1A Psalm of David, `To cause to remember.` Jehovah, in Thy wrath reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.
1परमेश्वरा, तू माझ्यावर टीका करतोस तेव्हा रागावू नकोस तू मला वळण लावतोस तेव्हा क्रोधित होऊ नकोस.
2For Thine arrows have come down on me, And Thou lettest down upon me Thy hand.
2परमेश्वरा, तू मला इजा केलीस तुझे बाण माझ्या शरीरात खोलवर रुतले आहेत.
3Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Thine indignation, Peace is not in my bones because of my sin.
3तू मला शिक्षा केलीस. आता माझे सर्व शरीर दुखत आहे. मी पाप केले आणि तू मला शिक्षा केलीस. त्यामुळे माझी सर्व हाडे दुखत आहेत.
4For mine iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden — too heavy for me.
4मी दुष्कृत्य करण्याचा अपराध केला आहे आणि तो अपराध माझ्या खांद्यावर खूप मोठे ओझे असल्यासारखा आहे.
5Stunk — become corrupt have my wounds, Because of my folly.
5मी मूर्खपणा केला आता मला दुर्गंधीयुक्त जखमांनी पछाडले आहे.
6I have been bent down, I have been bowed down — unto excess, All the day I have gone mourning.
6मी धनुष्यासारखा वाकलो आहे आणि मी दिवसभर उदास असतो.
7For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.
7मला ताप आला आहे आणि माझे सर्वशरीर दुखत आहे.
8I have been feeble and smitten — unto excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.
8मी फार अशक्त झालो आहे मी वेदनांमुळे कण्हत आहे आणि ओरडत आहे.
9Lord, before Thee [is] all my desire, And my sighing from Thee hath not been hid.
9प्रभु तू माझे ओरडणे ऐकलेस माझे उसासे तुझ्यापासून लपून राहिले नाहीत.
10My heart [is] panting, my power hath forsaken me, And the light of mine eyes, Even they are not with me.
10माझे हृदय धडधडत आहे. माझी शक्ती निघून गेली आहे आणि माझी दृष्टीही जवळ जवळ गेलेली आहे.
11My lovers and my friends over-against my plague stand. And my neighbours afar off have stood.
11माझ्या आजारपणामुळे माझे मित्र आणि शेजारी मला भेटायला येत नाहीत. माझे मित्र आप्तही माझ्याजवळ येत नाहीत.
12And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they do deceits meditate all the day.
12माझे शत्रू माझ्याविषयी वाईट बोलतात. ते असत्य आणि अफवा पसरवीत आहेत. ते सदैव माझ्याबद्दलच बोलत असतात.
13And I, as deaf, hear not. And as a dumb one who openeth not his mouth.
13परंतु मी काहीही ऐकू न येणाऱ्या बहिऱ्यामाणसासारखा आहे. मी बोलू न शकणाऱ्या मुक्यामाणसासारखा आहे.
14Yea, I am as a man who heareth not, And in his mouth are no reproofs.
14लोक ज्याच्याबद्दल वाईल बोलतात परंतु त्याला मात्र ते ऐकू येत नाही अशा माणसासारखा मी आहे. मी वादविवाद करुन माझे शत्रू चूक आहेत हे सिध्द करु शकत नाही.
15Because for Thee, O Jehovah, I have waited, Thou dost answer, O Lord my God.
15म्हणून परमेश्वरा तू माझा बचाव कर. देवा, तूच माझ्यावतीने बोल.
16When I said, `Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot against me they magnified themselves.
16मी जर काही बोललो तर माझे शत्रू मला हसतील. मी आजारी आहे हे ते बघतील आणि मला चुकाकेल्याची शिक्षा मिळत आहे असे म्हणतील.
17For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] before me continually.
17मी चूक केल्याबद्दल अपराधी आहे. हे मला माहीत आहे मला माझे दु:ख विसरता येत नाही.
18For mine iniquity I declare, I am sorry for my sin.
18परमेश्वरा, मी ज्या वाईट गोष्टी केल्या त्याबद्दल तुला सांगितले. मला माझ्या दुष्कर्माबद्दल दु:ख होत आहे.
19And mine enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.
19माझे शत्रू जिंवत आहेत व निरोगी आहेत आणि त्यांनी (माझ्याबद्दल) बरेच खोटेनाटे सांगितले आहे.
20And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.
20माझे शत्रू माझ्याविरुध्द वाईट गोष्टी करतात आणि मी मात्र त्यांच्यासाठी चांगल्या गोष्टी केल्या. मी केवळ सत्कर्म करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला परंतु ते लोक माझ्यावर उलटले.
21Do not forsake me, O Jehovah, My God, be not far from me,
21परमेश्वरा, मला सोडू नकोस. देवा माझ्याजवळ राहा.
22Haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
22लवकर ये आणि मला मदत कर. माझ्या देवा मला वाचव!
