¹Why have nations tumultuously assembled? And do peoples meditate vanity?

¹इतर राष्ट्रांचे लोक इतके का रागावले आहेत? ती राष्ट्रे अशा मूर्खासारख्या योजना का आखीत आहेत?

²Station themselves do kings of the earth, And princes have been united together, Against Jehovah, and against His Messiah:

²त्यांचे राजे आणि पुढारी एकत्र येऊन परमेश्वराशी आणि त्याने निवडलेल्या राजांशी भांडले.

³`Let us draw off Their cords, And cast from us Their thick bands.`

³ते पुढारी म्हणाले, “आपण देवाविरुध्द आणि त्याने निवडलेल्या राजाविरुदध्द उभे राहू आपण त्यांच्यापासून स्वतंत्र होऊ.”

⁴He who is sitting in the heavens doth laugh, The Lord doth mock at them.

⁴परंतु माझे स्वामी स्वर्गातील राजा त्या लोकांना हसतो.

⁵Then doth He speak unto them in His anger, And in His wrath He doth trouble them:

⁷I declare concerning a statute: Jehovah said unto me, `My Son Thou [art], I to-day have brought thee forth.

⁷आता मी तुम्हाला परमेश्वरराच्या कराराविषयी सांगतो परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, “आज मी तुझा बाप झालो! आणि तू माझा मुलगा झालास.

⁸Ask of Me and I give nations — thy inheritance, And thy possession — the ends of earth.

⁸जर तू विचारले तर मी तुला राष्ट्रे देईन या पृथ्वीवरची सगळी माणसे तुझी होतील.

⁹Thou dost rule them with a sceptre of iron, As a vessel of a potter Thou dost crush them.`

⁹लोखंडाची कांब जशी मातीच्या भांड्याचा नाश करते तसा तू त्या राष्ट्रांचा नाश करू सकशील.”

¹⁰And now, O kings, act wisely, Be instructed, O judges of earth,

¹⁰म्हणून राजांनो तुम्ही शहाणे व्हा राज्यकर्त्यांनो हा धडा शिका.

¹¹Serve ye Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.

¹¹परमेश्वराच्या आज्ञांचे भीतीयुक्त पालन करा.

¹²Kiss the Chosen One, lest He be angry, And ye lose the way, When His anger burneth but a little, O the happiness of all trusting in Him!

¹²तुम्ही देवपुत्रासी प्रामाणिक आहात हे दाखवा. तुम्ही जर असे केले नाही तर तो रागावेल आणि तुमचा नाश करेल जे परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवतात ते सुखी असतात. पण इतरांनी मात्र सावधगिरी बाळगली पाहिजे. तो आता आपला राग प्रकट करण्याच्या बेतात आहे.
