1Let brotherly love remain;
1ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣਾਂ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੋ।
2of the hospitality be not forgetful, for through this unawares certain did entertain messengers;
2ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਅਜਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਬੁਲਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨੀ ਚੇਤੇ ਰਖੋ। ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਕੇ, ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੀ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨਵਾਜ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
3be mindful of those in bonds, as having been bound with them, of those maltreated, as also yourselves being in the body;
3ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਭੁੱਲੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੋ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਭੁੱਲੋ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਤਸੀਹਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੰਘ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਸੀਹਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਲੰਘਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
4honourable [is] the marriage in all, and the bed undefiled, and whoremongers and adulterers God shall judge.
4ਵਿਆਹ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਦਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵਿਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪੀ ਪਰਖੇਗਾ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਪਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
5Without covetousness the behaviour, being content with the things present, for He hath said, `No, I will not leave, no, nor forsake thee,`
5ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਸੇ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਰਖੋ। ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਰਹੋ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਿਆਗਾਂਗਾ।” ਬਿਵਸਥਾ 31:6
6so that we do boldly say, `The Lord [is] to me a helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.`
6ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਆਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਾਂਗਾ। ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਗਾਡ਼ ਸਕਦੇ।” ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 118:6
7Be mindful of those leading you, who did speak to you the word of God, whose faith — considering the issue of the behaviour — be imitating,
7ਆਪਣੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਰਖੋ। ਉਨਹਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਚੇਤੇ ਰਖੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਜੀਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਦੀ ਨਕਲ ਕਰੋ।
8Jesus Christ yesterday and to-day the same, and to the ages;
8ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਕੱਲ, ਅੱਜ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
9with teachings manifold and strange be not carried about, for [it is] good that by grace the heart be confirmed, not with meats, in which they who were occupied were not profited;
9ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਜੀਬ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਓ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਾਕਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਕਿ ਭੋਜਨ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਕੇ। ਉਨਹਆਂ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਤਾਈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਲਾਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
10we have an altar, of which to eat they have no authority who the tabernacle are serving,
10ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਇੱਕ ਬਲੀ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਾਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
11for of those beasts whose blood is brought for sin into the holy places through the chief priest — of these the bodies are burned without the camp.
11ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਉਸ ਲਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਰਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਖੈਮੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸਾਡ਼ੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
12Wherefore, also Jesus — that he might sanctify through [his] own blood the people — without the gate did suffer;
12ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਯਿਸੂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਹੀਣ ਹੋਇਆ। ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਲਹੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਿਆ।
13now, then, may we go forth unto him without the camp, his reproach bearing;
13ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਆਓ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਡੇਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਚੱਲੀਏ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
14for we have not here an abiding city, but the coming one we seek;
14ਇਥੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਹਡ਼ਾ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭਵਿਖ੍ਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
15through him, then, we may offer up a sacrifice of praise always to God, that is, the fruit of lips, giving thanks to His name;
15ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਦੇਣੀਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਉਹੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਮਾਮਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
16and of doing good, and of fellowship, be not forgetful, for with such sacrifices God is well-pleased.
16ਅਤੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਝ ਕਰਨੀ ਨਾ ਵਿਸਾਰੋ। ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
17Be obedient to those leading you, and be subject, for these do watch for your souls, as about to give account, that with joy they may do this, and not sighing, for this [is] unprofitable to you.
17ਆਪਣੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਰਹੋ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੰਮ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ, ਉਦਾਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਬਣਾਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
18Pray for us, for we trust that we have a good conscience, in all things willing to behave well,
18ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ। ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਠੀਕ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉੱਤਮ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
19and more abundantly do I call upon [you] to do this, that more quickly I may be restored to you.
19ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਲਦੀ ਭੇਜੇ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਵਧ੍ਧ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
20And the God of the peace, who did bring up out of the dead the great shepherd of the sheep — in the blood of an age-during covenant — our Lord Jesus,

21make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom [is] the glory — to the ages of the ages! Amen.

22And I entreat you, brethren, suffer the word of the exhortation, for also through few words I have written to you.
22ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣੋ ਮੈਂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੋ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਚਿਠੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
23Know ye that the brother Timotheus is released, with whom, if he may come more shortly, I will see you.
23ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋ ਕਿ ਸਾਡਾ ਭਰਾ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਕੈਦ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਛੇਤੀ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਵਾਂਗੇ।
24Salute all those leading you, and all the saints; salute you doth those from Italy:
24ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਆਖਿਓ। ਇਤਾਲਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
25the grace [is] with you all! Amen.
25ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ।
