1A Psalm of Asaph. The God of gods — Jehovah — hath spoken, And He calleth to the earth From the rising of the sun unto its going in.
1परमेश्वर, देवांचा देव बोलला आहे. तो पृथ्वीवरील पूर्व पाश्चिमे कडील सर्व लोकांना बोलावतो.
2From Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shone.
2सियोन पर्वतावरुन चमकत असलेला देव सुंदर आहे.
3Our God cometh, and is not silent, Fire before Him doth devour, And round about him it hath been very tempestuous.
3आमचा देव येत आहे आणि तो गप्प राहाणार नाही. त्याच्यासमोर आग लागली आहे. त्याच्याभोवती वादळ घोंगावत आहे.
4He doth call unto the heavens from above, And unto the earth, to judge His people.
4आमचा देव पृथ्वीला आणि आकाशाला त्याच्या माणसांचा निवाडा करण्यासाठी बोलावतो.
5Gather ye to Me My saints, Making covenant with Me over a sacrifice.
5देव म्हणतो, “माझ्या भक्तांनो माझ्याभोवती गोळा व्हा. माझ्या उपासकांनो, या आपण एकमेकाशी करार केला आहे.”
6And the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself [is] judge. Selah.
6देव न्यायाधीश आहे आणि आकाश त्याच्या चांगुलपणा विषयी सांगत असते.
7Hear, O My people, and I speak, O Israel, and I testify against thee, God, thy God [am] I.
7देव म्हणतो, “माझ्या लोकांने माझे ऐका! इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो मी तुमच्या विरुध्द माझा पुरावा देईन. मी देव आहे. तुमचा देव आहे.
8Not for thy sacrifices do I reprove thee, Yea, thy burnt-offerings [Are] before Me continually.
8मी तुमच्या होमबलीं बद्दल तक्रार करीत नाही. इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो, तुम्ही तुमची होमार्पणे माझ्याकडे केव्हाही आणा. तुम्ही मला ती रोज द्या.
9I take not from thy house a bullock, From thy folds he goats.
9मी तुमच्या घरातून बैल घेणार नाही. मी तुमच्या गोठ्यातून बकऱ्या घेणार नाही.
10For Mine [is] every beast of the forest, The cattle on the hills of oxen.
10मला त्या प्राण्यांची गरज नाही. जंगलातले सगळे प्राणी आधीच माझ्या मालकीचे आहेत हजारो पर्वातावरील सगळे प्राणी माझ्याच मालकीचे आहेत.
11I have known every fowl of the mountains, And the wild beast of the field [is] with Me.
11उंच पर्वतावरील प्रत्येक पक्षी मला माहीत आहे डोंगरावर हलणारी प्रत्येक वस्तू माझ्या मालकीची आहे.
12If I am hungry I tell not to thee, For Mine [is] the world and its fulness.
12मी भुकेला नाही मी जरी भुकेला असतो तरी तुमच्याकडे अन्न मागितले नसते. मी जगाचा मालक आहे आणि जगातील प्रत्येक वस्तू माझ्या मालकीची आहे.
13Do I eat the flesh of bulls, And drink the blood of he-goats?
13मी बैलाचे मांस खात नाही. मी बकऱ्यांचे रक्त पीत नाही.”
14Sacrifice to God confession, And complete to the Most High thy vows.
14म्हणून तुमचे कृतज्ञता उपहार आणा आणि देवाबरोबर असण्यासाठी या तुम्ही सर्वशक्तिमान देवाला वचने दिली. तेव्हा आता कबूल केलेल्या वस्तू त्याला द्या.
15And call Me in a day of adversity, I deliver thee, and thou honourest Me.
15देव म्हणतो, “इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनो, तुम्ही संकटात असाल तेव्हा माझी प्रार्थना करा. मी तुम्हाला मदत करीन. आणि नंतर तुम्ही मला मान देऊ शकाल.”
16And to the wicked hath God said: What to thee — to recount My statutes? That thou liftest up My covenant on thy mouth?
16देव दुष्ट लोकांना म्हणतो, “तुम्ही लोक माझ्या कायद्यांबद्दल बोलता. तुम्ही माझ्या कराराबद्दल बोलता.
17Yea, thou hast hated instruction, And dost cast My words behind thee.
17मी तुम्हाला योग्य ते बोला असे सांगतो तेव्हा तुम्ही त्याचा तिरस्कार का करता? मी सांगितलेल्या गोष्टींकडे तुम्ही दुर्लक्ष का करता?
18If thou hast seen a thief, Then thou art pleased with him, And with adulterers [is] thy portion.
18तुम्ही चोराला बघता आणि त्याच्याबरोबर राहाण्यासाठी तुम्ही पळत सुटता. तुम्ही व्यभिचार करणाऱ्या लोकांबरोबर झोपता.
19Thy mouth thou hast sent forth with evil, And thy tongue joineth deceit together,
19तुम्ही वाईट गोष्टी सांगता आणि खोटे बोलता.
20Thou sittest, against thy brother thou speakest, Against a son of thy mother givest slander.
20तुम्ही इतरांविषयी सतत वाईट बोलता. स्व:तच्या भावाविषय़ी सुध्दा!
21These thou didst, and I kept silent, Thou hast thought that I am like thee, I reprove thee, and set in array before thine eyes.
21तुम्ही वाईट गोष्टी करता आणि तरीही मी गप्प बसावे असे तुम्हाला वाटते तुम्ही काही बोलत नाही. आणि मी ही गप्प राहावे असे तुम्हाला वाटते. पण मी मुळीच गप्प बसणार नाही. मी हे तुम्हाला स्वच्छ सांगेन आणि तुमच्या तोंडावर टीका करीन.
22Understand this, I pray you, Ye who are forgetting God, Lest I tear, and there is no deliverer.
22तुम्ही लोक देवाला विसरला आहात. मी तुम्हाला फाडून टाकण्यापूर्वीच तुम्ही हे सारे लक्षात घ्या जर तसे घडले तर तुम्हाला कोणीही वाचवू शकणार नाही.
23He who is sacrificing praise honoureth Me, As to him who maketh a way, I cause him to look on the salvation of God!
23म्हणून जर एखाद्याने कृतज्ञता पूर्वक होमार्पण केले तर तो खरोखरच मला मान देतो. जर एखद्या माणसाने त्याचे आयुष्य बदलले आणि तो चांगले वागू लागला तर मी त्याला देवाच्या रक्षणाची शक्ती दाखवेन.”
