1And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, `And thou, son of man, Thus said the Lord Jehovah to the ground of Israel:
1मग परमेश्वराचे शब्द मला ऐकू आले.
2An end, come hath the end on the four corners of the land.
2तो म्हणाला, “मानवपुत्रा, हा आहे परमेश्वराचा, तुझ्या प्रभूचा, इस्राएलच्या भूमीसाठी संदेश. शेवट येत आहे. संपूर्ण देशाचा नाश होईल.
3Now [is] the end unto thee, And I have sent Mine anger upon thee, And judged thee according to thy ways, And set against thee all thine abominations.
3आता तुमचा अंतकाळ येत आहे. मी तुमच्यावर किती रागावलो आहे ते दाखवीन. तुम्ही केलेल्या दुष्कृत्यांबद्दल मी तुम्हाला शिक्षा करीन. तुम्ही केलेल्या भयंकर कृत्यांची किंमत मी तुम्हाला मोजायला लावीन.
4And no pity on thee hath Mine eye, nor do I spare, For thy ways against thee I do set, And thine abominations are in thy midst, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
4मी तुम्हाला अजिबात दया दाखविणार नाही. मला तुमच्याबद्दल वाईट वाटणार नाही. तुमच्या दुष्कृत्यांबद्दल मी तुम्हाला सजा देत आहे. तुम्ही फारच भयंकर कर्मे केलीत. आता तुम्हाला कळेल की मीच देव आहे.”
5Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Evil, a single evil, lo, it hath come.
5नंतर परमेश्वराने, माझ्या प्रभुने पुढील गोष्टी सांगितल्या. “एकापाठोपाठ एक अरिष्ट येईल.
6An end hath come, come hath the end, It hath waked for thee, lo, it hath come.
6शेवट येत आहे. तो लवकरच येईल.
7Come hath the morning unto thee, O inhabitant of the land! Come hath the time, near [is] a day of trouble, And not the shouting of mountains.
7इस्राएलवासीयांनो, तुम्ही शिटीचा आवाज ऐकत आहात ना? शत्रू येत आहे. शिक्षेची ती वेळ लवकरच येत आहे. पवर्तांवरुन शत्रूचा आवाज अधिकाधिक वाढत चालला आहे.
8Now, shortly I pour out My fury on thee, And have completed Mine anger against thee, And judged thee according to thy ways, And set against thee all thine abominations.
8आता लवकरच, तुम्हाला, मी किती रागावलो आहे, ते कळेल. मी माझा सगळा राग तुमच्यावर काढीन. तुम्ही केलेल्या दुष्कृत्यांबद्दल मी तुम्हाला शिक्षा करीन. तुम्ही केलेल्या दुष्कृत्यांबद्दल मी तुम्हाला शिक्षा करीन. तुम्ही केलेल्या भयंकर कर्मांची किंमत मी तुम्हाला मोजायला लावीन.
9And not pity doth Mine eye, nor do I spare, According to thy ways unto thee I give, And thine abominations are in thy midst, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah the smiter.
9मी तुम्हाला अजिबात दया दाखविणार नाही. मला तुमच्याबद्दल वाईट वाटणार नाही. तुम्ही केलेल्या दुष्कृत्यांबद्दल मी तुम्हाला शिक्षा करत आहे. तुम्ही फारच भयानक कृत्ये केली. आता तुम्हाला कळेल की तुम्हाला दणका देणारा मी तुमचा परमेश्वर आहे.
10Lo, the day, lo, it hath come, Gone forth hath the morning, Blossomed hath the rod, flourished the pride.
10“रोप उगवते व वाढते आणि त्याला फुले येतात, त्याप्रमाणे शिक्षेची ती वेळ आली आहे. देवाने खूण केली आहे. शत्रू तयार झाला आहे. शिक्षेला सुरवात होत आहे. हातातील काठीला अंकुर फुटले आहेत. गर्विष्ठ राजा (नबुखद्नेस्सर) अधिक तयार झाला आहे.
11The violence hath risen to a rod of wickedness, There is none of them, nor of their multitude, Nor of their noise, nor is there wailing for them.
11तो हिंसक माणूस त्या दुष्टांना शिक्षा करायला सज्ज झाला आहे. इस्राएलमध्ये खूप लोक आहेत पण तो त्यांच्यातला नाही. तो त्या गर्दीतला एक नाही. तो कोणी त्या लोकांचा मोठा नेता नाही.
12Come hath the time, arrived hath the day, The buyer doth not rejoice, And the seller doth not become a mourner, For wrath [is] unto all its multitude.
12“ती शिक्षेची वेळ आली आहे. तो दिवस जवळच आहे. विकत घेणाऱ्यांना आनंद होणार नाही, विकणाऱ्यांना खेद वाटणार नाही. का? कारण प्रत्येकालाच ती भयंकर शिक्षा भोगावी लागले.
13For the seller to the sold thing turneth not, And yet among the living [is] their life, For the vision [is] unto all its multitude, It doth not turn back, And none by his iniquity doth strengthen his life.
13स्वत:ची मालमत्त विकणाऱ्या लोकांना ती कधीच परत मिळणार ना. एखादा जरी जिवंत राहिला, तरी त्याला ती मिळणार नाही. का? कारण हा दृष्टान्त सर्व लोकांसाठी आहे. त्यामुळे एखादा जिवंत राहिल्यास, बाकीच्यांना काही आनंद होणार नाही.
14They have blown with a trumpet to prepare the whole, And none is going to battle, For My wrath [is] unto all its multitude.
14“ते तुतारी फुंकून लोकांना सावध करतील. लोक लढायला सज्ज होतील पण ते लढण्यास पुढे सरसावणार नाहीत. का? कारण मी सगळ्यांना माझ्या कोपाची तीव्रता दाखवून देईन.
15The sword [is] without, And the pestilence and the famine within, He who is in a field by sword dieth, And he who is in a city, Famine and pestilence devour him.
15शत्रू नगरीबाहेर तलवार घेऊन सज्ज आहे. रोगराई व उपासमार नगरीत आहेत. एखादा बाहेर गेला, तर शत्रू सैनिक त्याला ठार करील आणि ते नगरीत राहिले तर, उपासमार व रोगराई त्यांचा नाश करील.
16And escaped away have their fugitives, And they have been on the mountains As doves of the valleys, All of them make a noising — each for his iniquity.
16“पण काही लोक निसटतील ते पवर्ताकडे धाव घेतील. पण त्यांना सुख लागणार नाही. पण स्वत:च्याच पापांमुळे ते दु:खी होतील. ते रडतील आणि दु:खाने पारव्याप्रमाणे घुमतील.
17All the hands are feeble, and all knees go — waters.
17लोक इतके दमलेले व दु:खी कष्टी असतील की ते हात उचलू शकणार नाहीत, त्यांचे पाय पाण्याप्रमाणे होतील.
18And they have girded on sackcloth, And covered them hath trembling, And unto all faces [is] shame, And on all their heads — baldness.
18ते शोकप्रदर्शक कपडे घालतील आणि अतिशय भयभीत होतील. प्रत्येक चेहरा लज्जित झालेला तुम्हाला दिसेल. दु:ख प्रकट करण्यासाठी ते आपली डोकी भादरतील.
19Their silver into out-places they cast, And their gold impurity becometh. Their silver and their gold is not able to deliver them, In a day of the wrath of Jehovah, Their soul they do not satisfy, And their bowels they do not fill, For the stumbling-block of their iniquity it hath been.
19ते त्यांच्याजवळील चांदीच्या मूर्ती रस्त्यावर टाकतील. सोन्याच्या मूर्ती त्यांना घाणेरड्या चिंध्यांप्रमाणे वाटतील. का? कारण परमेश्वराच्या क्रोधाग्नीतून त्या मूर्ती त्यांना वाचवू शकणार नाहीत. त्या मूर्ती म्हणजे फक्त लोकांचे पतन व्हावे (पाप करावे) म्हणून रचलेले सापळे होते. त्या लोकांना त्यांच्या मूर्ती अन्न देणार नाहीत व स्वत:चेही पोट भरणार नाहीत.
20As to the beauty of his ornament, For excellency He set it, And the images of their abominations, Their detestable things — they made in it, Therefore I have given it to them for impurity,
20“त्या लोकांनी आपल्या सुंदर दागिन्यांचा उपयोग करुन मूर्ती घडविली. त्यांना त्याचा अभिमान वाटत होता. त्यांनी भयानक मूर्ती बनविल्या. त्यांनी अशा घाणेरड्या वस्तू तयार केल्या. म्हणून मी (देव) त्यांना घाणेरड्या लक्तराप्रमाणे दूर फेकून देईन.
21And I have given it into the hand of the strangers for a prey, And to the wicked of the land for a spoil, And they have polluted it.
21त्यांना मी परकीयांच्या हाती सोपवीन. ते परके त्यांची टर उडवितील. ते काहींना ठार करतील तर काहींना कैद करतील.
22And I have turned My face from them, And they have polluted My hidden place, Yea, come into it have destroyers, and polluted it.
22मी तोंड फिरवीन, त्यांच्याकडे पाहणारसुद्धा नाही. ते परके लोक माझ्या मंदिराचा विध्वंस करतील. त्या पवित्र मंदिराच्या गाभाऱ्यात ते शिरतील आणि मंदिर अपवित्र करतील.
23Make the chain; for the land Hath been full of bloody judgments, And the city hath been full of violence.
23“कैद्यांसाठी बेड्या तयार करा. का? कारण पुष्कळ लोकांना, दुसऱ्यांना ठार मारल्याबद्दल, शिक्षा केली जाईल. नगरीच्या प्रत्येक जागी हिंसा होईल.
24And I have brought in the wicked of the nations, And they have possessed their houses, And I have caused to cease the excellency of the strong, And polluted have been those sanctifying them.
24मी दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रांतून दुष्ट लोक आणीन. ते इस्राएलच्या लोकांची सर्व घरे बळकावतील. तुमचे गर्वाचे घर मी खाली करीन. तुमची पूजास्थाने दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रांतील लोक ताब्यात घेतील.
25Destruction hath come, And they have sought peace, and there is none.
25“तुम्ही भीतीने कापाल. तुम्ही शांतीचा शोध घ्याल पण ती कोठेच मिळणार नाही.
26Mischief on mischief cometh, and report is on report, And they have sought a vision from a prophet, And law doth perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders,
26एकामागून एक वाईट गोष्टी तुम्ही ऐकाल. तुमच्या कानावर फक्त वाईट बातम्याच पडतील. तुम्ही संदेष्ट्याला शोधून दृष्टान्ताबद्दल विचारायला पाहाल, पण तुम्हाला असा कोणीच भेटणार नाही. याजकाजवळ तुम्हाला शिकविण्यासारखे काहीच नसेल. वडीलधारी मंडळी (नेते) तुम्हाला योग्य सल्ला देणार नाहीत.
27The king doth become a mourner, And a prince putteth on desolation, And the hands of the people of the land are troubled, From their own way I deal with them, And with their own judgments I judge them, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!`
27तुमचा राजा मृतांसाठी रडत असेल. नेते शोकप्रदर्शक कपडे घालतील. सामान्य लोकांची घाबरगुंडी उडेल. का? कारण त्यांच्या कर्मांचे फळ मी त्यांना देईने. मी त्यांची शिक्षा ठरवीन, आणि ती अंमलात आणीन. मगच त्या लोकांना मीच परमेश्वर असल्याचे कळून येईल.”
