1Give ye thanks to Jehovah — call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.
1परमेश्वराला धन्यावाद द्या. त्याच्या नावाचा धावा करा. राष्ट्रांना तो करत असलेल्या अद्भुत गोष्टींबद्दल सांगा.
2Sing ye to Him — sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.
2परमेश्वराला गाणे गा. त्याची स्तुतिगीते गा. तो ज्या अद्भुत गोष्टी करतो त्याबद्दल सांगा.
3Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.
3परमेश्वराच्या पवित्र नावाचा अभिमान बाळगा. तुम्ही लोक परमेश्वराला शोधत आला, सुखी व्हा.
4Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.
4शक्तीसाठी परमेश्वराकडे जा. मदतीसाठी नेहमी त्याच्याकडे जा.
5Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.
5तो ज्या आश्चर्यकारक गोष्टी करतो त्याची आठवण ठेवा त्याचे चमत्कार आणि त्याचे शहाणपणाचे निर्णय याची आठवण ठेवा.
6O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
6तुम्ही त्याचा सेवक अब्राहाम याचे वंशज आहात. तुम्ही याकोबाचे, देवाने निवडलेल्या माणसाचे वंशज आहात.
7He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
7परमेश्वर आपला देव आहे. परमेश्वर सर्व जगावर राज्य करतो.
8He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,
8परमेश्वर देवाच्या कराराची सदैव आठवण ठेवा. हजारो पिढ्या त्याच्या आज्ञांची आठवण ठेवा.
9That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
9देवाने अब्राहाम बरोबर करार केला. देवाने इसहाकला वचन दिले.
10And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during,
10नंतर त्याने याकोबासाठी नियम केला. देवाने इस्राएल बरोबर करार केला. तो सदैव राहील.
11Saying, `To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,`
11देव म्हणाला, “मी तुला कनानची जमीन देईन. ती जमीन तुझ्या मालकीची होईल.”
12In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.
12अब्राहामचे कुटुंब लहान होते, तेव्हा देवाने हे वचन दिले. ते केवळ काही वेळ तिथे घालवणारे परके लोक होते.
13And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.
13ते एका राष्ट्रातून दुसऱ्या राष्ट्रात, एका राज्यातून दुसऱ्या राज्यात प्रवास करत होते.
14He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.
14पण देवाने लोकांना त्यांना वाईट वागणूक देऊ दिली नाही. देवाने राजांना त्यांना दु:ख न देण्याची ताकीद दिली.
15`Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.`
15देव म्हणाला, “मी निवडलेल्या माणसांना दु:ख देऊ नका. माझ्या संदेष्ट्यांचे काही वाईट करु नका.”
16And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.
16देवाने त्या देशात दुष्काळ आणला. लोकांना खायला पुरेसे अन्न नव्हते.
17He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.
17पण देवाने योसेफ नावाच्या माणसाला त्यांच्या पुढे पाठवले. योसेफ गुलाम सारखा विकला गेला.
18They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,
18त्यांनी योसेफाच्या पायाला दोर बांधले. त्यांनी त्याच्या मानेभोवती लोखंडी कडे घातले.
19Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.
19योसेफाने सांगितलेल्या गोष्टी प्रत्यक्ष घडेपर्यंत तो गुलामच राहिला. परमेश्वराच्या संदेशामुळे योसेफ बरोबर होता हे सिध्द झाले.
20The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.
20तेव्हा मिसरच्या राजाने त्याला मोकळे सोडले. राष्ट्रांच्या प्रमुखाने त्याला तुंरुंगातून बाहेर काढले.
21He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.
21त्याने योसेफला आपल्या घराचा मुख्य नेमले. योसेफने त्याच्या मालकीच्या सर्व वस्तूंची काळजी घेतली.
22To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.
22योसेफने इतर प्रमुखांना सूचना दिल्या. योसेफने वृध्दांना शिकवले.
23And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.
23नंतर इस्राएल मिसरमध्ये आला. याकोब हामच्या देशातच राहिला.
24And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.
24याकोबाचे कुटुंब खूप मोठे झाले. ते त्यांच्या शत्रूंपेक्षा खूप बलवान झाले.
25He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.
25म्हणून मिसरचे लोक याकोबाच्या कुटुंबाचा द्वेष करु लागले. त्यांनी त्याच्या गुलामांविरुध्द योजना आखल्या.
26He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.
26म्हणून देवाने त्याचा सेवक मोशे आणि देवाने निवडलेला त्याचा याजक अहरोन यांना पाठविले.
27They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
27देवाने मोशे आणि अहरोन यांचा हामच्या देशात अनेक चमत्कार करण्यात उपयोग करुन घेतला.
28He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.
28देवाने अतिशय दाट काळोख पाठवला, पण मिसरमधल्या लोकांनी त्याचे ऐकले नाही.
29He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.
29म्हणून देवाने पाण्याचे रक्तात रुपांतर केले आणि सगळे मासे मेले.
30Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.
30त्यांचा देश बेडकांनी भरुन गेला. राजाच्या शयनकक्षात देखील बेडूक होते.
31He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.
31देवाने आज्ञा केली आणि माशा व चिलटे आली. ती सगळीकडे होती.
32He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.
32देवाने पावसाचे गारात रुपांतर केले. सर्व देशांत विजा पडल्या.
33And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.
33देवाने त्यांच्या द्राक्षांच्या वेली व अंजीराची झाडे नष्ट केली. देवाने त्यांच्या देशातले प्रत्येक झाड नष्ट केले.
34He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm — innumerable,
34देवाने आज्ञा केली आणि टोळ व नाकतोडे आले. ते संख्येने इतके होते की ते मोजता येत नव्हते.
35And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.
35टोळ व नाकतोड्यांनी देशातली सर्व झाडे खाऊन टाकली. त्यांनी शेतातली सर्व पिके खाल्ली.
36And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,
36आणि नंतर देवाने त्यांच्या देशातल्या सर्व पहिल्या अपत्यांना ठार मारले. देवाने त्यांच्या मोठ्या मुलांना मारले.
37And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.
37नंतर देवाने त्यांच्या माणसांना मिसरबाहेर काढले. त्यांनी बरोबर सोने आणि चांदी आणली. देवाचा कुठलाही माणूस ठेच लागून पडला नाही.
38Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.
38देवाचे लोक गेल्याचे पाहून मिसरला आनंद झाला. कारण त्यांना देवाच्या लोकांची भीती वाटत होती.
39He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.
39देवाने ढग पांघरुणासारखे पसरले. देवाने अग्रिच्या खांबाचा रात्री प्रकाशासाठी उपयोग केला.
40They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.
40लोकांनी अन्नाची मागणी केली आणि देवाने लावे आणले. देवाने त्यांना स्वर्गातली भाकरी भरपूर दिली.
41He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places — a river.
41देवाने खडक फोडला आणि त्यातून पाणी उसळून बाहेर आले. वाळवटांत नदी वाहू लागली.
42For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,
42देवाला त्याच्या पवित्र वचनाची आठवण होती. देवाला त्याचा सेवक अब्राहाम याला दिलेल्या वचनाची आठवण आली.
43And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.
43देवाने त्याच्या माणसांना मिसरमधून बाहेर आणले. लोक आनंदाने नाचत बागडत, गाणी म्हणत बाहेर आले.
44And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,
44देवाने त्याच्या माणसांना इतर लोक राहात असलेला देश दिला. देवाच्या माणसांना इतरांनी काम करुन मिळवलेल्या वस्तू मिळाल्या.
45That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
45देवाने असे का केले? त्याच्या माणसांनी त्याचे नियम पाळावे म्हणून त्यांनी त्याची शिकवण काळजीपूर्वक आचरावी म्हणून, परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
