¹Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, ye also with the same mind arm yourselves, because he who did suffer in the flesh hath done with sin,

¹Mar haddii Masiixu jidhka ku xanuunsaday, idinkuna sidaas oo kale isu diyaariya, idinkoo isku maan ah; maxaa yeelay, kii jidhka ku xanuunsaday waa ka joogsaday dembiga,

²no more in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh;

²si wakhtiga idiin hadhay oo aad jidhka ku nooshihiin aydnaan damacyada dadka mar dambe ugu noolaan, laakiinse aad ugu noolaataan doonista Ilaah.

³for sufficient to us [is] the past time of life the will of the nations to have wrought, having walked in lasciviousnesses, desires, excesses of wines, revelings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries,

³Waayo, waxaa idinku filan wakhtigii hore oo aad doonistii dadka aan Ilaah aaminin samayn jirteen, markii aad ku socon jirteen nejisnimo, iyo damacyadii jidhka, iyo sakhraannimo, iyo rabshad, iyo khamricabbid, iyo sanamcaabudid xaaraan ah.

⁴in which they think it strange — your not running with them to the same excess of dissoluteness, speaking evil,

⁴Oo markii aydnaan iyaga u raacin nejisnimadaas badan, way idinla yaabaan oo way idin caayaan.

⁵who shall give an account to Him who is ready to judge living and dead,

⁵Iyagu waxay faleen waxay kala xisaabtami doonaan kan diyaarka u ah inuu xukumo kuwa nool iyo kuwa dhintayba.

⁶for for this also to dead men was good news proclaimed, that they may be judged, indeed, according to men in the flesh, and may live according to God in the spirit.

⁶Waayo, taas aawadeed injiilka waxaa lagu wacdiyey xataa kuwii dhintay in iyaga jidhka lagu xukumo sida dadka, laakiinse ay ruuxa ku noolaadaan sida Ilaah.

⁷And of all things the end hath come nigh; be sober-minded, then, and watch unto the prayers,

⁷Haddaba wax walba dhammaadkoodu wuu dhow yahay, sidaas daraaddeed digtoonaada, oo tukashada u feeyignaada.

⁸and, before all things, to one another having the earnest love, because the love shall cover a multitude of sins;

⁸Wax walba hortood idinku aad isu jeclaada, maxaa yeelay, jacaylku wuxuu qariyaa dembiyo faro badan.

⁹hospitable to one another, without murmuring;

⁹Ismartiqaada gunuunacla'aan.

¹⁰each, according as he received a gift, to one another ministering it, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God;

¹⁰Sida mid waluba u helay hadiyad, idinku isu adeega, sida wakiillo wanaagsan oo helay nimcada Ilaah ee badan ee kala cayncaynka ah.

¹¹if any one doth speak — `as oracles of God;` if any one doth minister — `as of the ability which God doth supply;` that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power — to the ages of the ages. Amen.

¹¹Haddii nin hadlo, ha u hadlo sidii isagoo ku hadlaya ereyga Ilaah; haddii nin adeegona, ha u adeego siduu Ilaah xoogga u siiyo, in wax walbaba Ilaah ku ammaanmo Ciise Masiix, kaasoo weligiis iyo weligiisba leh ammaanta iyo dowladnimadaba. Aamiin.

¹²Beloved, think it not strange at the fiery suffering among you that is coming to try you, as if a strange thing were happening to you,

¹²Gacaliyayaalow, ha la yaabina jirrabaadda dabka ah oo idinku dhex dhacday in laydiin tijaabiyo sida iyadoo ay idinku dhaceen wax la yaab lihi.

¹³but, according as ye have fellowship with the sufferings of the Christ, rejoice ye, that also in the revelation of his glory ye may rejoice — exulting;

¹³Laakiinse sidaad u tihiin kuwo ka qayb qaatay waxyaalaha Masiixu ku xanuunsaday, farxa, inaad farxad aad u weyn ku faraxdaan marka ammaantiisa la muujiyo.

¹⁴if ye be reproached in the name of Christ — happy [are ye], because the Spirit of glory and of God upon you doth rest; in regard, indeed, to them, he is evil-spoken of, and in regard to you, he is glorified;

¹⁴Haddii magaca Masiix aawadiis laydin caayo, waad barakaysan tihiin, maxaa yeelay, waxaa idin dul jooga Ruuxa ammaanta oo ah Ruuxa Ilaah.

¹⁵for let none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evil-doer, or as an inspector into other men`s matters;

¹⁵Haddaba midkiinna yuusan u xanuunsan sida isagoo ah gacankudhiigle, ama tuug, ama sharfale, ama mid faraggeliya axwaasha dadka kale.

¹⁶and if as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; and let him glorify God in this respect;

¹⁶Laakiin haddii nin u xanuunsado sida isagoo Masiixi ah, yaanu ceebsan, laakiinse Ilaah ha ku ammaano magacan.

¹⁷because it is the time of the beginning of the judgment from the house of God, and if first from us, what the end of those disobedient to the good news of God?

¹⁷Waayo, waxaa la gaadhay wakhtigii dadka Ilaah xukunka laga bilaabi lahaa, oo haddii innaga marka hore laynaga bilaabo, kuwa aan injiilka Ilaah addeecin muxuu aakhirkoodu ahaan doonaa?

¹⁸And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, the ungodly and sinner — where shall he appear?

¹⁸Haddaba haddii kan xaqa ahu si dhib leh ku badbaado, xaggee bay ka muuqan doonaan cibaadalaawaha iyo dembiluhu?Sidaas daraaddeed kuwa doonista Ilaah u xanuunsada, iyagoo samafalaya, naftooda ammaano ha ugu dhiibeen Abuuraha aaminka ah.

¹⁹so that also those suffering according to the will of god, as to a stedfast Creator, let them commit their own souls in good doing.

¹⁹Sidaas daraaddeed kuwa doonista Ilaah u xanuunsada, iyagoo samafalaya, naftooda ammaano ha ugu dhiibeen Abuuraha aaminka ah.
