1In many parts, and many ways, God of old having spoken to the fathers in the prophets,
1ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
2in these last days did speak to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He did make the ages;
2ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਾਜੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਹੀਂ ਸਾਜਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
3who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also the all things by the saying of his might — through himself having made a cleansing of our sins, sat down at the right hand of the greatness in the highest,
3ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਭਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਨਕਲ ਹੈ। ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਕੇ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ।
4having become so much better than the messengers, as he did inherit a more excellent name than they.
4ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੂਤ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।
5For to which of the messengers said He ever, `My Son thou art — I to-day have begotten thee?` and again, `I will be to him for a father, and he shall be to Me for a son?`
5ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ; “ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ; ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।” ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 2:7 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਣੇਗਾ।” 2 ਸਮੂਏਲ 7:14
6and when again He may bring in the first-born to the world, He saith, `And let them bow before him — all messengers of God;`
6ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਨਮੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੂਤ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ।” ਬਿਵਸਥਾ 32:43
7and unto the messengers, indeed, He saith, `Who is making His messengers spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire;`
7ਦੂਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਨੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।” ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 104:4
8and unto the Son: `Thy throne, O God, [is] to the age of the age; a scepter of righteousness [is] the scepter of thy reign;
8ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ; “ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਤਖਤ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਸਲਾਮਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਹੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
9thou didst love righteousness, and didst hate lawlessness; because of this did He anoint thee — God, thy God — with oil of gladness above thy partners;`
9ਤੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਗਲਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਲਈ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।” ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 45:6-7
10and, `Thou, at the beginning, Lord, the earth didst found, and a work of thy hands are the heavens;
10ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਮੁਢ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ।
11these shall perish, and Thou dost remain, and all, as a garment, shall become old,
11ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਕੱਪਡ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
12and as a mantle Thou shall roll them together, and they shall be changed, and Thou art the same, and Thy years shall not fail.`
12ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਟ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਹਿ ਲਾਵੇਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੱਪਡ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 102:25-27
13And unto which of the messengers said He ever, `Sit at My right hand, till I may make thine enemies thy footstool?`
13ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਦੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ; “ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿਯਂਤ੍ਰਣ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂ।” ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 110:1
14are they not all spirits of service — for ministration being sent forth because of those about to inherit salvation?
14ਸਾਰੇ ਦੂਤ, ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਤਮੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
