¹I [am] the man [who] hath seen affliction By the rod of His wrath.

¹ငါသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမျက်တော်ကြိမ်လုံး အောက်၌ ဆင်းရဲခြင်းကို ခံရသောသူဖြစ်၏။

²Me He hath led, and causeth to go [in] darkness, and without light.

²ငါ့ကိုသွေးဆောင်၍ အလင်းသို့မပို့၊ မှောင်မိုက် ထဲသို့ ပို့ဆောင်တော်မူ၏။

³Surely against me He turneth back, He turneth His hand all the day.

³အကယ်စင်စစ်ငါ့ကို တနေ့လုံးအထပ်ထပ် ဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူ၏။

⁴He hath worn out my flesh and my skin. He hath broken my bones.

⁴ငါ့အရေနှင့်အသားကို ဆွေးရိစေ၍ ငါ့အရိုး တို့ကိုလည်း ချိုးတော်မူ၏။

⁵He hath built up against me, And setteth round poverty and weariness.

⁵ငါ့တဘက်၌ တပ်တည်၍ခါးသောအရာ၊ ပင်ပန်းစရာအကြောင်းတို့နှင့် ပိုင်းတော်မူ၏။

⁶In dark places He hath caused me to dwell, As the dead of old.

⁶သေလွန်သောသူတို့ကို ပြုတတ်သကဲ့သို့၊ ငါ့ကို မိုက်သောအရပ်၌ ထားတော်မူ၏။

⁷He hath hedged me about, and I go not out, He hath made heavy my fetter.

⁷ငါမထွက်နိုင်အောင် ဝင်းခတ်၍၊ လေးသော သံကြိုးနှင့် ချည်နှောင်တော်မူ၏။

⁸Also when I call and cry out, He hath shut out my prayer.

⁸ထိုမျှမကငါသည် ကြွေးကြော်အော်ဟစ်၍ ဆုတောင်းသော်လည်း ငြင်းပယ်တော်မူ၏။

⁹He hath hedged my ways with hewn work, My paths He hath made crooked.

⁹ငါသွားရာလမ်းကို ကျောက်ထရံနှင့်ပိတ်၍၊ ကောက်သောလမ်းဖြင့် သွားစေတော်မူ၏။

¹⁰A bear lying in wait He [is] to me, A lion in secret hiding-places.

¹⁰ငါ့ကို ချောင်းမြောင်းသောဝက်ဝံကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ မထင်ရှားသော အရပ်၌နေသော ခြင်္သေ့ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ် တော်မူ၏။

¹¹My ways He is turning aside, and He pulleth me in pieces, He hath made me a desolation.

¹¹ငါ့ကိုလမ်းလွဲစေပြီးလျှင် အပိုင်းပိုင်းဖြတ်၍ ဖျက်ဆီးတော်မူ၏။

¹²He hath trodden His bow, And setteth me up as a mark for an arrow.

¹²လေးတော်ကိုတင်၍ ပစ်စရာစက်အရာ၌ ငါ့ကို ထားတော်မူ၏။

¹³He hath caused to enter into my reins The sons of His quiver.

¹³မြှားတော်တို့ကိုလည်း၊ ငါ့ကျောက်ကပ်ကို ခွင်း စေတော်မူ၏။

¹⁴I have been a derision to all my people, Their song all the day.

¹⁴ငါသည်ငါ၏လူတို့တွင် ကဲ့ရဲ့စရာအကြောင်းနှင့် တနေ့လုံး သီချင်းဆိုစရာအကြောင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်တကား။

¹⁵He hath filled me with bitter things, He hath filled me [with] wormwood.

¹⁵ခါးသောဆေးနှင့်ငါ့ကိုဖြည့်၍၊ ဒေါနနှင့်ယစ်မူး စေတော်မူ၏။

¹⁶And He breaketh with gravel my teeth, He hath covered me with ashes.

¹⁶ကျောက်စရစ်ကိုကျွေး၍ ငါ့သွားတို့ကို ချိုးတော် မူ၏။ မီးဖိုပြာနှင့် ဖုံးတော်မူ၏။

¹⁷And Thou castest off from peace my soul, I have forgotten prosperity.

¹⁷ငါ၏ဝိညာဉ်ကို ချမ်းသာနှင့်ဝေးစွာ ရွေ့တော်မူ သောကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် မင်္ဂလာအကြောင်းကို မေ့လျော့ ၏။

¹⁸And I say, Perished hath my strength and my hope from Jehovah.

¹⁸သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ အစွမ်းသတ္တိနှင့် မြော်လင်စရာအကြောင်း ပျက်လေပြီဟု ဆိုရ၏။

¹⁹Remember my affliction and my mourning, Wormwood and gall!

¹⁹အကျွန်ုပ်ခံရသော ဆင်းရဲငြိုငြင်ခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ ဒေါနနှင့် သည်းခြေအရည်ကို၎င်း အောက်မေ့တော်မူပါ။

²⁰Remember well, and bow down doth my soul in me.

²⁰ဧကန်အမှန်အောက်မေ့တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

²¹This I turn to my heart — therefore I hope.

²¹ထိုသို့အကျွန်ုပ်၏ စိတ်နှလုံးသည် ဆင်ခြင်၍ သတိရသောအခါ မြော်လင့်စရာအခွင့်ရှိပါ၏။

²²The kindnesses of Jehovah! For we have not been consumed, For not ended have His mercies.

²²ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သနားတော်မူ၍ ကရုဏာ တော်သည် မကုန်သောကြောင့် ငါတို့သည် ဆုံးရှုံးခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ဘဲနေကြ၏။

²³New every morning, abundant [is] thy faithfulness.

²³နံနက်တိုင်းကရုဏာတော်အသစ်ကို ခံရကြ၏။ သစ္စာတော်သည် ကြီးမြတ်ပါ၏။

²⁴My portion [is] Jehovah, hath my soul said, Therefore I hope for Him.

²⁴ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်၏ သဘောဟူမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ၏အဘို့ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကို ငါမြော်လင့်ပါ၏။

²⁵Good [is] Jehovah to those waiting for Him, To the soul [that] seeketh Him.

²⁵ကိုယ်တော်ကို မြော်လင့်သောသူနှင့် ကိုယ်တော် ကို ရှာသောသူ၏ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်အား ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူ၏။

²⁶Good! when one doth stay and stand still For the salvation of Jehovah.

²⁶ကယ်တင်တော်မူမည်ဟု မြော်လင့်လျက်၊ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ စောင့်၍ နေကောင်း၏။

²⁷Good for a man that he beareth a yoke in his youth.

²⁷လူသည်အသက်ပျိုစဉ်အခါ ထမ်းဘိုးကို ထမ်း ကောင်း၏။

²⁸He sitteth alone, and is silent, For He hath laid [it] upon him.

²⁸ထမ်းဘိုးကို တင်တော်မူသောကြောင့် တယောက်တည်းထိုင်၍ ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာနေစေ။

²⁹He putteth in the dust his mouth, if so be there is hope.

²⁹မြော်လင့်စရာအခွင့်ရှိကောင်းရှိလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထင်လျက်၊ မိမိနှုတ်ကို မြေမှုန့်၌ကပ်စေ။

³⁰He giveth to his smiter the cheek, He is filled with reproach.

³⁰ရိုက်သောသူအား မိမိပါးကိုပေး၍၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့ပြစ်တင် ခြင်းနှင့်ပြည့်ဝစေ။

³¹For the Lord doth not cast off to the age.

³¹အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အစဉ် စွန့်ပစ်တော်မမူတတ်။

³²For though He afflicted, yet He hath pitied, According to the abundance of His kindness.

³²ဝမ်းနည်းစေတော်မူသော်လည်း၊ ကရုဏာတော် များပြားသည်နှင့်အညီ သနားတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

³³For He hath not afflicted with His heart, Nor doth He grieve the sons of men.

³³ဆင်းရဲစေချင်သော စိတ်နှင့်လူသားတို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲ၍ ဝမ်းနည်းစေတော်မူသည်မဟုတ်။

³⁴To bruise under one`s feet any bound ones of earth,

³⁴ချုပ်ထားသော ပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့ကို ခြေနှင့် နင်းကြိတ်ခြင်းအမှု၊

³⁵To turn aside the judgment of a man, Over-against the face of the Most High,

³⁵လူခံထိုက်သောတရားကို အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရား မျက်မှောက်၌ ဖျက်ခြင်းအမှု၊

³⁶To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord hath not approved.

³⁶သူတပါးကိုမတရားသဖြင့် ရှုံးစေခြင်းအမှုတို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရားနှစ် သက်တော်မမူ။

³⁷Who [is] this — he hath said, and it is, [And] the Lord hath not commanded [it]?

³⁷ထာဝရဘုရားမှာထားတော်မမူဘဲ၊ အဘယ်သူ သည် ပြော၍တစုံတခုကို ဖြစ်စေနိုင်သနည်း။

³⁸From the mouth of the Most High Go not forth the evils and the good.

³⁸အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရား၏နှုတ်ထွက်ရှိသည် အတိုင်း အမင်္ဂလာနှင့် အမင်္ဂလာဖြစ်တတ်သည် မဟုတ် လော။

³⁹What — sigh habitually doth a living man, A man for his sin?

³⁹အသက်ရှင်သောလူသတ္တဝါသည် အဘယ် ကြောင့် မြည်တမ်းရမည်နည်း။ မိမိဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်ကြောင့် မြည်တမ်းရမည်လော။

⁴⁰We search our ways, and investigate, And turn back unto Jehovah.

⁴⁰ငါတို့သည်ကိုယ်လိုက်သောလမ်းတို့ကို စစ်ကြော စုံစမ်း၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ ပြန်သွားကြကုန်အံ့။

⁴¹We lift up our heart on the hands unto God in the heavens.

⁴¹ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ရှိတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင့် ထံတော်သို့ နှလုံးနှင့်လက်တို့ကို ချီကြွကြကုန်အံ့။

⁴²We — we have transgressed and rebelled, Thou — Thou hast not forgiven.

⁴²အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ပြစ်မှား ပုန်ကန်မိပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အပြစ်လွှတ်တော်မမူပါ။

⁴³Thou hast covered Thyself with anger, And dost pursue us; Thou hast slain — Thou hast not pitied.

⁴³အမျက်တော်ထွက်၍ မျက်နှာလွှဲတော်မူ၏။ တဖန်အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကိုလိုက်၍ ကရုဏာမရှိဘဲ ကွပ်မျက် တော်မူ၏။

⁴⁴Thou hast covered Thyself with a cloud, So that prayer doth not pass through.

⁴⁴အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ပဌနာစကားသည် အထံတော်သို့ မပေါက်နိုင်အောင်၊ မိုဃ်းတိမ်ဖြင့်ကိုယ်ကို ကွယ်ကာ တော်မူ၏။

⁴⁵Offscouring and refuse Thou dost make us In the midst of the peoples.

⁴⁵အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကိုလူမျိုးတို့တွင် လှည်းပစ်သော တန်မြက်ချေး အမှိုက်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ရွံစရာအရာကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်စေတော်မူ၏။

⁴⁶Opened against us their mouth have all our enemies.

⁴⁶ရန်သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တဘက်၌ နှုတ်ကိုဖွင့်ကြပါ၏။

⁴⁷Fear and a snare hath been for us, Desolation and destruction.

⁴⁷အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကြောက်လန့်ဘွယ်သော အရာထဲသို့၎င်း၊ တွင်းထဲသို့၎င်း၊ သုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်း ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းထဲသို့၎င်း ရောက်ကြပါပြီ။

⁴⁸Rivulets of water go down my eye, For the destruction of the daughter of my people.

⁴⁸ငါ၏လူမျိုးသတို့သမီးပျက်စီးသောကြောင့်၊

⁴⁹Mine eye is poured out, And doth not cease without intermission,

⁴⁹ငါမျက်စိသည်မြစ်ရေဖြစ်၍ စီးလျက်ရှိ၏။

⁵⁰Till Jehovah looketh and seeth from the heavens,

⁵⁰ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကောင်းကင်က ငုံ့ကြည့်၍ ရှုမှတ်တော်မမူမှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ငါ့မျက်ရည်သည် ကျ၍ အစဉ်မပြတ် ယိုစီးလျက်ရှိ၏။

⁵¹My eye affecteth my soul, Because of all the daughters of my city.

⁵¹ငါ၏မြို့သမီးအပေါင်းတို့အတွက်ကြောင့်၊ ငါမျက်စိသည် ငါ့နှလုံးကို ပူစေတတ်၏။

⁵²Hunted me sore as a bird have my enemies without cause.

⁵²အကြောင်းမရှိဘဲ ငါ့ကိုရန်ပြုသောသူတို့သည် ငှက်ကိုလိုက်၍ ရှာသကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ကိုလိုက်၍ ရှာကြ၏။

⁵³They have cut off in a pit my life, And they cast a stone against me.

⁵³မြေတွင်း၌ ငါ့အသက်ကို ဖြတ်၍ ငါ့အပေါ်မှာ ကျောက်ကို တင်ထားကြ၏။

⁵⁴Flowed have waters over my head, I have said, I have been cut off.

⁵⁴ငါ့ခေါင်းကို ရေလွှမ်းမိုးသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါသည် ဆုံးရှုံးပြီဟု ဆိုရ၏။

⁵⁵I called Thy name, O Jehovah, from the lower pit.

⁵⁵အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ နက်သော မြေတွင်းထဲက အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်၏နာမကို ခေါ်ပါ၏။

⁵⁶My voice Thou hast heard, Hide not Thine ear at my breathing — at my cry.

⁵⁶အကျွန်ုပ်ခေါ်သံကို ကြားတော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ညည်းတွားအော်ဟစ်သောအခါ နားတော်ကို လွှဲတော်မမူပါနှင့်။

⁵⁷Thou hast drawn near in the day I call Thee, Thou hast said, Fear not.

⁵⁷အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ဟစ်ခေါ်သော အခါ၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ချဉ်းကပ်တော်မူ၍၊ မကြောက်နှင့် ဟု မိန့်တော်မူပြီ။

⁵⁸Thou hast pleaded, O Lord, the pleadings of my soul, Thou hast redeemed my life.

⁵⁸အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် အသက်နှင့် ဆိုင်သောအမှုကိုစောင့်၍ ရွေးနှုတ်တော်မူပြီ။

⁵⁹Thou hast seen, O Jehovah, my overthrow, Judge Thou my cause.

⁵⁹အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ခံရသော ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို မြင်တော်မူပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်အဘို့ တရားစီရင်တော်မူပါ။

⁶⁰Thou hast seen all their vengeance, All their thoughts of me.

⁶⁰သူတို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ်ကို ရန်ငြိုးဖွဲ့သမျှနှင့် မကောင်းသော အကြံရှိသမျှကို ကိုယ်တော်မြင်တော်မူပြီ။

⁶¹Thou hast heard their reproach, O Jehovah, All their thoughts against me,

⁶¹အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ သူတို့ကဲ့ရဲ့သောအကြောင်း နှင့်မကောင်း သောအကြံရှိသမျှကို၎င်း၊

⁶²The lips of my withstanders, Even their meditation against me all the day.

⁶²အကျွန်ုပ်တဘက်၌ ထသောသူတို့၏ အပြစ်တင် ခြင်း၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တဘက်၌ တနေ့လုံးကြံစည်ခြင်းကို၎င်း ကိုယ်တော်ကြားတော်မူပြီ။

⁶³Their sitting down, and their rising up, Behold attentively, I [am] their song.

⁶³သူတို့ထိုင်ခြင်း၊ ထခြင်းကိုကြည့်ရှုတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် သူတို့သီချင်းဆိုစရာအကြောင်းဖြစ်ပါ၏။

⁶⁴Thou returnest to them the deed, O Jehovah, According to the work of their hands.

⁶⁴အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ သူတို့ကျင့်သော အကျင့်နှင့် အလျောက်အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို ဆပ်ပေးတော်မူပါ။

⁶⁵Thou givest to them a covered heart, Thy curse to them.

⁶⁵သူတို့စိတ်နှလုံးကိုခိုင်မာစေ၍ ကျိန်တော်မူပါ။

⁶⁶Thou pursuest in anger, and destroyest them, From under the heavens of Jehovah!

⁶⁶အမျက်တော်ထွက်၍ သူတို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲသဖြင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်အောက်မှ သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းတော်မူပါ။
