1This third time do I come unto you; on the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every saying be established;
1ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਤੀਸਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖੋ, “ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਲਈ ਦੋ ਜਾਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ।”
2I have said before, and I say [it] before, as being present, the second time, and being absent, now, do I write to those having sinned before, and to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare,
2ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
3since a proof ye seek of the Christ speaking in me, who to you is not infirm, but is powerful in you,
3ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮਸੀਹ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਸੀਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮਸੀਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
4for even if he was crucified from infirmity, yet he doth live from the power of God; for we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him from the power of God toward you.
4ਇਹ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਲੀ ਟਂਗਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਖਾਤਿਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਸੀਹ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂਵਾਂਗੇ।
5Your ownselves try ye, if ye are in the faith; your ownselves prove ye; do ye not know your ownselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, if ye be not in some respect disapproved of?
5ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ? ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਫ਼ੇਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ।
6and I hope that ye shall know that we — we are not disapproved of;
6ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਖ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਫ਼ੇਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ।
7and I pray before God that ye do no evil, not that we may appear approved, but that ye may do that which is right, and we may be as disapproved;
7ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਾਡ਼ਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਵੇਖਣ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ। ਪਰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਹ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ।
8for we are not able to do anything against the truth, but for the truth;
8ਅਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਜੋ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਓਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਸੱਚ ਲਈ ਹਨ।
9for we rejoice when we may be infirm, and ye may be powerful; and this also we pray for — your perfection!
9ਅਸੀਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਤਕਡ਼ੇ ਹੋਵੋ।
10because of this, these things — being absent — I write, that being present, I may not treat [any] sharply, according to the authority that the Lord did give me for building up, and not for casting down.
10ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਗੈਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਾ ਵਰਤਨੀ ਪਵੇ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਕਡ਼ਾ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
11Henceforth, brethren, rejoice; be made perfect, be comforted, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of the love and peace shall be with you;
11ਹੁਣ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਲਵਿਦਾ। ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਬਨਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੋ। ਉਹੀ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂਵੋ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
12salute one another in an holy kiss;
12ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾ ਦਿਉ, ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੁੰਮੀ ਦਿਉ।
13salute you do all the saints;
13ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
14the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, [is] with you all! Amen.
14ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ। ਆਮੀਨ।
