¹A Psalm of Asaph. O God, nations have come into Thy inheritance, They have defiled Thy holy temple, They made Jerusalem become heaps,

¹Ilaahow, quruumihii kale waxay u soo galeen dhaxalkaagii, Macbudkaagii quduuska ahaana way nijaaseeyeen, Oo Yeruusaalemna waxay ka dhigeen tuulmooyin.

²They gave the dead bodies of Thy servants Food for the fowls of the heavens, The flesh of Thy saints For the wild beast of the earth.

²Meydadkii addoommadaada waxay cunto uga dhigeen haadka samada, Oo hilibkii quduusiintaadana waxay cunto uga dhigeen dugaagga dhulka.

³They have shed their blood As water round about Jerusalem, And there is none burying.

³Dhiiggoodiina waxay Yeruusaalem hareeraheeda ugu daadiyeen sidii biyo oo kale, Cid aastaana ma jirin.

⁴We have been a reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and a derision to our surrounders.

⁴Waxaannu cay u noqonnay derisyadayadii, Kuwa nagu wareegsanna wax la quudhsado oo lagu qoslo.

⁵Till when, O Jehovah? art Thou angry for ever? Thy jealousy doth burn as fire.

⁵Rabbiyow, ilaa goormaad noo cadhaysnaan doontaa? Ma weligaa baa? Masayrkaagu ma sida dab buu u ololi doonaa?

⁶Pour Thy fury on the nations who have not known Thee, And on kingdoms that have not called in Thy name.

⁶Cadhadaada ku soo deji quruumaha aan ku aqoon, Iyo boqortooyooyinka aan magacaaga kugu baryin.

⁷For [one] hath devoured Jacob, And his habitation they have made desolate.

⁷Waayo, waxay laayeen reer Yacquub, Rugtoodiina way baabbi'iyeen.

⁸Remember not for us the iniquities of forefathers, Haste, let Thy mercies go before us, For we have been very weak.

⁸Ha noo xusuusnaan dembiyadii awowayaashayo, Naxariistaadu dhaqsiyo ha noogu timaado, Waayo, aad baa lanoo dhibay.

⁹Help us, O God of our salvation, Because of the honour of Thy name, And deliver us, and cover over our sins, For Thy name`s sake.

⁹Ilaaha badbaadadayadow, magacaaga ammaantiisa daraaddeed noo caawi, Oo magacaaga daraaddiis noo samatabbixi, oo dembiyadayada naga nadiifi.

¹⁰Why do the nations say, `Where [is] their God?` Let be known among the nations before our eyes, The vengeance of the blood of Thy servants that is shed.

¹⁰Bal maxaa quruumuhu u leeyihiin, Ilaahoodu meeh? Dhiiggii addoommadaada oo ay daadiyeen aargoosashadiisii Ha lagu ogaado quruumaha dhexdooda annagoo arkayna.

¹¹Let the groaning of the prisoner come in before Thee, According to the greatness of Thine arm, Leave Thou the sons of death.

¹¹Maxbuuska taahiisu hortaada ha yimaado, Xooggaaga weynaantiisa ku badbaadi kuwa dhimashada lagu xukumay.

¹²And turn Thou back to our neighbours, Sevenfold unto their bosom, their reproach, Wherewith they reproached Thee, O Lord.

¹²Sayidow, derisyadayada toddoba jibbaar ugu abaal mari, Oo laabta u geli caydii ay kugu caayeen.Haddaba annagoo ah dadkaaga iyo idihii daaqsintaada Waannu kugu mahad naqaynaa weligayo, Oo ammaantaada waannu ka sheekaysan doonnaa tan iyo ka ab ka ab.

¹³And we, Thy people, and the flock of Thy pasture, We give thanks to Thee to the age, To all generations we recount Thy praise!
