1Lo, for righteousness doth a king reign, As to princes, for judgment they rule.
1मी सांगतो ते ऐका सगळीकडे चांगुलपणा नांदावा अशा तऱ्हेने राजाने राज्य करावे. नेत्यांनी लोकांना मार्गदर्शन करताना न्याय निर्णय घ्यावेत.
2And each hath been as a hiding-place [from] wind, And as a secret hiding-place [from] inundation, As rivulets of waters in a dry place, As a shadow of a heavy rock in a weary land.
2असे जर झाले तर वारा व पाऊस ह्यापासून बचाव करण्यासाठी जसा अडोसा असतो तसा राजा निवाऱ्याची जागा होईल. वाळवंटातील झऱ्याप्रमाणे अथवा उष्ण प्रदेशातील मोठ्या खडकाखालील सावलीसारखा लोकांना तो वाटेल.
3And not dazzled are the eyes of beholders, And the ears of hearers do attend.
3लोक मदतीसाठी त्याच्याकडे धाव घेतील व त्याचे म्हणणे ते खरोखरच ऐकतील.
4And the heart of those hastened Understandeth to know, And the tongue of stammerers hasteth to speak clearly.
4आता जे लोक गोंधळलेले आहेत त्यांना त्या वेळी सर्व समजून येईल. आता स्पष्ट बोलू न शकणारे लोक त्या वेळी स्पष्टपणे व लवकर बोलतील.
5A fool is no more called `noble,` And to a miser it is not said, `rich;`
5दुष्ट आणि अनीतीमान लोकांना कोणी थोर म्हणणार नाही. जे लोक गुप्त योजना करतात त्यांना लोक मान देणार नाहीत.
6For a fool speaketh folly, And his heart doth iniquity, to do profanity, And to speak concerning Jehovah error, To empty the soul of the hungry, Yea, drink of the thirsty he causeth to lack.
6मूर्ख माणूस मूर्खपणाच्या गोष्टी सांगतो आणि मनात वाईट गोष्टींचे बेत आखतो. त्याला चुकीच्याच गोष्टी करायच्या असतात. तो परमेश्वराबद्दल वाईटसाईट बोलतो. तो भुकेलेल्यांना अन्न खाऊ देत नाही. तहानेलेल्यांना पाणी पिऊ देत नाही.
7And the miser — his instruments [are] evil, He hath counselled wicked devices, To corrupt the poor with lying sayings, Even when the needy speaketh justly.
7तो मूर्ख दुष्टपणाचा उपयोग हत्यारासारखा करतो. गरीबांना लुबाडण्याच्या योजना तो करतो. तो गरीबांबद्दल खोटेनाटे सांगतो आणि ह्यामुळे गरीब न्यायापासून वंचित होतात.
8And the noble counselled noble things, And he for noble things riseth up.
8परंतु भला नेता चांगल्या गोष्टींच्या योजना आखतो आणि ह्या चांगल्या गोष्टीच त्याला भला नेता बनवितात.
9Women, easy ones, rise, hear my voice, Daughters, confident ones, give ear [to] my saying,
9तुम्ही काही स्त्रिया आता शांत आहात. तुम्हाला आता सुरक्षित वाटते आहे. पण तुम्ही जरा उभे राहून माझे म्हणणे ऐकावे.
10Days and a year ye are troubled, O confident ones, For consumed hath been harvest, The gathering cometh not.
10आता तुम्हाला सुरक्षित वाटते पण आणखी एक वर्षाने तुम्ही अडचणीत याल. का? कारण तुम्ही पुढच्या वर्षी द्राक्षे गोळा करू शकणार नाही. पुढच्या वर्षी द्राक्षाचे पीक येणार नाही.
11Tremble ye women, ye easy ones, Be troubled, ye confident ones, Strip and make bare, with a girdle on the loins,
11स्त्रियांनो, आता तुम्ही शांत आहात पण तुम्हाला भिती वाटली पाहिजे. आता तुम्हाला सुरक्षित वाटते, पण तुम्ही चिंता केली पाहिजे. तुमची चांगली वस्त्रे काढा आणि शोकप्रदर्शक कपडे घाला. ते कपडे तुमच्या कमरेभोवती गुंडाळा.
12For breasts they are lamenting, For fields of desire, for the fruitful vine.
12दु:खाने भरलेल्या छातीवर शोकप्रदर्शक कपडे चढवा. रडा! कारण तुमची शेते उजाड झाली आहेत. तुम्हाला द्राक्षे देणारे तुमचे द्राक्षमळे ओस पडले आहेत.
13Over the ground of my people thorn — brier goeth up, Surely over all houses of joy of the exulting city,
13माझ्या लोकांच्या भूमीसाठी शोक करा. कारण तेथे फक्त काटेकुटे आणि तण माजतील. एकेकाळी आनंदाने भरलेल्या शहरासाठी व हर्षभरित घरांसाठी आता शोक करा.
14Surely the palace hath been left, The multitude of the city forsaken, Fort and watch-tower hath been for dens unto the age, A joy of wild asses — a pasture of herds;
14लोक राजधानी सोडून जातील. राजवाडा व बुरूज रिकामी पडतील. लोक घरांत न राहता गुहेत राहतील. रानगाढवे व मेंढ्या शहरात राहतील. जनावरे गवत खाव्यास तेथे जातील.
15Till emptied out on us is the Spirit from on high, And a wilderness hath become a fruitful field, And the fruitful field for a forest is reckoned.

16And dwelt in the wilderness hath judgment, And righteousness in the fruitful field remaineth.

17And a work of the righteousness hath been peace, And a service of the righteousness — Keeping quiet and confidence unto the age.
17तो चांगलुपणा कायमची शांती आणि सुरक्षितता आणील.
18And dwelt hath My people in a peaceful habitation, And in stedfast tabernacles, And in quiet resting-places.
18माझे लोक शांतीच्या सुंदर मळ्यात राहतील. माझी माणसे सुरक्षिततेच्या तंबूत राहतील. ते निवांत आणि शांत जागी राहतील.
19And it hath hailed in the going down of the forest, And in the valley is the city low.
19पण ह्या गोष्टी घडण्यापूर्वी जंगल उजाड झालेच पाहिजे, शहराचा पाडाव झाला पाहिजे.
20Happy [are] ye sowing by all waters, Sending forth the foot of the ox and the ass!
20तुम्ही काहीजण प्रत्येक झऱ्याकाठी बी पेरा. तुमच्या गुरांना आणि गाढवंाना मोकळे सोडा. व तेथे चरू द्या. तुम्ही लोक खूप सुखी व्हाल.
