¹Therefore, we also having so great a cloud of witnesses set around us, every weight having put off, and the closely besetting sin, through endurance may we run the contest that is set before us,

¹Sidaas daraaddeed, innagoo haysanna markhaatiyaal badan oo sida daruur u weyn oo inagu wareegsan, aynu iska dhigno culays kasta iyo dembiga dhibyaraanta inoogu dhegaya, oo aynu adkaysasho ku orodno tartanka ina hor yaal,

²looking to the author and perfecter of faith — Jesus, who, over-against the joy set before him — did endure a cross, shame having despised, on the right hand also of the throne of God did sit down;

²innagoo fiirinayna Ciise oo ah Bilaabaha iyo Dhammeeyaha rumaysadkeenna, kii farxaddii hor tiil daraaddeed u adkaystay iskutallaabta, isagoo fududaysanaya ceebta, oo fadhiistay midigta carshiga Ilaah.

³for consider again him who endured such gainsaying from the sinners to himself, that ye may not be wearied in your souls — being faint.

³Haddaba ka fiirsada kii u adkaystay hadalkii ka geesta ahaa oo dembilayaasha inaydnaan daalin oo aanay nafihiinnu itaal beelin.

⁴Not yet unto blood did ye resist — with the sin striving;

⁴Idinkoo dembi la dagaallamaya weli iskama aydnaan celin ilaa dhiig idinka daato.

⁵and ye have forgotten the exhortation that doth speak fully with you as with sons, `My son, be not despising chastening of the Lord, nor be faint, being reproved by Him,

⁵Waxaad illowdeen waanada idiinla hadasha sida wiilal oo kale. Wiilkaygiiyow, ha fududaysan Rabbiga edbintiisa, Hana itaal beelin kolkuu ku canaanto.

⁶for whom the Lord doth love He doth chasten, and He scourgeth every son whom He receiveth;`

⁶Waayo, ka uu Rabbigu jecel yahay ayuu edbiyaa, Wuuna karbaashaa wiil kasta oo uu aqbalo.

⁷if chastening ye endure, as to sons God beareth Himself to you, for who is a son whom a father doth not chasten?

⁷U adkaysta edbinta. Ilaah wuxuu idiinla macaamiloodaa sida wiilal oo kale; waayo, waa wiilkee kan aanu aabbihii edbin?

⁸and if ye are apart from chastening, of which all have become partakers, then bastards are ye, and not sons.

⁸Laakiin haddaan laydinku edbin edbinta laga wada qayb galo, haddaba waxaad tihiin garacyo, oo wiilashiisii ma ihidin.

⁹Then, indeed, fathers of our flesh we have had, chastising [us], and we were reverencing [them]; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of the spirits, and live?

⁹Oo weliba waxaynu lahayn aabbayaal xagga jidhka ah, oo ina edbiyey, oo waynu maamuusnay. Miyaynan intaas in ka badan ka dambaynayn Aabbaha ruuxyada oo aynaan noolaannayn?

¹⁰for they, indeed, for a few days, according to what seemed good to them, were chastening, but He for profit, to be partakers of His separation;

¹⁰Waayo, iyagu dhawr maalmood ayay inoo edbiyeen sidii la wanaagsanayd, laakiin isagu wuxuu inoo edbiya si inoo faa'iido ah si aynu uga qayb galno quduusnimadiisa.

¹¹and all chastening for the present, indeed, doth not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, yet afterward the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it — it doth yield.

¹¹Edbinina wakhtiga la joogo uma eka mid lagu farxo, laakiin waxay u eg tahay mid caloolxumo leh, laakiin dabadeedto waxay kuwii lagu edbiyey u dhashaa midho nabad iyo xaqnimo ah.

¹²Wherefore, the hanging-down hands and the loosened knees set ye up;

¹²Sidaas daraaddeed xoogeeya gacmaha taagta daran iyo jilbaha tabarta yar.

¹³and straight paths make for your feet, that that which is lame may not be turned aside, but rather be healed;

¹³Cagihiinnana waddooyin toosan u sameeya si aan curyaanku u murkacan laakiin u bogsado.

¹⁴peace pursue with all, and the separation, apart from which no one shall see the Lord,

¹⁴Nabad kula dadaala dadka oo dhan, iyo quduusnaanta aan la'aanteed ninna Rabbiga arki doonin.

¹⁵looking diligently over lest any one be failing of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up may give trouble, and through this many may be defiled;

¹⁵Fiiro u yeesha si aan ninna u gaadhi waayin nimcada Ilaah, waaba intaasoo xidid qadhaadhi soo baxaa oo idin dhibaa, oo qaar badanu ku nijaasoobaane,

¹⁶lest any one be a fornicator, or a profane person, as Esau, who in exchange for one morsel of food did sell his birthright,

¹⁶si aan dhillay u jirin ama qof cibaado la' sidii Ceesaw oo ahaa kii curadnimadiisii kala baxay wuxoogaa cunto ah.

¹⁷for ye know that also afterwards, wishing to inherit the blessing, he was disapproved of, for a place of reformation he found not, though with tears having sought it.

¹⁷Waayo, waad og tihiin, xataa kolkuu dabadeedto jeclaaday inuu dhaxlo barakada, in loo diiday, in kastoo uu doondoonay, isagoo ilmo daadinaya, waayo, ma uu helin meel uu ka soo noqdo.

¹⁸For ye came not near to the mount touched and scorched with fire, and to blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

¹⁸Waayo, ma aydnaan iman buurtii la taaban karay, oo ololaysay, iyo madowgii, iyo gudcurkii, iyo duufaankii,

¹⁹and a sound of a trumpet, and a voice of sayings, which those having heard did entreat that a word might not be added to them,

¹⁹iyo dhawaaqii buunka, iyo codkii erayada, oo ahaa codkii ay kuwii maqlay Muuse ka baryeen inaan eray dambe lagula hadlin.

²⁰for they were not bearing that which is commanded, `And if a beast may touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or with an arrow shot through,`

²⁰Waayo, uma ay adkaysan karin wixii lagu amray, markii lagu yidhi, Xataa haddii neef buurta taabto, waa la dhagxin doonaa.

²¹and, (so terrible was the sight,) Moses said, `I am fearful exceedingly, and trembling.`

²²But, ye came to Mount Zion, and to a city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of messengers,

²²Laakiin idinku waxaad timaadeen Buur Siyoon iyo magaaladii Ilaaha nool oo ah Yeruusaalemtii jannada, oo waxaad u timaadeen guutooyin malaa'igo ah oo isu soo ururay,

²³to the company and assembly of the first-born in heaven enrolled, and to God the judge of all, and to spirits of righteous men made perfect,

²³iyo kiniisadda curadyada oo ku qoran jannada, iyo Ilaaha ah Xaakinka wax kasta, iyo ruuxyada kuwa qumman oo la kaamilay,

²⁴and to a mediator of a new covenant — Jesus, and to blood of sprinkling, speaking better things than that of Abel!

²⁴iyo Ciise oo ah dhexdhexaadiyaha axdiga cusub, iyo dhiigga rushaynta oo u hadla si ka wanaagsan kii Haabiil.

²⁵See, may ye not refuse him who is speaking, for if those did not escape who refused him who upon earth was divinely speaking — much less we who do turn away from him who [speaketh] from heaven,

²⁵Digtoonaada si aydnaan u diidin kan hadlaya; waayo, haddayan baxsan kuwii diiday kii dhulka ku waaniyey, si ka badan innaguna ma baxsan doonno haddaynu ka jeesanno kan jannada ka hadlaya,

²⁶whose voice the earth shook then, and now hath he promised, saying, `Yet once — I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven;`

²⁶kan codkiisii wakhtigaas gariiriyey dhulka; laakiin hadda wuu ballanqaaday isagoo leh, Weliba mar kale ayaan gariirin doonaa dhulka, dhulka oo keliyana ma aha ee xataa samadana waan gariirin doonaa.

²⁷and this — `Yet once` — doth make evident the removal of the things shaken, as of things having been made, that the things not shaken may remain;

²⁷Erayadii ahaa, Weliba mar kale, micnehoodu waxaa weeye in la qaadi doono waxyaalihii la gariiriyey sidii waxyaalo la sameeyey, si waxyaalihii aan la gariirinu u hadhaan.

²⁸wherefore, a kingdom that cannot be shaken receiving, may we have grace, through which we may serve God well-pleasingly, with reverence and religious fear;

²⁸Sidaas daraaddeed innagoo helayna boqortooyo aan la gariirin karin, aynu mahad naqno si aynu Ilaah uga farxinno innagoo cibaado iyo cabsi ugu adeegayna;waayo, Ilaaheennu waa dab wax baabbi'iya.

²⁹for also our God [is] a consuming fire.

²⁹waayo, Ilaaheennu waa dab wax baabbi'iya.
