¹Give ye thanks to Jehovah — call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.

¹ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်း ကြလော့။ နာမတော်ကို ပဌနာပြုကြလော့။ အမှုတော် တို့ကို လူများတို့အား ပြသကြလော့။

²Sing ye to Him — sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.

²ထာဝရဘုရားကို သီချင်းဆိုကြလော့။ ဆာလံ သီချင်းကို ဆိုကြလော့။ အံ့ဘွယ်သော အမှုတော်အပေါင်း တို့ကို ဟောပြောကြလော့။

³Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.

³သန့်ရှင်းသောနာမတော်၌ ဝါကြွား ဝမ်းမြောက် ကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ရှာသောသူတို့သည် စိတ်နှလုံး ရွှင်လန်းကြစေ။

⁴Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.

⁴ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့် တန်ခိုးတော်ကို ရှာကြလော့။ မျက်နှာတော်ကို အစဉ်မပြတ် ရှာကြလော့။

⁵Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.

⁵စီရင်တော်မူသော အံ့ဩဘွယ်တို့ကို၎င်း၊ ထူးဆန်းသော အမှုတော်တို့နှင့် နှုတ်ထွက်ပညတ်တို့ကို၎င်း အောက်မေ့ကြလော့။

⁶O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

⁶ထာဝရဘုရား၏ကျွန်အာဗြဟံအမျိုး၊ ရွေး ကောက်တော်မူသော ယာကုပ်အနွှယ်တို့၊

⁷He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.

⁷ကိုယ်တော်မြတ် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ မြေကြီးတပြင်လုံး၌ တရား စီရင်ပိုင်တော်မူ၏။

⁸He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,

⁸ငါသည်သင်တို့ အမွေခံရာဘို့ခါ နာန်ပြည်ကို သင်၌ပေးမည်ဟု ငါတို့အမျိုးသည် အရေအတွက် အားဖြင့် မများ၊

⁹That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,

⁹အလွန်နည်း၍ ထိုပြည်၌ ဧည့်သည် ဖြစ်လျက်နေသောအခါ၊

¹⁰And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during,

¹⁰အာဗြဟံ၌ဂတိထား၍၊ ဣဇာက် ၌ ကျိန်ဆိုတော်မူလျက်၊

¹¹Saying, `To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,`

¹¹ယာကုပ်၌ မြဲမြံသောတရား၊ ဣသရေလ၌ နိစ္စထာဝရပဋိညာဉ်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါ၊

¹²In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.

¹²လူမျိုး အဆက် တထောင်တိုင်အောင် မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူသော နှုတ်ကပတ်တည်းဟူသော ဝန်ခံခြင်းတရားတော်ကို အစဉ်အမြဲ အောက်မေ့တော်မူ၏။

¹³And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.

¹³သူတို့သည် တမြို့မှတမြို့သို့၎င်း၊တနိုင်ငံမှ တနိုင်ငံသို့၎င်း၊ လှည့်လည်၍ သွားကြသောအခါ၊

¹⁴He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.

¹⁴သူတို့ကို ညှဉ်းဆဲစေခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်သူအားမျှ အခွင့်ပေးတော်မမူ။ သူတို့အတွက်လည်းရှင်ဘုရင်တို့ကို ဆုံးမလျက်၊

¹⁵`Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.`

¹⁵ငါ့ထံ၌ ဘိသိတ်ခံသောသူတို့ကို မထိမခိုက်နှင့်။ ငါ၏ ပရောဖက်တို့ကို အပြစ်မပြုနှင့်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁶And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.

¹⁶တဖန်တုံ၊ ထိုပြည်၌ မွတ်သိပ်ခြင်းဘေးကို ခေါ်၍၊ အစာအာဟာရတည်းဟူသော အထောက်အပင့် ရှိသမျှကို ချိုးဖျက်တော်မူသောအခါ၊

¹⁷He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.

¹⁷ကျွန်ဖြစ်စေဘို့ အရောင်းခံရသော ယောသပ် ကို သူတို့ရှေ့မှာ စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁸They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,

¹⁸သူ့ကိုခြေချင်းခတ်၍ သံနှင့်ညှဉ်းဆဲကြ၏။

¹⁹Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.

¹⁹သူ၏စကား မပြည့်စုံမှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော်အတိုင်း စုံစမ်းခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။

²⁰The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.

²⁰လူတို့ကို အစိုးရသော အရှင်တည်းဟူသော ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် စေလွှတ်၍ သူ့ကိုနှုတ်ပြီးမှ ချမ်းသာ ပေးတော်မူ၏။

²¹He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.

²¹သူသည် မိမိအလိုရှိသည်အတိုင်း မင်းအရာရှိ တို့ကို ချည်နှောင်၍၊

²²To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.

²²မှူးတော်မတ်တော်တို့ကို ဆုံးမပိုင် သော အခွင့်နှင့် နန်းတော်အုပ်၊ နိုင်ငံတော်အုပ်အရာ၌ ထိုသူကို ခန့်ထားတော်မူ၏။

²³And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.

²³ဣသရေလသည်လည်း အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်သို့ ရောက် လာ၍၊ ယာကုပ်သည် ဟာမအမျိုးနေရာပြည်၌ တည်းခို၏။

²⁴And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.

²⁴ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိလူတို့ကို အလွန်များပြား စေ၍၊ ရန်သူတို့ထက် အားကြီးစေတော်မူ၏။

²⁵He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.

²⁵မိမိလူတို့ကို ရန်သူတို့သည်မုန်း၍၊ မိမိကျွန်တို့ကို ပရိယာယ်ပြုမည် အကြောင်း၊ ထိုသူတို့ စိတ်နှလုံးကို ပြောင်းလဲစေတော် မူ၏။

²⁶He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.

²⁶တဖန်မိမိကျွန် မောရှေနှင့်ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသော အာရုန်ကို စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။

²⁷They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.

²⁷အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်သားတို့တွင်၊ လက္ခဏာသက်သေ တော်တို့ကိုပြ၍၊ ဟာမအမျိုးနေရာပြည်၌ အံ့ဘွယ်သော အမှုတို့ကို ပြုကြ၏။

²⁸He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.

²⁸မှောင်မိုက်ကိုစေလွှတ်၍၊ မိုက်မဲစေတော်မူ၏။ သူတို့သည် နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်မပြုရကြ။

²⁹He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.

²⁹သူတို့ရေများကို အသွေးဖြစ်စေ၍၊ ငါးများကို သေစေတော်မူ၏။

³⁰Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.

³⁰သူတို့မြေသည် များစွာသော ဘားတို့ကို မင်းအိပ်ရာအခန်းတို့ ၌ပင်ဘွားလေ၏။

³¹He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.

³¹အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၍ ယင်ရဲနှင့်ခြင်တို့သည် တပြည် လုံးကို နှံ့ပြား ကြ၏။

³²He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.

³²မိုဃ်းရေအစား မိုဃ်းသီးကို၎င်း၊ သူတို့မြေပေါ် မှာ မီးလျှံကို၎င်း ပေးတော်မူ၏။

³³And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.

³³သူတို့စပျစ်နွယ်ပင်နှင့် သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင်တို့ကို ထိခိုက်၍၊ တပြည်လုံး၌ရှိသော သစ်ပင်များကို ချိုးတော် မူ၏။

³⁴He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm — innumerable,

³⁴အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၍ မရေတွက်နိုင်အောင်၊ အရာ ဘကျိုင်းနှင့် ယာလက်ကျိုင်းတို့သည် လာ၍၊

³⁵And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.

³⁵သူတို့ပြည်မှာ ဟင်းသီးဟင်းရွက်ရှိသမျှတို့ကို၎င်း၊ မြေဩဇာ အသီးအနှံတို့ကို၎င်းကိုက်စားကြ၏။

³⁶And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,

³⁶သူတို့အစွမ်းသတ္တိ အထွဋ်အမြတ်တည်းဟူသော သူတို့ပြည်မှာ သားဦးအပေါင်းတို့ကို ဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူ၏။

³⁷And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.

³⁷မိမိလူတို့ကို ရွှေငွေပါလျက် ထုတ်ဆောင်တော် မူ၍၊ သူတို့အစုစု၌ အားနည်းသော သူတယောက်မျှမရှိ။

³⁸Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.

³⁸အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်သည် သူတို့ကို ကြောက်သော ကြောင့်၊ သူတို့သည် ထွက်သွားသောအခါ တပြည်လုံး ဝမ်းမြောက်၏။

³⁹He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.

³⁹သူတို့အပေါ်မှာ မိုဃ်းတိမ်ကိုဖြန့်မိုး၍၊ ညဉ့်အခါ လင်းစရာဘို့ မီးကိုပေးတော်မူ၏။

⁴⁰They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.

⁴⁰သူတို့သည် တောင်းသောအခါ ငုံးများကို ဆောင်ခဲ့တော်မူ၍၊ သူတို့ကို ကောင်းကင်မုန့်နှင့် ရောင့်ရဲ စေတော်မူ၏။

⁴¹He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places — a river.

⁴¹ကျောက်ကိုလည်း ဖွင့်လှစ်တော်မူသဖြင့်၊ ရေ သည် ထွက်၍ သွေ့ခြောက်သောအရပ်၌ မြစ်ကဲ့သို့စီးသွား လေ၏။

⁴²For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,

⁴²အကြောင်းမူကား၊ မိမိကျွန် အာဗြဟံ၌ ထားခဲ့ ဘူးသော သန့်ရှင်းသော ဂတိတော်ကို အောက်မေ့တော် မူ၏။

⁴³And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.

⁴³ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသော မိမိလူတို့ကို ဝမ်း မြောက်ရွှင်လန်းခြင်းနှင့်တကွ ထုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူ၏။

⁴⁴And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,

⁴⁴သူတို့သည် အထုံးအဖွဲ့တော်တို့အတိုင်း ကျင့်၍၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို စောင့်ရှောက်မည်အကြောင်း၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့၏မြေကို ပေးတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ သူတို့ သည် အခြားသောလူတို့၏ အလုပ်ထဲသို့ ဝင်စားရကြ၏။ ဟာလေလုယ။

⁴⁵That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
