¹And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Hew for thyself two tables of stone like the first, and I have written on the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou hast broken;

²and be prepared at morning, and thou hast come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and hast stood before Me there, on the top of the mount,

²Huchi in zingsang in mansa in om inla, huan zingsang in Sinai tang ah hongtou inla, tangvum ah ka kiang ah hong kihil in.

³and no man cometh up with thee, and also no man is seen in all the mount, also the flock and the herd do not feed over-against that mount.`

³Huan na kiang a kuamah a hongtouh louh ding uh ahi, tang kimvel a leng kuamah himhim muh a a om louh ding uh; tang ma zawn lam a bawng hon leh belam hon leng a gamtat louh ding uh, a chi.

⁴And he heweth two tables of stone like the first, and Moses riseth early in the morning, and goeth up unto mount Sinai, as Jehovah commanded him, and he taketh in his hand two tables of stone.

⁵And Jehovah cometh down in a cloud, and stationeth Himself with him there, and calleth in the Name of Jehovah,

⁶and Jehovah passeth over before his face, and calleth: `Jehovah, Jehovah God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth,

⁶Huchi in a ma ah TOUPA a paisuak a, TOUPA, TOUPA Pathian, chingthei leh hehpihthei, dohthei leh, hoihna leh thutak a hau;

⁷keeping kindness for thousands, taking away iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on children, and on children`s children, on a third [generation], and on a fourth.`

⁷Sang tampite a dia chitna nei, mohte bangchi mah a hihveng lou ding, gitlouhna leh tatlekna leh khelhna ngaidam; pate gitlouhna tate tung leh, tate tate tung, a khang thumna leh a khang lina tan a thuk, chi in a genkhia a.

⁸And Moses hasteth, and boweth to the earth, and doth obeisance,

⁸Huan Mosi a kinoh a, lei lam ah a lu a kun a, a be ta hi.

⁹and saith, `If, I pray Thee, I have found grace in Thine eyes, O my Lord, let my Lord, I pray Thee, go in our midst (for it [is] a stiff-necked people), and thou hast forgiven our iniquity and our sin, and hast inherited us.`

⁹Huan aman, Tua na mitmuh a hehpihna ka muh leh, TOUPA aw, ka hon ngen hi, ka lak uah ka TOUPA pai hen; mi genhak a hih ziak un: ka gitlouhna uleh ka khelhna uh ngaidam inla na gouluah ding in hon la in, a chi hi.

¹⁰And He saith, `Lo, I am making a covenant: before all thy people I do wonders, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation, and all the people in whose midst thou [art] have seen the work of Jehovah, for it [is] fearful that which I am doing with thee.

¹⁰Huan aman, Ngai in, thuchiam ka bawl; lei tengteng a hih a om ngeilou, koi nam a leng hih a om ngei lou, thillamdangte na mite tengteng in TOUPA thilhih a mu ding uh: na lak a ka hih ding thil lauhuai a hih ziak in.

¹¹`Observe for thyself that which I am commanding thee to-day: lo, I am casting out from before thee the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite;

¹¹Nang tuni a kon thupiak chiamteh in; ngai in na ma uah Amorte, leh Kanante leh, Hitte leh Perizte leh, Hiv-te leh Jebus-te ka hawlkhia hi.

¹²take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land into which thou art going, lest it become a snare in thy midst;

¹²Na zohna lam gam ua tengte toh thuchiam na bawlkha ding, kiveng in, huchilou in zaw na lak ua thang ahi ding hi:

¹³for their altars ye break down, and their standing pillars ye shiver, and its shrines ye cut down;

¹³A maitamte uh na hihsia un, a milimte uh na sukgawp sak un, Asete uh na phuk sak zaw ding uh:

¹⁴for ye do not bow yourselves to another god — for Jehovah, whose name [is] Zealous, is a zealous God.

¹⁵`Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitant of the land, and they have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have sacrificed to their gods, and [one] hath called to thee, and thou hast eaten of his sacrifice,

¹⁵A gam a pathiante uh kiang ah kithoihna a bawl un, khattei in nang a hon sam in, a kithoihna uh na ne kha ding hi;

¹⁶and thou hast taken of their daughters to thy sons, and their daughters have gone a-whoring after their gods, and have caused thy sons to go a-whoring after their gods;

¹⁶Huan na tapate uh a ding in a tanute uh na pi kha ding ua, huchi in a tanute uh a pathiante uh lak a kizuak un, a pathiante uh lak a na tapate uh kizuak ding in a bawl kha ding uhi.

¹⁷a molten god thou dost not make to thyself.

¹⁷Pathian sunte na kibawl ding ahi kei.

¹⁸`The feast of unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at an appointed time, the month of Abib: for in the month of Abib thou didst come out from Egypt.

¹⁸Tanghou silngou sohlouh a annkuangluina na nei gige ding. Thu ka hon piak tak bang in, Abib kha in, ni sagih sung tanghou silngou sohlouh na ne ding uh: Abib kha a Aigupta a kipan a nong paikhiak ziak un.

¹⁹`All opening a womb [are] Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;

¹⁹Sul hong tengteng kei ahi a; huan na ganhon lak ua ta masapen, bawngtal hi in belam hileh, a pa peuhpeuh.

²⁰and the firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb; and if thou dost not ransom, then thou hast beheaded it; every first-born of thy sons thou dost ransom, and they do not appear before Me empty.

²⁰A hihhang in sabengtung nou masapen belam nou in na tan ding: huan na tat kei leh, na gawng na hektan ding. Na tapate tengteng lak a piang masapen na tan ding hi. Huan vuaktang in ka ma ah kuamah hong kilang kei ding uh.

²¹`Six days thou dost work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest; in ploughing-time and in harvest thou dost rest.

²¹Ni guk sung nna na sem ding, himahleh ni sagih ni in na khawl ding: haichi pawi hun leh pawltak hun in na khawl ding.

²²`And a feast of weeks thou dost observe for thyself; first-fruits of wheat-harvest; and the feast of in-gathering, at the revolution of the year.

²²Nipi kalte a annkuangluina, huitbuh pawltak gah masa annkungluina, kumtawp a koihkhawmna annkuangluinate na tan ding ahi.

²³`Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the Lord Jehovah, God of Israel;

²³Kum khat in thumvei na pasal naupangte tengteng uh TOUPA Pathian, Israel Pathian ma a a kilat ding uh.

²⁴for I dispossess nations from before thee, and have enlarged thy border, and no man doth desire thy land in thy going up to appear before Jehovah thy God three times in a year.

²⁴Na ma a namte ka delh khiak a, na gamgite ka suklet ding ziak in: kum khat thumvei TOUPA na Pathian ma a kilang ding a na paitouh chiang in, kuamah himhim in na gam a deih kei ding uhi.

²⁵`Thou dost not slaughter with a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice; and the sacrifice of the feast of the passover doth not remain till morning:

²⁵Ka kithoihna sisan silngou toh na lan ding ahi kei; paikan annkuangluina kithoihna leng a zingchiang tan in nutsiah in a om ding ahi kei.

²⁶the first of the first-fruits of the land thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother`s milk.`

²⁶Na gam a gah masapente a masapen TOUPA na Pathian in ah non tawi ding. Kelnou a nu nawi ne lai na mawk suknuak ding ahi kei, a chi hi.

²⁷And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Write for thyself these words, for, according to the tenor of these words I have made with thee a covenant, and with Israel.`

²⁷Huan TOUPA'N Mosi kiang ah, Hiai thute gelh in: hiai thute omdan zui a nang leh Israel toh thuchiam ka bawl tak ziak in, a chi a.

²⁸And he is there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; bread he hath not eaten, and water he hath not drunk; and he writeth on the tables the matters of the covenant — the ten matters.

²⁸Huan TOUPA kiang ah ni sawmli leh zan sawmli a om a; ann lah a ne kei a, tui lah a dawn kei hi. Huan suangpek tungah thuchiam thute a gelh a, thupiak sawmte.

²⁹And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony [are] in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,

²⁹Huan hichi a hong hi a, Mosi Sinai tang a kipan a khut a theihpihna suangpek nihte toh, tang a kipan a a hong paisuk lai in, amah a houpih sung in a mai vun a tang chih Mosi in a theikei hi.

³⁰and Aaron seeth — all the sons of Israel also — Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.

³¹And Moses calleth unto them, and Aaron and all the princes in the company return unto him, and Moses speaketh unto them;

³²and afterwards have all the sons of Israel come nigh, and he chargeth them with all that Jehovah hath spoken with him in mount Sinai.

³³And Moses finisheth speaking with them, and putteth on his face a vail;

³³Huchi in Mosi in amau a houpih khit mateng, a mai maituamna in a tuam hi.

³⁴and in the going in of Moses before Jehovah to speak with Him, he turneth aside the vail until his coming out; and he hath come out and hath spoken unto the sons of Israel that which he is commanded;

³⁴Himahleh Mosi TOUPA ma a amah houpih ding a a lut lai in, a hong pawtkhiak tan, maituamna a la khia a; huan thu piak a a omdan Israel suante kiang ah gen hi;Huchi in Israel suante'n Mosi mai a mu ta ua, Mosi maivun a tandan: huan Mosi in, amah houpih ding a a lut nawn tan in a mai maituamna in a tuam nawn.

³⁵and the sons of Israel have seen the face of Moses that the skin of the face of Moses hath shone, and Moses hath put back the vail on his face until his going in to speak with Him.
