¹Thus said Jehovah unto me, `Go, and thou hast got for thee a girdle of linen, and hast placed it on thy loins, and into water thou dost not cause it to enter:`

¹တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် ချည်ခါးပန်း ကို သွား၍ယူပြီးလျှင် ခါး၌စည်းလော့။ ရေနှင့်မလျှော်ရ ဟု ငါ့အားမိန့်တော်မူသော စကားတော်အတိုင်း၊

²and I get the girdle, according to the word of Jehovah, and I place [it] on my loins.

²ငါသည် ခါးပန်းကိုယူ၍ ခါး၌စည်းလေ၏။

³And there is a word of Jehovah unto me a second time, saying,

³ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ဒုတိယ အကြိမ် ငါ့ဆီသို့ရောက်လျှင်၊

⁴`Take the girdle that thou hast got, that [is] on thy loins, and rise, go to Phrat, and hide it there in a hole of the rock;

⁴သင်သည် ခါး၌စည်းသော ခါးပန်းကို ယူပြီး လျှင်၊ ဥဖရတ်မြစ်သို့ ထသွား၍၊ ကျောက်တွင်း၌ ဝှက်ထား လော့ဟု၊

⁵and I go and hide it by Phrat, as Jehovah commanded me.

⁵မိန့်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ငါသည်သွား၍ ဥဖရတ်မြစ်နားမှာ ဝှက်ထား၏။

⁶And it cometh to pass, at the end of many days, that Jehovah saith unto me, `Rise, go to Phrat, and take thence the girdle, that I commanded thee to hide there;`

⁶ထိုနောက်၊ ကာလအင်တန်ကြာပြီးမှ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် ထ၍ ဥဖရတ်မြစ်သို့ သွားလော့။ ထိုမြစ်နားမှာ ငါ့အမိန့်တော်နှင့် ဝှက်ထားခဲ့ပြီးသော ခါးပန်းကိုထုတ်လော့ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁷and I go to Phrat, and dig, and take the girdle from the place where I had hid it; and lo, the girdle hath been marred, it is not profitable for anything.

⁷ငါသည်လည်း ဥဖရတ်မြစ်နားသို့ သွားပြီးလျှင်၊ ဝှက်ထားရာ အရပ်၌တူး၍ ခါးပန်းကို ထုတ်သောအခါ၊ ခါးပန်းသည် ဆွေးမြေ့၍ အသုံးမရဖြစ်၏။

⁸And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, `Thus said Jehovah:

⁸ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီ သို့ရောက်၍ မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊

⁹Thus do I mar the excellency of Judah, And the great excellency of Jerusalem.

⁹ထိုနည်းတူ၊ ယုဒပြည်၏ ထောင်လွှားခြင်းကို ငါရှုတ်ချမည်။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၏ ထောင်လွှားခြင်းကို အလွန်ရှုတ်ချမည်။

¹⁰This evil people, who refuse to hear My words, Who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, And go after other gods to serve them, And to bow themselves to them, Yea it is — as this girdle, that is not profitable for anything.

¹⁰ငါ့စကားကို နားမထောင်၊ မိမိစိတ်နှလုံးခိုင်မာ သော သဘောအတိုင်းကျင့်၍၊ အခြားတပါးသော ဘုရား တို့ကို ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်ခြင်းငှါ လိုက်သွားသော ဤလူဆိုး မျိုးသည်၊ အသုံးမရသော ဤခါးပန်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။

¹¹For, as the girdle cleaveth unto the loins of a man, So I caused to cleave unto Me The whole house of Israel, And the whole house of Judah, an affirmation of Jehovah, To be to Me for a people, and for a name, And for praise, and for beauty, And they have not hearkened.

¹¹ခါးပန်းသည် လူ၏ခါး၌မှီဝဲသကဲ့သို့၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးရှိသမျှတို့နှင့် ယုဒအမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့သည် ငါ၏ လူမျိုး၊ ဘွဲ့နာမ၊ ဘုန်းအသရေဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ၌မှီဝဲ စေသော်လည်း၊ သူတို့သည်နားမထောင်ကြဟု ထာဝရ ဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹²And thou hast said unto them this word, Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, `Every bottle is full of wine,` And they have said unto thee: `Do we not certainly know that every bottle is full of wine?`

¹²တဖန် ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သားရေဘူးရှိသမျှတို့သည် စပျစ်ရည် နှင့် ပြည့်ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူကြောင်းကို၊ သင်သည် သူတို့အားပြောလော့။ သူတို့ကလည်း၊ သားရေဘူး ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်ပြည့်ကြလိမ့်မည်အကြောင်းကို၊ ငါတို့မသိသလောဟု ပြန်ပြောကြလျှင်၊

¹³And thou hast said unto them, `Thus said Jehovah: Lo, I am filling all the inhabitants of this land, And the kings who sit for David on his throne, And the priests, and the prophets, And all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [With] drunkenness,

¹³သင်ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည် ကား၊ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီး၏ ရာဇပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်သော ရှင်ဘုရင်မှစ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၊ ပရောဖက်၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သားရှိသမျှတို့နှင့် ပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့ကို ယစ်မူးခြင်းနှင့် ငါပြည့်စေမည်။

¹⁴And have dashed them one against another, And the fathers and the sons together, An affirmation of Jehovah, I do not pity, nor spare, nor have I mercy, So as not to destroy them.

¹⁴ညီအစ်ကိုချင်း၊ သားအဘချင်းတို့ကို ငါ ထိခိုက် စေမည်။ ငါသည် ကရုဏာမရှိ၊ မနှမြော၊ မကယ်မဘဲ၊ ထိုသူတို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီးမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁵Hear, and give ear — be not haughty, For Jehovah hath spoken.

¹⁵သင်တို့သည် နားထောင်နာယူကြလော့။ ထောင် လွှားသော စိတ်မရှိကြနှင့်။ ထာဝရဘုရား အမိန့်တော် ရှိ၏။

¹⁶Give ye to Jehovah your God honour, Before He doth cause darkness, And before your feet stumble on dark mountains, And ye have waited for light, And He hath made it for death-shade, And hath appointed [it] for thick darkness.

¹⁶မိုဃ်းမချုပ်မှီ၊ မိုက်သောတောင်ပေါ်မှာ သင်တို့ သည် ထိခိုက်၍ မလဲမှီ၊ အလင်းကို မြော်လင့်သောအခါ၊ သေမင်းအရိပ်၊ ထူထပ်သော မှောင်မိုက်ကို ဖြစ်စေတော် မမူမှီ၊ သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဂုဏ်တော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြလော့။

¹⁷And if ye do not hear it, In secret places doth my soul weep, because of pride, Yea, it weepeth sore, And the tear cometh down mine eyes, For the flock of Jehovah hath been taken captive.

¹⁷သင်တို့သည် နားမထောင်ဘဲနေလျှင် မူကား၊ သင်တို့ မာနကြောင့်၊ ငါ့စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်သည် မထင်ရှားသော အရပ်၌ ငိုကြွေးမည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ သိုးစုကို သိမ်း သွားသောကြောင့်၊ ငါ့မျက်စိလည်း အလွန် ငို၍ မျက်ရည် ကျမည်။

¹⁸Say to the king and to the mistress: Make yourselves low — sit still, For come down have your principalities, The crown of your beauty.

¹⁸ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်နှိမ့်ချ၍ ထိုင်ကြလော့။ သင်တို့၌ ဘုန်းကြီးသော သရဖူသည် သင်တို့၏ ခေါင်းပေါ်မှ ဆင်းရလိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်နှင့် မိဖုရားတို့အား ပြော လော့။

¹⁹The cities of the south have been shut up, And there is none opening, Judah hath been removed — all of her, She hath been removed completely —

¹⁹တောင်ဘက် မြို့တို့ကို ပိတ်ထား၍ အဘယ် သူမျှ မဖွင့်ရ။ ယုဒပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့ကို သိမ်းသွားကြပြီ။ အကုန်အစင် သိမ်းသွားကြပြီ။

²⁰Lift up your eyes, and see those coming in from the north, Where [is] the drove given to thee, thy beautiful flock?

²⁰မြောက်မျက်နှာကလာသော သူတို့ကို မျှော်၍ ကြည့်လော့။ သင့်အား ငါပေးသော သိုးစု၊ လှသောသိုးစု သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိသနည်း။

²¹What dost thou say, when He looketh after thee? And thou — thou hast taught them [to be] over thee — leaders for head? Do not pangs seize thee as a travailing woman?

²¹သင်သည် ဆုံးမတော်မူခြင်းကို ခံရသောအခါ၊ အဘယ်သို့ ပြောလိမ့်မည်နည်း။ သူတို့သည် သင့်ကို အစိုးတရပြုစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်အကြံပေးပြီး။ သားဘွားသော မိန်းမခံရသော ဝေဒနာကို သင်ခံရလိမ့် မည်မဟုတ်လော။

²²And when thou dost say in thy heart, `Wherefore have these met me?` For the abundance of thine iniquity Have thy skirts been uncovered, Have thy heels suffered violence.

²²သင်ကလည်း၊ အဘယ်အကြောင်းကြောင့် ဤအမှုရောက်သနည်းဟု စိတ်ထဲ၌ အောက်မေ့လျှင်၊ သင်၏အပြစ်များသောကြောင့်၊ သင့်အဝတ်ကို ချွတ်ရ၏။ ခြေနင်းကိုလည်းမစီးရ။

²³Doth a Cushite change his skin? and a leopard his spots? Ye also are able to do good, who are accustomed to do evil.

²³အဲသယောပိလူသည် မိမိအရေ၏ အဆင်းကို၎င်း၊ ကျားသစ်သည် မိမိအကွက်အကျားတို့ကို၎င်း ပြောင်းလဲနိုင်သလော။ ပြောင်းလဲနိုင်လျှင်၊ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြုလေ့ရှိသော သူတို့သည်၊ သုစရိုက်ကိုပြုခြင်းငှါ တတ်နိုင် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁴And I scatter them as stubble, Passing away, by a wind of the wilderness.

²⁴ထိုကြောင့်၊ ဖွဲကို လေပြင်းတိုက် လွှင့်သကဲ့သို့၊ ထိုသူတို့ကို ငါလွင့်စေမည်။

²⁵This [is] thy lot, the portion of thy measures from Me — an affirmation of Jehovah, Because thou hast forgotten me, And dost trust in falsehood.

²⁵သင်သည်ငါ့ကို မေ့လျော့၍၊ မုသာ၌ မှီဝဲ ဆည်းကပ်သောကြောင့်၊ သင့်အဘို့ ငါတိုင်းထွာ၍ ပေး လတံ့သော အငန်းအတာကား ဤသို့တည်း။

²⁶I also have made bare thy skirts before thy face, And thy shame hath been seen.

²⁶ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီ သင်ရှက်စရာအကြောင်းကို ထင်ရှားစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သင်၏ အဝတ်ကို ငါဖွင့်လှစ်၍ ပြမည်။

²⁷Thine adulteries, and thy neighings, The wickedness of thy whoredom, on heights in a field, I have seen thine abominations. Wo to thee, O Jerusalem, Thou art not cleansed, after when [is it] again?

²⁷သင်၏ မျောက်မထားခြင်း၊ ဟီမြည်ခြင်း၊ မတရားသော မေထုန် ၏ညစ်ညူးခြင်း၊ တောင်ပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ လယ်ပြင်၌၎င်းပြုသော စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ်တို့ကို ငါ သိမြင်၏။ အိုယေရုရှလင်မြို့၊ သင်သည် အမင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ဘဲ အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံး နေလိမ့်မည်နည်းဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
