1And after these things, Paul having departed out of Athens, came to Corinth,
1Waxyaalahaas dabadeed Ateenay ayuu ka tegey, oo wuxuu yimid Korintos.
2and having found a certain Jew, by name Aquilas, of Pontus by birth, lately come from Italy, and Priscilla his wife — because of Claudius having directed all the Jews to depart out of Rome — he came to them,
2Meeshaasna wuxuu ka helay Yuhuudi Akula la odhan jiray, oo reer Bontos ah, oo mar dhow haweenaydiisa Bariskilla kala yimid Itaaliya, maxaa yeelay, Kalawdiyos baa ku amray Yuhuudda oo dhan inay Rooma ka tagaan; wuuna u yimid iyagii.
3and because of being of the same craft, he did remain with them, and was working, for they were tent-makers as to craft;
3Isaguna la shuqul buu ahaa, sidaas darteed ayuu ula joogay iyagii, wayna shaqeeyeen; waayo, xagga shuqulkooda waxay ahaayeen taambuug-sameeyayaal.
4and he was reasoning in the synagogue every sabbath, persuading both Jews and Greeks.
4Oo wuxuu sabti walba sunagogga kula doodi jiray oo soo jeedin jiray Yuhuud iyo Gariigba.
5And when both Silas and Timotheus came down from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the Spirit, testifying fully to the Jews Jesus the Christ;
5Laakiin markii Silas iyo Timoteyos Makedoniya ka yimaadeen, hadalka ayaa haystay Bawlos isagoo Yuhuudda hortooda ka sheegaya in Ciise yahay Masiixa.
6and on their resisting and speaking evil, having shaken [his] garments, he said unto them, `Your blood [is] upon your head — I am clean; henceforth to the nations I will go on.`
6Oo markay is hor taageen oo caytameen, isagu dharkiisuu hurgufay oo ku yidhi iyagii, Dhiiggiinnu madaxiinna ha dul ahaado; anigu nadiif baan ahay, hadda ka dib waxaan u tegi doonaa dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn.
7And having departed thence, he went to the house of a certain one, by name Justus, a worshipper of God, whose house was adjoining the synagogue,
7Markaasuu meeshaas ka tegey, oo wuxuu galay gurigii ninka Tiitos Yuustos la odhan jiray, kaasoo Ilaah caabudi jiray, oo gurigiisu ku xigay sunagogga.
8and Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue did believe in the Lord with all his house, and many of the Corinthians hearing were believing, and they were being baptized.
8Markaasaa Kirisbos oo sunagogga u sarreeyey baa Rabbiga rumaystay, isaga iyo kuwii gurigiisa oo dhanba; kuwo badan oo reer Korintos ahna ayaa markay maqleen rumaystay, oo waa la baabtiisay.
9And the Lord said through a vision in the night to Paul, `Be not afraid, but be speaking and thou mayest be not silent;
9Haddaba Rabbiga ayaa wuxuu Bawlos habeennimo riyo ku yidhi, Ha cabsanin, laakiin hadal, hana aamusin;
10because I am with thee, and no one shall set on thee to do thee evil; because I have much people in this city;`
10maxaa yeelay, anaa kula jooga, ninnana kuma dhici doono inuu wax ku yeelo, waayo, dad badan baan magaaladan ku leeyahay.
11and he continued a year and six months, teaching among them the word of God.
11Meeshaasna sannad iyo lix bilood ayuu joogay, oo wuxuu dhexdooda barayay ereyga Ilaah.
12And Gallio being proconsul of Achaia, the Jews made a rush with one accord upon Paul, and brought him unto the tribunal,
12Laakiin kolkii Galliyo ahaa taliyaha Akhaya, Yuhuuddii oo isku qalbi ah baa ku kacday Bawlos, oo waxay hor keeneen kursigii xukumaadda iyagoo leh,
13saying — `Against the law this one doth persuade men to worship God;`
13Ninkanu wuxuu dadka yeelsiiyaa inay Ilaah u caabudaan si sharciga ka gees ah.
14and Paul being about to open [his] mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, `If, indeed, then, it was anything unrighteous, or an act of wicked profligacy, O Jews, according to reason I had borne with you,
14Laakiin kolkii Bawlos u dhowaa inuu afkiisa kala qaado ayaa Galliyo Yuhuuddii ku yidhi, Kuwiinnan Yuhuudda ahow, xaajadii hadday tahay xaqdarro ama xumaan shar ah, sababtaas waan idiinku dulqaadan lahaa;
15but if it is a question concerning words and names, and of your law, look ye yourselves [to it], for a judge of these things I do not wish to be,`
15laakiin hadday yihiin su'aalo ku saabsan hadallo iyo magacyo iyo sharcigiinna, idinka qudhiinnu fiiriya, maxaa yeelay, anigu dooni maayo inaan waxyaalahaas xaakin u ahaado.
16and he drave them from the tribunal;
16Markaasuu iyagii ka eryay kursigii xukumaadda.
17and all the Greeks having taken Sosthenes, the chief man of the synagogue, were beating [him] before the tribunal, and not even for these things was Gallio caring.
17Kolkaasay kulligood waxay qabteen Sostenees oo sunagogga u sarreeyey, wayna ku garaaceen isagii kursigii xukumaadda hortiisa. Galliyona dan kama gelin waxyaalahaas.
18And Paul having remained yet a good many days, having taken leave of the brethren, was sailing to Syria — and with him [are] Priscilla and Aquilas — having shorn [his] head in Cenchera, for he had a vow;
18Markaasaa Bawlos maalmo badan sii joogay, dabadeed ayuu walaalihii ka tegey, oo wuxuu u dhoofay Suuriya, isagoo ay la socdaan Bariskilla iyo Akula, wuxuuna Kenekhreya hore ugu xiirtay madaxa, maxaa yeelay, nidar buu galay.
19and he came down to Ephesus, and did leave them there, and he himself having entered into the synagogue did reason with the Jews:
19Markaasay waxay yimaadeen Efesos, oo halkaasuu iyagii kaga tegey; laakiin isagu wuxuu galay sunagogga oo la dooday Yuhuuddii.
20and they having requested [him] to remain a longer time with them, he did not consent,
20Oo markay weyddiisteen inuu wakhti ka sii dheer joogo, ma uu oggolaan;
21but took leave of them, saying, `It behoveth me by all means the coming feast to keep at Jerusalem, and again I will return unto you — God willing.` And he sailed from Ephesus,
21laakiin markuu ka tegey ayuu ku yidhi, Mar kalaan idiin soo noqon doonaa haddii Ilaah doonayo, markaasuu Efesos ka dhoofay.
22and having come down to Cesarea, having gone up, and having saluted the assembly, he went down to Antioch.
22Oo markuu Kaysariya ku soo degay, ayuu wuxuu u aaday oo salaamay kiniisadda, markaasuu Antiyokh aaday.
23And having made some stay he went forth, going through in order the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.
23Markuu intii mudda ah meeshaas joogayna, wuu ka tegey, markaasuu meel meel u sii dhex maray dalalka Galatiya iyo Farugiya isagoo xertii adkaynaya.
24And a certain Jew, Apollos by name, an Alexandrian by birth, a man of eloquence, being mighty in the Writings, came to Ephesus,
24Haddaba waxaa Efesos yimid Yuhuudi Abolloos la odhan jiray oo reer Iskanderiya ahaa, oo wuxuu ahaa nin hadalyaqaan ah, oo Qorniinka garasho xoog leh u leh.
25this one was instructed in the way of the Lord, and being fervent in the Spirit, was speaking and teaching exactly the things about the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John;
25Ninkaas jidka Rabbiga hore baa loo baray; oo isagoo ruuxa ku kulul ayuu ku hadlay oo hagaag u baray waxyaalihii Ciise ku saabsanaa, isagoo garanaya baabtiiskii Yooxanaa oo keliya;
26this one also began to speak boldly in the synagogue, and Aquilas and Priscilla having heard of him, took him to [them], and did more exactly expound to him the way of God,
26oo wuxuu bilaabay inuu geesinimo kaga dhex hadlo sunagogga. Laakiin Bariskilla iyo Akula, markay maqleen isagii, ayay kaxaysteen, kolkaasay aad ugu sii caddeeyeen jidka Ilaah.
27and he being minded to go through into Achaia, the brethren wrote to the disciples, having exhorted them to receive him, who having come, did help them much who have believed through the grace,
27Oo markuu damcay inuu u sii dhaafo Akhaya, ayaa walaalihii dhiiro geliyeen, oo waxay xerta u qoreen inay soo dhoweeyaan isagii; markuu yimidna aad buu u caawiyey iyagii, kuwaasoo nimco ku rumaystay,maxaa yeelay, si xoog leh ayuu Yuhuuddii u garansiiyey oo caddaan ugu tusay Qorniinka in Ciise yahay Masiixa.
28for powerfully the Jews he was refuting publicly, shewing through the Writings Jesus to be the Christ.
28maxaa yeelay, si xoog leh ayuu Yuhuuddii u garansiiyey oo caddaan ugu tusay Qorniinka in Ciise yahay Masiixa.
