¹And it cometh to pass, in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, spoken unto me hath Hananiah son of Azur the prophet, who [is] of Gibeon, in the house of Jehovah, before the eyes of the priests, and all the people, saying,

¹Oo isla sannaddaasba, bilowgii boqornimadii Sidqiyaah uu boqorka ka ahaa dalka Yahuudah, sannaddii afraad bisheedii shanaad ayaa Xananyaah ina Casuur oo ahaa nebigii Gibecoon ka yimid igula hadlay guriga Rabbiga dhexdiisa iyadoo ay wada joogaan wadaaddadii iyo dadkii oo dhammu, oo wuxuu igu yidhi,

²`Thus spake Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon;

²Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu harqoodkii boqorka Baabuloon waan jebiyey.

³Within two years of days I am bringing back unto this place all the vessels of the house of Jehovah that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon hath taken from this place, and doth carry to Babylon,

³Intaanay laba sannadood dhammaan ayaan halkan ku soo celin doonaa weelashii guriga Rabbiga oo uu Nebukadnesar oo ah boqorka Baabuloon halkan ka qaatay, oo uu Baabuloon la tegey.

⁴And Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the removed of Judah, who are entering Babylon, I am bringing back unto this place — an affirmation of Jehovah; for I do break the yoke of the king of Babylon.`

⁴Oo Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaan halkan ku soo celin doonaa Yekonyaah ina Yehooyaaqiim oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudah, iyo maxaabiistii dadka Yahuudah ee Baabuloon lala tegey oo dhan, waayo, harqoodka boqorka Baabuloon waan jebin doonaa.

⁵And Jeremiah the prophet saith unto Hananiah the prophet, before the eyes of the priests, and before the eyes of all the people who are standing in the house of Jehovah,

⁵Markaas Nebi Yeremyaah baa la hadlay Nebi Xananyaah iyadoo ay wada joogaan wadaaddadii iyo dadkii guriga Rabbiga dhex taagnaa oo dhammu.

⁶Yea, Jeremiah the prophet saith, `Amen! so may Jehovah do; Jehovah establish thy words that thou hast prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the house of Jehovah and all the removal from Babylon, unto this place.

⁶Oo Nebi Yeremyaah wuxuu yidhi, Aamiin, Rabbigu saas ha yeelo. Rabbigu ha wada sameeyo erayadii aad sii sheegtay oo weelashii guriga Rabbiga ha soo celiyo, oo kuwii maxaabiis ahaanta loo kaxaystay oo dhan Baabuloon ha ka soo celiyo oo meeshan ha keeno.

⁷`Only, hear, I pray thee, this word that I am speaking in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people.

⁷Hase ahaatee bal adigu haatan maqal eraygan aan kula hadlayo dhegahaaga iyo dhegaha dadkan oo dhan.

⁸The prophets who have been before me, and before thee, from of old, even they prophesy concerning many lands, and concerning great kingdoms, of battle, and of evil, and of pestilence.

⁸Nebiyadii waayihii hore oo aniga iyo adigaba inaga sii horreeyey waxay waddammo badan iyo boqortooyooyin waaweyn wax kaga sii sheegeen dagaal iyo masiibo iyo belaayo.

⁹The prophet who doth prophesy of peace — by the coming in of the word of the prophet, known is the prophet that Jehovah hath truly sent him.`

⁹Nebigii nabad wax ka sii sheega, oo uu eraygii nebigaasu run noqdo, markaas nebigaas waxaa loo aqoonsadaa in Rabbigu isaga dhab ahaan u soo diray.

¹⁰And Hananiah the prophet taketh the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, and breaketh it,

¹⁰Kolkaasaa Nebi Xananyaah harqoodkii qoortii Nebi Yeremyaah ka qaaday oo uu kala jebiyey.

¹¹And Hananiah speaketh before the eyes of all the people, saying, `Thus said Jehovah, Thus I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, within two years of days, from off the neck of all the nations;` and Jeremiah the prophet goeth on his way.

¹¹Markaasaa Xananyaah dadkii oo dhan hortiisa ku hadlay oo wuxuu yidhi, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Sidaas oo kale intaanay laba sannadood dhammaan ayaan quruumaha oo dhan uga jebin doonaa harqoodka Nebukadnesar oo ah boqorka Baabuloon. Kolkaasaa Nebi Yeremyaah iska tegey.

¹²And there is a word of Jehovah unto Jeremiah after the breaking, by Hananiah the prophet, of the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

¹²Oo markii Nebi Xananyaah uu harqoodkii ka jebiyey qoortii Nebi Yeremyaah dabadeed ayaa eraygii Rabbigu u yimid Nebi Yeremyaah, isagoo leh,

¹³`Go, and thou hast spoken unto Hananiah, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Yokes of wood thou hast broken, and I have made instead of them yokes of iron;

¹³Tag, oo waxaad Xananyaah ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu kugu leeyahay, Adigu waxaad jebisay harqoodkii qoriga ahaa, laakiinse waxaad meeshiisa ka yeelan doontaa harqood bir ah.

¹⁴For thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, A yoke of iron I have put on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they have served him, and also the beast of the field I have given to him.`

¹⁴Waayo, Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Quruumahan oo dhan waxaan qoortooda kor saaray harqood bir ah, si ay ugu adeegaan boqorka Baabuloon oo ah Nebukadnesar, oo iyana way u adeegi doonaan, oo weliba xayawaanka duurkana isagaan siiyey.

¹⁵And Jeremiah the prophet saith unto Hananiah the prophet, `Hear, I pray thee, O Hananiah; Jehovah hath not sent thee, and thou hast caused this people to trust on falsehood.

¹⁵Markaas Nebi Yeremyaah wuxuu Nebi Xananyaah ku yidhi, Xananyaahow, bal haatan i maqal. Rabbigu kuma soo dirin, laakiinse waxaad dadkan ka dhigaysaa inay been isku halleeyaan.

¹⁶Therefore thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am casting thee from off the face of the ground; this year thou diest, for apostacy thou hast spoken concerning Jehovah.`

¹⁶Sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogow, anigu waan kaa fogayn doonaa dhulka korkiisa, oo isla sannaddan ayaad dhiman doontaa, maxaa yeelay, waxaad ku hadashay caasinimo Rabbiga ka gees ah.Sidaas daraaddeed Nebi Xananyaah isla sannaddaas bisheedii toddobaad ayuu dhintay.

¹⁷And Hananiah the prophet dieth in that year, in the seventh month.
