¹And Hiram king of Tyre sendeth his servants unto Solomon, for he heard that they had anointed him for king instead of his father, for Hiram was a lover of David all the days;

¹Oo Xiiraam oo ahaa boqorkii Turos wuxuu Sulaymaan u soo diray addoommadiisii, waayo, wuxuu maqlay inay meeshii aabbihiis isaga boqradeen; waayo, Xiiraam weligiisba wuxuu jeclaa Daa'uud.

²and Solomon sendeth unto Hiram, saying,

²Oo Sulaymaanna Xiiraam buu u cid diray oo ku yidhi,

³`Thou hast known David my father, that he hath not been able to build a house to the name of Jehovah his God, because of the wars that have been round about him, till Jehovah`s putting them under the soles of his feet.

³Waad og tahay in aabbahay Daa'uud guri u dhisi kari waayay magaca Rabbiga Ilaahiisa ah, dagaalladii dhinac kasta kaga wareegsanaa aawadood, ilaa Rabbigu u wada geliyey cagihiisa hoostooda.

⁴`And now, Jehovah my God hath given rest to me round about, there is no adversary nor evil occurrence,

⁴Laakiinse haatan Rabbigu waa iga nasiyey dhinac kastaba, oo lama arko cadow iyo wax xun toona.

⁵and lo, I am saying to build a house to the name of Jehovah my God, as Jehovah spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son whom I appoint in thy stead on thy throne, he doth build the house for My name.

⁵Oo waxaan damacsanahay inaan guri u dhiso magaca Rabbiga Ilaahayga ah, sidii Rabbigu u sheegay aabbahay Daa'uud, isagoo leh, Wiilkaaga oo aan dabadaa carshigaaga ku fadhiisin doono ayaa magacayga guri u dhisi doona.

⁶`And now, command, and they cut down for me cedars out of Lebanon, and my servants are with thy servants, and the hire of thy servants I give to thee according to all that thou sayest, for thou hast known that there is not among us a man acquainted with cutting wood, like the Sidonians.`

⁶Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed amar in Lubnaan layga soo jaro geedo kedar ah, oo addoommadayduna waxay la jiri doonaan addoommadaada, oo addoommadaadana in alla intii aad tidhaahdid ayaan kaaga kiraysan; waayo, waad garanaysaa inaan dhexdayada lagu arag wax dhirta u jari kara sida reer Siidoon.

⁷And it cometh to pass at Hiram`s hearing the words of Solomon, that he rejoiceth exceedingly, and saith, `Blessed [is] Jehovah to-day, who hath given to David a wise son over this numerous people.`

⁷Oo markii Xiiraam maqlay hadalkii Sulaymaan ayuu aad u farxay oo yidhi, Maanta waxaa mahad leh Rabbiga Daa'uud siiyey wiil xigmad leh oo u taliya dadkan badan.

⁸And Hiram sendeth unto Solomon, saying, I have heard that which thou hast sent unto me, I do all thy desire concerning cedar-wood, and fir-wood,

⁸Markaasaa Xiiraam Sulaymaan u cid diray oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Waan maqlay farriintii aad ii soo dirtay; oo waan yeelayaa waxaad doonayso oo ku saabsan qoryaha kedarka ah iyo qoryaha berooshka la yidhaahdo.

⁹my servants bring down from Lebanon to the sea, and I make them floats in the sea unto the place that thou sendest unto me, and I have spread them out there; and thou dost take [them] up, and thou dost execute my desire, to give the food of my house.`

⁹Oo addoommadayda ayaa Lubnaan ka soo qaadi doona, oo keeni doona ilaa badda; oo xidhmooyin baan ka dhigayaa si ay badda u raacaan ilaa meeshii aad igula ballantay, oo waxaan ka dhigi doonaa in halkaas lagu kala furfuro, oo waad qaadan doontaa; oo adna waxaan doonayo ayaad ii dhammayn doontaa, adoo reerkayga cunto ii siinaya.

¹⁰And Hiram is giving to Solomon cedar-trees, and fir-trees, all his desire,

¹⁰Sidaasuu Xiiraam u siiyey Sulaymaan qoryo kedar ah iyo qoryo beroosh ah, intuu doonayay oo dhan.

¹¹and Solomon hath given to Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat, food for his house, and twenty cors of beaten oil; thus doth Solomon give to Hiram year by year.

¹¹Sulaymaanna wuxuu Xiiraam siiyey labaatan kun oo kor oo sarreen ah oo reerkiisu quuto, iyo labaatan kor oo saliid saafiya ah; oo Sulaymaan intaasuu sannad kasta siin jiray Xiiraam.

¹²And Jehovah hath given wisdom to Solomon as He spake to him, and there is peace between Hiram and Solomon, and they make a covenant both of them.

¹²Oo Rabbiguna wuxuu Sulaymaan siiyey xigmad siduu ugu ballanqaaday; oo Xiiraam iyo Sulaymaanna nabad baa u dhexaysay, oo labadoodu axdi bay dhigteen.

¹³And king Solomon lifteth up a tribute out of all Israel, and the tribute is thirty thousand men,

¹³Oo Boqor Sulaymaanna wuxuu dadkii Israa'iil oo dhan ka dhex doortay niman shaqaalayaal ah, oo shaqaalayaashuna waxay ahaayeen soddon kun oo nin.

¹⁴and he sendeth them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month, by changes, a month they are in Lebanon, two months in their own house; and Adoniram [is] over the tribute.

¹⁴Oo bishiiba toban kun ayuu Lubnaan u diri jiray; markaasay intii bil ah Lubnaan joogi jireen, laba biloodna reerahooday joogi jireen; oo shaqaalayaasha waxaa u sarreeyey Adoniiraam.

¹⁵And king Solomon hath seventy thousand bearing burdens, and eighty thousand hewing in the mountain,

¹⁵Oo Sulaymaanna wuxuu lahaa toddobaatan kun oo xammaal iyo siddeetan kun oo nin oo buuraha geedo ka jari jiray.

¹⁶apart from the heads of the officers of Solomon, who [are] over the work, three thousand and three hundred, those ruling over the people who are working in the business.

¹⁶Oo laguma tirin Sulaymaan saraakiishiisii sarsare oo hawsha u taliyey, kuwaasoo ahaa saddex kun iyo saddex boqol oo u talin jiray dadkii shuqulka qaban jiray.

¹⁷And the king commandeth, and they bring great stones, precious stone, to lay the foundation of the house, hewn stones;

¹⁷Markaasaa boqorkii amray, oo iyana waxay soo jareen dhagxan waaweyn oo qaali ah, inay dhagxan la qoray ka dhigaan aasaaskii guriga.Oo Sulaymaan waxdhisayaashiisii iyo Xiiraam waxdhisayaashiisii iyo reer Gebal ayaa qoray, oo waxay hagaajiyeen alwaaxdii iyo dhagxantii guriga lagu dhisi lahaa.

¹⁸and the builders of Solomon, and the builders of Hiram, and the Giblites hew, and prepare the wood and the stones to build the house.

¹⁸Oo Sulaymaan waxdhisayaashiisii iyo Xiiraam waxdhisayaashiisii iyo reer Gebal ayaa qoray, oo waxay hagaajiyeen alwaaxdii iyo dhagxantii guriga lagu dhisi lahaa.
