¹`Come, and we turn back unto Jehovah, For He hath torn, and He doth heal us, He doth smite, and He bindeth us up.

¹လာကြ။ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ ပြန်ကြ ကုန်အံ့။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကိုက်ဖြတ်သော်လည်း ပကတိ ဖြစ်စေတော်မူမည်။ ဒဏ်ခတ်သော်လည်း အနာကို စည်းတော်မူမည်။

²He doth revive us after two days, In the third day He doth raise us up, And we live before Him.

²နှစ်ရက်လွန်ပြီးမှ ငါတို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေ၍၊ သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ ထမြောက်စေတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ အထံတော်၌ ငါတို့သည် အသက်ရှင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

³And we know — we pursue to know Jehovah, As the dawn prepared is His going forth, And He cometh in as a shower to us, As gathered rain — sprinkling earth.`

³ပညာကိုလည်း ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို သိခြင်းငှါ လိုက်ရှာကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို သိခြင်း ငှါ လိုက်ရှာကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထွက်တော်မူချိန်သည် နံနက် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ရွာသောမိုဃ်းနှင့် မြေအပေါ်သို့ ရွာသော နောက်မိုဃ်းကဲ့သို့ သက်ရောက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

⁴What do I do to thee, O Ephraim? What do I do to thee, O Judah? Your goodness [is] as a cloud of the morning, And as dew rising early — going.

⁴အိုဧဖရိမ်၊ သင်၌ အဘယ်သို့ ငါပြုရမည်နည်း။ အိုယုဒ၊ သင်၌ အဘယ်သို့ ငါပြုရမည်နည်း။ သင်တို့ ကြည်ညိုသော စိတ်သည် နံနက်မိုဃ်းတိမ်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ စောစောပျောက်တတ်သော နှင်းကဲ့သို့၎င်းဖြစ်၏။

⁵Therefore I have hewed by prophets, I have slain them by sayings of My mouth, And My judgments to the light goeth forth.

⁵ထိုကြောင့် သူတို့ကို ပရောဖက်များအားဖြင့် ငါသည် အပိုင်းပိုင်းခုတ်ဖြတ်ရပြီ။ ငါ့နှုတ်ထွက်စကား အားဖြင့် သတ်ရပြီ။ ငါ့စီရင်ချက်တို့သည်လည်း ထွန်းလင်း သော အလင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြပြီ။

⁶For kindness I desired, and not sacrifice, And a knowledge of God above burnt-offerings.

⁶ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်း အကျင့်ထက် သနားခြင်း ကရုဏာအကျင့်ကို၎င်း၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းထက် ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် ကျွမ်းဝင်ခြင်းကို၎င်း ငါနှစ်သက်၏။

⁷And they, as Adam, transgressed a covenant, There they dealt treacherously against me.

⁷သူတို့သည် အာဒံကဲ့သို့ ပဋိညာဉ်ကို လွန်ကျူး ကြပြီ။ နေရင်းအရပ်၌ ငါ့သစ္စာကို ဖျက်ကြပြီ။

⁸Gilead [is] a city of workers of iniquity, Slippery from blood.

⁸ဂိလဒ်မြို့သည် အဓမ္မပြုသော သူတို့နေရာ ဖြစ်၍၊ လူအသွေးနှင့် စွန်းသော ခြေရာများ၏။

⁹And as bands do wait for a man, A company of priests do murder — the way to Shechem, For wickedness they have done.

⁹ထားပြအလုံးအရင်းသည် ခရီးသွားသော သူကို ချောင်း၍ ကြည့်သကဲ့သို့၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် အပေါင်း အသင်းသည် ရှေခင်မြို့သို့သွားသော လမ်း၌ပင် အသက် ကို သတ်တတ်ကြ၏။

¹⁰In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing, There [is] the whoredom of Ephraim — defiled is Israel.

¹⁰အကယ်စင်စစ် အဓမ္မအမှုကို ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။ ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သောအမှုကို ဣသ ရေလအမျိုး၌ ငါမြင်ပြီ။ ထိုအမျိုး၌ ဧဖရိမ်သည် မှားယွင်း တတ်၏။ ဣသရေလသည် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းရှိ၏။

¹¹Also, O Judah, appointed is a harvest to thee, In My turning back [to] the captivity of My people!

¹¹ထိုမှ တပါး အိုယုဒအမျိုး၊ သိမ်းသွားသော ငါ၏လူတို့ကို ငါဆောင်ခဲ့ပြန်သောအခါ၊ စပါး ရိတ်ရာကာလသည် သင့်အဖို့ ခန့်ထားလျက်ရှိ၏။
