1A Psalm of David. The affirmation of Jehovah to my Lord: `Sit at My right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.`
1परमेश्वर माझ्या प्रभुला म्हणाला, “मी तुझ्या शत्रूंना तुझ्या नियंत्रणाखाली ठेवीन. माझ्याजवळ माझ्या उजव्या बाजूला बस.”
2The rod of thy strength doth Jehovah send from Zion, Rule in the midst of thine enemies.
2परमेश्वर तुझे राज्य वाढवायला मदत करेल. तुझे राज्य सियोनपाशी सुरु होईल आणि ते तू तुझ्या शत्रूंवर त्यांच्या देशात जाऊन राज्य करशील.
3Thy people [are] free-will gifts in the day of Thy strength, in the honours of holiness, From the womb, from the morning, Thou hast the dew of thy youth.
3तू तुझ्या सैन्याची जमावाजमव करशील त्यावेळी तुझे लोक स्वयंसेवक बनून दाखल होतील. त्यांचा खास पोशाख परिधान करतील आणि भल्या पहाटे एकत्र जमतील. हे तरुण लोक जमिनीवर जसे दव पडते त्याप्रमाणे तुझ्याभोवती असतील.
4Jehovah hath sworn, and doth not repent, `Thou [art] a priest to the age, According to the order of Melchizedek.`
4परमेश्वराने वचन दिले आहे आणि आता तो त्याचे मन बदलणार नाही. “तू सदैव याजक राहिला आहेस मलकिसदेक होता तसा याजक तू आहेस.”
5The Lord on thy right hand smote kings In the day of His anger.
5माझा प्रभु तुझ्या उजव्या बाजूला आहे. तो रागावेल तेव्हा इतर सर्व राजांचा पराभव करील.
6He doth judge among the nations, He hath completed the carcases, Hath smitten the head over the mighty earth.
6देव सर्व राष्ट्रांचा न्यायनिवाडा करील. सर्व जमीन प्रेतांनी झाकली जाईल आणि बलवान राष्ट्रांच्या नेत्यांना देव शिक्षा करील.
7From a brook in the way he drinketh, Therefore he doth lift up the head!
7राजा वाटेत झऱ्याचे पाणी पितो. तो खरोखरच त्याचे मस्तक उचलेल आणि अतिशय सामर्थ्यवान होईल.
