लूमचा मुलगा यकम्या, यकम्याचा मुलगा अलीशामा.
42And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his first-born, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
42कालेब हा यरहमेलचा भाऊ. कालेबलाही मुलगे झाले. त्यापैकी मेशा हा थोरला. मेशाचा मुलगा जीफ. मारेशाचा मुलगा जीफ. मारेशाचा मुलगा हेब्रोन.
43And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
43कोरह, तप्पूर, रेकेम आणि शमा हे हेब्रोनचे मुलगे.
44And Shema begat Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begat Shammai.
44शमाने रहम याला जन्म दिला, रहमचा मुलगा यकर्ाम. रेकेमचा मुलगा शम्मय,
45And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
45शम्मयचा मुलगा मावोन. मावोन हा बेथसूरचा बाप.
46And Ephah concubine of Caleb bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez.
46कालेबला एफा नावाची दासी होती. तिला हारान, मोसा, गाजेज ही मुले झाली. हारान हा गाजेजचा पिता.
47And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
47रेगेम, योथाम, गेशान, पेलेट, एफा व शाफ हे यहदायचे मुलगे.
48The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bare Sheber and Tirhanah;
48माका ही कालेबची आणखी एक दासी. शेबेर आणि तिऱ्हना हे तिचे मुलगे.
49and she beareth Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
49शाफ आणि शवा हे ही तिला झाले. शाफचा मुलगा मद्नान आणि शवाचे मुलगे मखबेना आणि गिबा. अखसा ही कालेबची मुलगी.
50These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,

52And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
52किर्याथ-यारीमची मुहूर्त मेढ रोवणारा शोबाल याचे वंशज असे: हारोवे, मनुहोथमथील अर्धे लोक,
53and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite: from these went out the Zareathite, and the Eshtaulite.

54Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
54सल्माचे वंशज याप्रमाणे: बेथलेहेम व नटोपाथी, अटरोथ-बेथयवाब, अर्धे मानहतकर आणि सारी लोक.
55and the families of the scribes the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
55शिवाय तिराथी, शिमाथी, सुकाथी ही याबेसमध्ये राहणारी लेखनिकांची घराणी. हे नकलनवीस म्हणजे रेखाबचा संस्थापक हम्माथ याच्यापासून उत्पन्न झालेले केनी लोक होते.
