¹Not to us, O Jehovah, not to us, But to Thy name give honour, For Thy kindness, for Thy truth.

¹အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၌ ဘုန်းမရှိစေဘဲ၊ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၌ ဘုန်းမရှိစေဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏နာမ၌ ကရုဏာတော်နှင့် သစ္စာတော်ကြောင့် ဘုန်းရှိပါစေ သတည်း။

²Why do the nations say, `Where, pray, [is] their God.

²သူတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိ သနည်းဟု တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုရကြမည်နည်း။

³And our God [is] in the heavens, All that He hath pleased He hath done.

³ငါတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ ရှိတော်မူ၏။ အလိုတော်ရှိသမျှအတိုင်း ပြုတော်မူ၏။

⁴Their idols [are] silver and gold, work of man`s hands,

⁴သူတို့၏ရုပ်တုများမူကား ငွေလည်းဖြစ်၏။ ရွှေလည်း ဖြစ်၏။ လူလက်ဖြင့် လုပ်သောအရာပေတည်း။

⁵A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,

⁵ထိုရုပ်တုတို့သည် နှုတ်ရှိ၍ စကားမပြောတတ်။ မျက်စိရှိ၍ မမြင်တတ်။

⁶Ears they have, and they hear not, A nose they have, and they smell not,

⁶နားရှိ၍မကြားတတ်။ နှာခေါင်းရှိ၍မနမ်းတတ်။

⁷Their hands, but they handle not, Their feet, and they walk not;

⁷လက်ရှိ၍ မကိုင်တတ်။ ခြေရှိ၍မသွားတတ်။ သူတို့လည်ချောင်းဖြင့် အသံမပြုတတ်ပါတကား။

⁸Nor do they mutter through their throat, Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.

⁸လုပ်သောသူတို့လည်း အတူတူပါတကား။

⁹O Israel, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

⁹အို ဣသရေလအမျိုး၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကိုးစား လော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို မစသော သူ၊ ကွယ်ကာသောသူဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁰O house of Aaron, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹⁰အိုအာရုန်အမျိုးအနွယ်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကိုးစားလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အာရုန်အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို မစသောသူ၊ ကွယ်ကာသောသူ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

¹¹Ye fearing Jehovah, trust in Jehovah, `Their help and their shield [is] He.`

¹¹ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသူတို့၊ ထိုဘုရားကို ကိုးစားကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ထိုသို့ သော သူတို့ကို မစသောသူ၊ ကွယ်ကာသောသူ ဖြစ်တော် မူ၏။

¹²Jehovah hath remembered us, He blesseth, He blesseth the house of Israel, He blesseth the house of Aaron,

¹²ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ကို အောက်မေ့တော် မူ၏။ ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူမည်။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူမည်။ အာရုန်အမျိုးအနွယ်ကို ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူမည်။

¹³He blesseth those fearing Jehovah, The small with the great.

¹³ထာဝရဘုရားကို ကြောက်ရွံ့သောသူ အကြီး အငယ်တို့ကို ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူမည်။

¹⁴Jehovah addeth to you, to you, and to your sons.

¹⁴ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်တို့နှင့် သင်တို့ သားမြေးတို့၌ မင်္ဂလာကို တိုးပွားစေတော်မူမည်။

¹⁵Blessed [are] ye of Jehovah, maker of heaven and earth,

¹⁵သင်တို့သည် ကောင်းကင်နှင့်မြေကြီးကို ဖန် ဆင်းသော ထာဝရဘုရား ကောင်းကြီးပေးတော်မူသော သူ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

¹⁶The heavens — the heavens [are] Jehovah`s, And the earth He hath given to sons of men,

¹⁶ကောင်းကင်ကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကောင်း ကင်ဖြစ်၏။ မြေကြီးကိုကား လူသားတို့အား ပေးတော် မူပြီ။

¹⁷The dead praise not Jah, Nor any going down to silence.

¹⁷သေလွန်သောသူ၊ ငြိမ်းရာထဲသို့ ဆင်းသောသူ ရှိသမျှတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မချီးမွမ်းရကြ။

¹⁸And we, we bless Jah, From henceforth, and unto the age. Praise ye Jah!

¹⁸ငါတို့မူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို ယခုမှစ၍ အစဉ် အဆက် ကောင်းကြီးပေးကြလေအံ့သတည်း။ ဟာလေ လုယ။
