¹In the beginning of God`s preparing the heavens and the earth —

¹အစအဦး၌ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကောင်းကင်နှင့် မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူ၏။

²the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness [is] on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters,

²မြေကြီးသည်အဆင်းသဏ္ဍာန်မရှိ၊ လွတ်လပ်လ ဟာဖြစ်၏။ နက်နဲရာအရပ်ကို မှောင်မိုက်ဖုံးလွှမ်း၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် ရေမျက်နှာပြင်ပေါ်မှာ လှုပ်ရှားတော်မူ၏။

³and God saith, `Let light be;` and light is.

³ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း လင်းဖြစ်စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၍ အလင်းဖြစ်လေ၏။

⁴And God seeth the light that [it is] good, and God separateth between the light and the darkness,

⁴ထိုအလင်းကောင်းသည်ကို ဘုရားသခင်မြင်၍၊ အလင်းနှင့် မှောင်မိုက်ကိုပိုင်ခြားခွဲထားတော်မူ၏။

⁵and God calleth to the light `Day,` and to the darkness He hath called `Night;` and there is an evening, and there is a morning — day one.

⁵အလင်းကို နေ့ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ မှောင်မိုက်ကို ညဉ့်ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ခေါ်ဝေါ်သမုတ် တော်မူ၍ ညဦးနှင့် နံနက်သည် ပဌမနေ့ရက်ဖြစ်လေ၏။

⁶And God saith, `Let an expanse be in the midst of the waters, and let it be separating between waters and waters.`

⁶တဖန်ဘုရားသခင်က ရေအလယ်၌ မိုဃ်းမျက်နှာကြက်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ရေနှင့်ရေချင်းခြားနားစေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိသဖြင့်၊

⁷And God maketh the expanse, and it separateth between the waters which [are] under the expanse, and the waters which [are] above the expanse: and it is so.

⁷မိုဃ်းမျက်နှာကြက်ကို ဘုရားသခင် ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူ၍၊ မိုဃ်းမျက်နှာကြက်အောက်၌ရှိသောရေနှင့်၊ မိုဃ်းမျက်နှာကြက်အပေါ်၌ရှိသောရေကို ပိုင်းခြားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်းဖြစ်လေ၏။

⁸And God calleth to the expanse `Heavens;` and there is an evening, and there is a morning — day second.

⁸မိုဃ်းမျက်နှာကြက်ကိုလည်း မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်ခေါ်ဝေါ် သမုတ်တော် မူ၍၊ ညဦးနှင့် နံနက်သည် ဒုတိယနေ့ရက်ဖြစ်လေ၏။

⁹And God saith, `Let the waters under the heavens be collected unto one place, and let the dry land be seen:` and it is so.

⁹တဖန်ဘုရားသခင်က မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်အောက်၌ရှိသော ရေစုဝေးစေ၊ ကုန်းပေါ်စေဟု အမိန့်တော် ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ်လေ၏။

¹⁰And God calleth to the dry land `Earth,` and to the collection of the waters He hath called `Seas;` and God seeth that [it is] good.

¹⁰ကုန်းကိုမြေဟူသော အမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ရေစုဝေးရာကို ပင်လယ်ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် ခေါ်ဝေါ်သမုတ်တော်မူ၍ ထိုအမှုအရာကောင်းသည်ကို ဘုရားသခင်မြင်တော်မူ၏။

¹¹And God saith, `Let the earth yield tender grass, herb sowing seed, fruit-tree (whose seed [is] in itself) making fruit after its kind, on the earth:` and it is so.

¹¹တဖန် ဘုရားသခင်က၊ မြေသည် မြက်ပင်ကို၎င်း၊ စပါးသီးကို ဖြစ်စေသော စပါးပင်ကို၎င်း၊ မြေပေါ် မှာ မျိုးစေ့ပါလျက် သစ်သီးမျိုးကို ဖြစ်စေသော သစ်ပင်ကို၎င်း၊ ပေါက်စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း ဖြစ်လေ၏။

¹²And the earth bringeth forth tender grass, herb sowing seed after its kind, and tree making fruit (whose seed [is] in itself) after its kind; and God seeth that [it is] good;

¹²မြေသည်မြက်ပင်ကို၎င်း စပါးသီးမျိုးကို ဖြစ်စေသော စပါးပင်ကို၎င်း၊ မိမိ၌ မျိုးစေ့ပါလျက် သစ်သီးမျိုး ကို ဖြစ်စေသော သစ်ပင်ကို၎င်း ပေါက်စေ၏။

¹³and there is an evening, and there is a morning — day third.

¹³ထိုအမှုအရာကောင်းသည်ကို ဘုရားသခင်မြင်တော်မူ၍၊ ညဦးနှင့် နံနက်သည် တတိယနေ့ရက် ဖြစ်လေ၏။

¹⁴And God saith, `Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to make a separation between the day and the night, then they have been for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years,

¹⁴တဖန်ဘုရားသခင်က၊ နေ့နှင့်ညဉ့်ကို ပိုင်းခြားစေခြင်းငှါ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်မျက်နှာကြက်၌ အလင်းအိမ် တည်စေ၊ နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာ၊ ချိန်းချက်သောအချိန်၊ နေ့ရက် အပိုင်းအခြား၊ နှစ်အပိုင်းအခြားဘို့ဖြစ်စေ။

¹⁵and they have been for luminaries in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth:` and it is so.

¹⁵မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် မျက်နှာကြက်၌တည်၍ မြေကြီးလင်းစရာ အလင်းအိမ်ဖြစ်စေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ သည့်အတိုင်းဖြစ်လေ၏။

¹⁶And God maketh the two great luminaries, the great luminary for the rule of the day, and the small luminary — and the stars — for the rule of the night;

¹⁶ထိုသို့ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အလင်းအိမ်ကြီး နှစ်လုံးတည်းဟူသော နေ့ကိုအုပ်စိုးရသော အကြီးတလုံး၊ ညဉ့်ကို အုပ်စိုးရသော အငယ်တလုံးနှင့်တကွ ကြယ်များတို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊

¹⁷and God giveth them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth,

¹⁷မြေကြီး၌ လင်းစေခြင်းငှာ၎င်း၊ နေ့နှင်ညဉ့်ကို အုပ်စိုး၍ အလင်းနှင့်မှောင်မိုက်ကို ပိုင်းခြားစေခြင်းငှာ ၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် မျက်နှာကြက်၌ ဘုရားသခင် ထားတော်မူ၏။

¹⁸and to rule over day and over night, and to make a separation between the light and the darkness; and God seeth that [it is] good;

¹⁸ထိုအမှုအရာ ကောင်းသည်ကို ဘုရား သခင်မြင်တော်မူ၍၊

¹⁹and there is an evening, and there is a morning — day fourth.

¹⁹ညဦးနှင့် နံနက်သည် စတုတ္ထနေ့ရက် ဖြစ်လေ၏။

²⁰And God saith, `Let the waters teem with the teeming living creature, and fowl let fly on the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens.`

²⁰တဖန်ဘုရားသခင်က အသက်ရှင်၍ လှုပ်ရှားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို ရေသည်များပြားစွာ မွေးဘွား စေ။ ငှက်တို့လည်း မြေပေါ် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်မျက်နှာကြက်ပြင်ဝယ်ပျံစေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။

²¹And God prepareth the great monsters, and every living creature that is creeping, which the waters have teemed with, after their kind, and every fowl with wing, after its kind, and God seeth that [it is] good.

²¹ထိုသို့လျှင်ရေသည် တိရစ္ဆာန်အမျိုးအလိုက် များပြားစွာ မွေးသွား၍၊ ငါးကြီးအစရှိသော အသက်ရှင်၍ လှုပ်ရှားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်အပေါင်းတို့ကို၎င်း၊ ပျံတက်သော ငှက်မျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ကို၎င်း ဘုရားသခင်ဖန် ဆင်း၍၊ ထိုအမူအရာကောင်းသည်ကို မြင်တော်မူ၏။

²²And God blesseth them, saying, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and the fowl let multiply in the earth:`

²²ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း များပြားစွာ မွေးဘွားကြလော့။ ပင်လယ်ရေများကို ပြည့်စေကြလော့။ ငှက်တို့ လည်း မြေပေါ်၌ များပြားစေသတည်းဟု ထိုတိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူ၍၊

²³and there is an evening, and there is a morning — day fifth.

²³ညဦးနှင့်နံနက်သည် ပဥ္စမနေ့ရက်ဖြစ်လေ၏။

²⁴And God saith, `Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind:` and it is so.

²⁴တဖန်ဘုရားသခင်က၊ မြေသည် အသက်ရှင်သောသတ္တဝါမျိုးတည်းဟူသော သားယဉ်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ သားရဲမျိုးတို့ကို၎င်း၊ မွေးဘွားစေဟုအမိန့်တော်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ဖြစ်လေ၏။

²⁵And God maketh the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, and God seeth that [it is] good.

²⁵ထိုသို့ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သားရဲမျိုး၊ သားယဉ်မျိုး၊ မြေပေါ်မှာ တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်မျိုး အပေါင်း တို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်း၍၊ ထိုအမှုအရာကောင်းသည်ကို မြင်တော်မူ၏။

²⁶And God saith, `Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that is creeping on the earth.`

²⁶တဖန်ဘုရားသခင်က ငါတို့ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်နှင့်အညီ တသဏ္ဍန်တည်း လူကို ဖန်ဆင်းကြစို့။ သူသည် ပင်လယ်ငါးတို့ကို၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ သားယဉ်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ မြေတပြင်လုံးနှင့်တကွ၊ မြေပေါ်မှာ တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်အပေါင်းတို့ကို၎င်း၊ အုပ်စိုးစေဟု အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။

²⁷And God prepareth the man in His image; in the image of God He prepared him, a male and a female He prepared them.

²⁷ထိုသို့ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိပုံသဏ္ဍန်နှင့်အညီ လူကိုဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန် တော်နှင့်အညီ လူယောက်ျား၊ လူမိန်းမကိုဖန်ဆင်းပြီးလျှင်၊

²⁸And God blesseth them, and God saith to them, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping upon the earth.`

²⁸အချင်းတို့ များပြားစွာမွေးဘွားကြလော့။ မြေကြီးကို ပြည့်စေ၍ နိုင်ကြလော့။ ပင်လယ်ငါးတို့ကို၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ အသက်ရှင်၍ မြေပေါ်မှာ လှုပ်ရှားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်အပေါင်းတို့ကို၎င်း အုပ်စိုးကြလော့ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၍၊ သူတို့ကိုကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူ၏။

²⁹And God saith, `Lo, I have given to you every herb sowing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which [is] the fruit of a tree sowing seed, to you it is for food;

²⁹ဘုရားသခင်ကလည်း ကြည့်ရှုလော့။ မြေတပြင်လုံး၌ စပါးသီးကို ဖြစ်စေသော စပါးပင်အမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို ၎င်း၊ မျိုးစေ့ကိုဖြစ်စေသော အသီးနှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော သစ်ပင် အမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို၎င်း၊ သင်တို့ စားစရာဘို့ ငါပေး၏။

³⁰and to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeping thing on the earth, in which [is] breath of life, every green herb [is] for food:` and it is so.

³⁰မြေသား၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက်၊ အသက်ရှင်၍မြေပေါ်မှာ တွားတတ်သော တိရစ္ဆာန်မျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ စားစရာဘို့၊ မြက်ပင်အမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို ငါပေးမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်းဖြစ်လေ၏။

³¹And God seeth all that He hath done, and lo, very good; and there is an evening, and there is a morning — day the sixth.

³¹ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိဖန်ဆင်းသမျှသောအရာတို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုလျှင်၊ အလွန်ကောင်းသည်ကို မြင်တော်မူ၍၊ ညဦးနှင့် နံနက်သည် ဆဌမနေ့ရက်ဖြစ်လေ၏။
