¹To the Overseer. — `On the Gittith By sons of Korah.` — A Psalm. How beloved Thy tabernacles, Jehovah of Hosts!

¹सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वरा, तुझे मंदिर खरोखरच सुंदर आहे.

²My soul desired, yea, it hath also been consumed, For the courts of Jehovah, My heart and my flesh cry aloud unto the living God,

²परमेश्वरा, मला वाट पाहाण्याचा मनस्वी कंटाळा आला आहे. मला तुझ्या मंदिरात यायचे आहे. माझ्यातला कण कण जिवंत देवाजवळ जायला उत्सुक आहे.

³(Even a sparrow hath found a house, And a swallow a nest for herself, Where she hath placed her brood,) Thine altars, O Jehovah of Hosts, My king and my God.

³सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वरा, माझ्या राजा, माझ्या देवा, चिमण्यांना आणि पाकोळ्यांना देखील घरे असतात. ते पक्षी तुझ्या सिंहासनाजवळ त्यांचे घरटे बांधतात आणि तिथे त्यांना पिल्ले होतात.

⁴O the happiness of those inhabiting Thy house, Yet do they praise Thee. Selah.

⁴तुझ्या मंदिरात राहाणारे लोक खूप सुखी असतात. ते नेहमी तुझी स्तुती करतात.

⁵O the happiness of a man whose strength is in Thee, Highways [are] in their heart.

⁵जे लोक तुला त्यांच्या शक्तीचा स्त्रोत मानतात ते खूप सुखी असतात, ते तुला त्यांचे नेतृत्व करु देतात.

⁶Those passing through a valley of weeping, A fountain do make it, Blessings also cover the director.

⁶ते बाका दरीतून जातात तेव्हा देव तिला झऱ्याचे शिशिरातल्या पावसाने निर्माण केलेल्या जलाशयांचे स्वरुप देतो.

⁷They go from strength unto strength, He appeareth unto God in Zion.

⁷लोक देवाला भेटण्यासाठी सियोनाला जाताना एका शहरातून दुसऱ्या शहरात जातात.

⁸O Jehovah, God of Hosts, hear my prayer, Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.

⁸सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वरा, माझी प्रार्थना ऐक याकोबाच्या देवा, माझे ऐक.

⁹Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Thine anointed,

⁹देवा, आमच्या रक्षणकर्त्याचे रक्षण कर. तू निवडलेल्या राजाला दया दाखव.

¹⁰For good [is] a day in Thy courts, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.

¹⁰तुझ्या मंदिरातला एक दिवस इतर ठिकाणच्या हजार दिवसांपेक्षा चांगला आहे. माझ्या देवाच्या प्रवेशद्वारापाशी उभे राहाणे हे वाईट माणसाच्या घरात राहाण्यापेक्षा चांगले आहे.

¹¹For a sun and a shield [is] Jehovah God, Grace and honour doth Jehovah give. He withholdeth not good To those walking in uprightness.

¹¹परमेश्वर आमचा रक्षणकर्ता आणि आमचा गौरवशाली राजा आहे. देव आम्हाला दयेचा आणि गौरवाचा आशीर्वाद देतो जे लोक परमेश्वराची प्रार्थना करतात आणि त्याचे ऐकतात त्यांना परमेश्वर प्रत्येक चांगली गोष्ट देतो.

¹²Jehovah of Hosts! O the happiness of a man trusting in Thee.
