6उज्जीने जरह्या याला जन्म दिला आणि जरहयाने मरायोथला.
7Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
7मरायोथ हा अमऱ्या याचा बाप. आणि अमऱ्या अहीटूबचा.
8and Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,
8अहीटूबचा मुलगा सादोक. सादोकचा मुलगा अहीमास.
9and Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
9अहीमासचा मुलगा अजऱ्या. अजऱ्याचा मुलगा योहानन.
10and Johanan begat Azariah, him who acted as priest in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.
10योहाननचा, मुलगा अजऱ्या (शलमोनाने यरुशलेममध्ये मंदिर बांधले तेव्हा हा अजऱ्याच याजक होता.)
11And Azariah begetteth Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
11अजऱ्या याने अमऱ्या याला जन्म दिला. अमऱ्याने अहीटूबला.
12and Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
12अहीटूबचा मुलगा सादोकचा मुलगा शल्लूम.
13and Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
13शल्लूमचा मुलगा हिल्कीया. हिल्कीयाचा मुलगा अजऱ्या.
14and Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak;
14अजऱ्या म्हणजे सरायाचे वडील. सरायाने यहोसादाकला जन्म दिला.
15and Jehozadak hath gone in Jehovah`s removing Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
15यहूदा आणि यरुशलेम यांचा परमेश्वराने पाडाव केला तेव्हा यहोसादाकला परागंदा व्हावे लागले. या लोकांना युध्दकैदी म्हणून दुसऱ्या देशात जावे लागले. परमेश्वराने हे सर्व नबुखद्नेस्सरच्या हातून घडवले.
16Sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
16गर्षोम, कहाथ आणि मरारी हे लेवीचे मुलगे.
17And these [are] names of sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18And sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19Sons of Merari; Mahli and Mushi. And these [are] families of the Levite according to their fathers;

22Sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
22कहाथचे वंशज असे: कहाथचा मुलगा अम्मीनादाब. अम्मीनादाबचा कोरह. कोरहचा मुलगा अस्सीर.
23Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,
23अस्सीरचा मुलगा एलकाना आणि एलकानाचा मुलगा एब्यासाफ. एब्यासाफचा मुलगा अस्सीर.
24Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.
24अस्सीरचा मुलगा तहथ. तहथचा मुलगा उरीएल. उरीएलचा उज्जीया. उज्जीयाचा शौल.
25And sons of Elkanah; Amasai and Ahimoth.
25अमासय आणि अहीमोथ हे एलकानाचे मुलगे.
26Elkanah; sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,
26एलकानाचा मुलगा सोफय. सोफयचा मुलगा नहथ.
27Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.
27नहथचा मुलगा अलीयाब. अलीयाबचा यरोहाम. यरोहामचा एलकाना. एलकानाचा मुलगा शमुवेल.
28And sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni, and the second Abijah.
28थोरला योएल आणि त्याच्या पाठीवरचा अबीया हे शमुवेलचे मुलगे.
29Sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31And these [are] they whom David stationed over the parts of the song of the house of Jehovah, from the resting of the ark,

35son of Zuph, son of Elkanah, son of Mahath, son of Amasai,
35तोहा सूफचा मुलगा. सूफ एलकानाचा मुलगा. एलकाना महथचा मुलगा. महथ अमासयचा मुलगा.
36son of Elkanah, son of Joel, son of Azariah, son of Zephaniah,

37son of Tahath, son of Assir, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah,
37सफन्या तहथचा मुलगा. तहथ अस्सीरचा मुलगा. अस्सीर एव्यासाफचा मुलगा. एव्यासाफ कोरहचा मुलगा.
38son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, son of Israel.
38कोरह इसहारचा मुलगा. इसहार कहाथचा मुलगा. कहाथ लेवीचा आणि लेवी इस्राएलाचा मुलगा.
39And his brother Asaph, who is standing on his right — Asaph, son of Berachiah, son of Shimea,
39आसाफ हेमानचा नातलग होता. हेमानच्या उजवीकडे आसाफ उभा राहून सेवा करीत असे. आसाफ हा बरेख्या याचा मुलगा. बरेख्या शिमाचा मुलगा.
40son of Michael, son of Baaseiah, son of Malchiah,
40शिमा मिखाएलचा मुलगा. मिखाएल बासेया याचा मुलगा. बासेया मल्कीया याचा मुलगा.
41son of Ethni, son of Zerah, son of Adaiah,
41मल्कीया एथनीचा मुलगा, एथनी जेरहचा मुलगा जेरह हा अदाया याचा मुलगा.
42son of Ethan, son of Zimmah, son of Shimei,
42अदाया एतानाचा मुलगा. एथाना हा जिम्मा याचा मुलगा. जिम्मा शिमीचा मुलगा.
43son of Jahath, son of Gershom, son of Levi.
43शिमी यहथ याचा मुलगा. यहथ हा गर्षोम याचा मुलगा. गर्षोम लेवीचा मुलगा.
44And sons of Merari, their brethren, [are] on the left. Ethan son of Kishi, son of Abdi, son of Malluch,
44मरारीचे वंशज हेमान आणि आसाफ यांचे नातलग होते. गाताना त्यांचा गट हेमानच्या डावीकडे उभा राहत असे. एथान हा किशीचा मुलगा. किशी अब्दीचा मुलगा. अब्दी मल्लूखचा मुलगा.
45son of Hashabiah, son of Amaziah, son of Hilkiah,

46son of Amzi, son of Bani, son of Shamer,

47son of Mahli, son of Mushi, son of Merari, son of Levi.
47शेमेर महलीचा मुलगा. महली मूशीचा मुलगा, मूशी मरारीचा मुलगा मरारी हा लेवीचा मुलगा.
48And their brethren the Levites are put to all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
48हेमान आणि आसाफ यांचे नातलग हे लेवी घराण्यातील होते. मंदिराच्या पवित्र निवासमंडपात काम करायला लेवींची निवड झाली होती. पवित्र निवासमंडप म्हणजे देवाचे घरच.
49And Aaron and his sons are making perfume on the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of the perfume, for all the work of the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses servant of God commanded.
49होम करायच्या आणि धूप जाळायच्या वेदींवर धूप जाळायची परवानगी मात्र फक्त अहरोनच्या वंशजातील लोकांनाच होती. अहरोनचे हे वंशज देवाच्या अत्यंत पवित्र गाभाऱ्यात नेमलेले सर्व काम करत. इस्राएली लोकांना प्रायश्र्चित्त देऊन शुध्द करण्याचे समारंभही ते करत. मोशे याने सांगितलेले नियम आणि विधी ते पाळत. मोशे देवाचा सेवक होता.
50And these [are] sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
50अहरोनचे वंशज पुढीलप्रमाणे: अहरोनचा मुलगा एलाजार. एलाजारचा मुलगा फिनहास. फिनहासचा मुलगा अबीशूवा.
51Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
51अबीशूवाचा मुलगा बुक्की. बुक्कीचा मुलगा उज्जी. उज्जीचा मुलगा जरह्या.
52Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
52जरह्याचा मुलगा मरायोथ. मरायोथचा मुलगा अमऱ्या. अमऱ्याचा मुलगा अहीटूब.
53Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
53अहीटूबचा मुलगा सादोक आणि सादोकचा मुलगा अहीमास.
54And these [are] their dwellings, throughout their towers, in their borders, of the sons of Aaron, of the family of the Kohathite, for theirs was the lot;
54अहरोनचे वंशज राहत त्या ठिकाणांची माहिती अशी. त्यांना दिलेल्या जमिनीवर त्यांनी त्यांच्या वसत्या उभारल्या. कहथ कुटुंबांना त्या जमिनीतील पहिला वाटा मिळाला.
55and they give to them Hebron in the land of Judah and its suburbs round about it;

56and the field of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb son of Jephunneh.

57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge: Hebron, and Libnah and its suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,

58and Hilen and its suburbs, Debir and its suburbs,

59and Ashan and its suburbs, and Beth-Shemesh and its suburbs.
59आशान, युत्ता, आणि बेथ-शेमेश ही नगरे त्यांच्या आसपासच्या शिवारांसकट मिळाली.
60And from the tribe of Benjamin, Geba and its suburbs, and Allemeth and its suburbs, and Anathoth and its suburbs. All their cities [are] thirteen cities, for their families.
60बन्यामीनच्या वंशातील लोकांना गिबा, अल्लेमेथ, अनाथोथ ही नगरे त्यांच्या आसपासच्या शिवारांसकट मिळाली. कहथच्या वंशजांना तेरा नगरे मिळाली.
61And to the sons of Kohath, those left of the family of the tribe, from the half of the tribe, the half of Manasseh, by lot, [are] ten cities.
61कहथच्या उरलेल्या काही वंशजांना मनश्शेच्या अर्ध्या वंशांतून दहा नगरे मिळाली.
62And to the sons of Gershom, for their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
62गर्षोमच्या वंशजातील कुळांना तेरा नगरे मिळाली. ही त्यांना इस्साखार, आशेर, नफताली आणि बाशान मधील काही मनश्शे या वंशांच्या घराण्यांकडून मिळाली.
63To the sons of Merari, for their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, by lot, twelve cities.
63मरारीच्या वंशजांतील कुळांना बारा नगरे मिळाली. रऊबेनी, गाद आणि जबुलून यांच्या घराण्यांतून, चिठ्ठ्या टाकून त्यांना ती मिळाली.
64And the sons of Israel give to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.
64ही नगरे व भोवतालची जमीन इस्राएल लोकांनी मग लेवींना दिली.
65And they give by lot from the tribe of the sons of Judah, and from the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and from the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name;

66and some of the families of the sons of Kohath have cities of their border from the tribe of Ephraim;

67and they give to them the cities of refuge, Shechem and its suburbs in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its suburbs,

68and Jokmeam and its suburbs, and Beth-Horan and its suburbs,

69अयालोन आणि गथ-रिम्मोन हीही नगरे आसपासच्या जमिनीसकट त्यांना मिळाली. एफ्राईमच्या डोंगराळ भागातील ही गावे होत.
70and from the half tribe of Manasseh, Aner and its suburbs, and Bileam and its suburbs, for the family of the sons of Kohath who are left.
70मनश्शेच्या अर्ध्या वंशातून इस्राएलांनी आनेर आणि बिलाम ही गावे शिवारांसकट कहाथच्या वंशाच्या लोकांना दिली.
71To the sons of Gershom from the family of the half of the tribe of Manasseh [are] Golan in Bashan and its suburbs, and Ashtaroth and its suburbs;
71गर्षोमच्या वंशजांना बाशानमधील गोलान आणि अष्टारोथ हे त्यांच्या भोवतालच्या शिवारासकट, मनश्शेच्या अर्ध्या वंशाकडून मिळाले.
72and from the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh and its suburbs, Daberath and its suburbs,

76गालीलमधले केदेश, हम्मोन, किर्याथाईम ही शिवारासकट नगरे नफतालीच्या वंशातून गर्षोन वंशाला मिळाली.
77To the sons of Merari who are left, from the tribe of Zebulun, [are] Rimmon and its suburbs, Tabor and its suburbs;
77आता उरलेले लेवी म्हणजे मरारी लोक त्यांना योकनीम, कर्ता, रिम्मोनो आणि ताबोर ही नगरे जबुलूनच्या घराण्याकडून मिळाली. नगराभोवतीची जमिनही अर्थातच मिळाली.
78and from beyond the Jordan by Jericho, at the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness and its suburbs, and Jahzah and its suburbs,
