1This [is] an account of the births of Adam: In the day of God`s preparing man, in the likeness of God He hath made him;
1ஆதாமின் வம்சவரலாறு: தேவன் மனுஷனைச் சிருஷ்டித்த நாளிலே அவனைத் தேவசாயலாக உண்டாக்கினார்.
2a male and a female He hath prepared them, and He blesseth them, and calleth their name Man, in the day of their being prepared.
2அவர்களை ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாகச் சிருஷ்டித்து, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவர்களைச் சிருஷ்டித்த நாளிலே அவர்களுக்கு மனுஷர் என்று பேரிட்டார்.
3And Adam liveth an hundred and thirty years, and begetteth [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calleth his name Seth.
3ஆதாம் நூற்று முப்பது வயதானபோது, தன் சாயலாகத் தன் ரூபத்தின்படியே ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று, அவனுக்குச் சேத் என்று பேரிட்டான்.
4And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years, and he begetteth sons and daughters.
4ஆதாம் சேத்தைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூறு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
5And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dieth.
5ஆதாம் உயிரோடிருந்த நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து முப்பது வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
6And Seth liveth an hundred and five years, and begetteth Enos.
6சேத் நூற்றைந்து வயதானபோது, ஏனோசைப் பெற்றான்.
7And Seth liveth after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
7சேத் ஏனோசைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்றேழு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
8And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dieth.
8சேத்துடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்துப் பன்னிரண்டு வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
9And Enos liveth ninety years, and begetteth Cainan.
9ஏனோஸ் தொண்ணூறு வயதானபோது, கேனானைப் பெற்றான்.
10And Enos liveth after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
10ஏனோஸ் கேனானைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்றுப் பதினைந்து வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
11And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dieth.
11ஏனோசுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து ஐந்து வருஷம், அவன் மரித்தான்.
12And Cainan liveth seventy years, and begetteth Mahalaleel.
12கேனான் எழுபது வயதானபோது, மகலாலெயேலைப் பெற்றான்.
13And Cainan liveth after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
13கேனான் மகலாலெயேலைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்று நாற்பது வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
14And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dieth.
14கேனானுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்துப் பத்து வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
15And Mahalaleel liveth five and sixty years, and begetteth Jared.
15மகலாலெயேல் அறுபத்தைந்து வயதானபோது, யாரேதைப் பெற்றான்.
16And Mahalaleel liveth after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
16மகலாலெயேல் யாரேதைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூற்று முப்பது வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும், குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
17And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety and five years, and he dieth.
17மகலாலெயேலுடைய நாளெல்லாம் எண்ணூற்றுத் தொண்ணூற்று ஐந்து வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
18And Jared liveth an hundred and sixty and two years, and begetteth Enoch.
18யாரேத் நூற்று அறுபத்திரண்டு வயதானபோது, ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றான்.
19And Jared liveth after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
19யாரேத் ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றபின், எண்ணூறு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
20And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty and two years, and he dieth.
20யாரேதுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து அறுபத்திரண்டு வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
21And Enoch liveth five and sixty years, and begetteth Methuselah.
21ஏனோக்கு அறுபத்தைந்து வயதானபோது, மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெற்றான்.
22And Enoch walketh habitually with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
22ஏனோக்கு மெத்தூசலாவைப் பெற்றபின், முந்நூறு வருஷம் தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருந்து, குமாரரையும், குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
23And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty and five years.
23ஏனோக்குடைய நாளெல்லாம் முந்நூற்று அறுபத்தைந்து வருஷம்.
24And Enoch walketh habitually with God, and he is not, for God hath taken him.
24ஏனோக்கு தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், காணப்படாமற்போனான்; தேவன் அவனை எடுத்துக்கொண்டார்.
25And Methuselah liveth an hundred and eighty and seven years, and begetteth Lamech.
25மெத்தூசலா நூற்றெண்பத்தேழு வயதானபோது, லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றான்.
26And Methuselah liveth after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty and two years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
26மெத்தூசலா லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றபின், எழுநூற்று எண்பத்திரண்டு வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும் குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
27And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty and nine years, and he dieth.
27மெத்தூசலாவுடைய நாளெல்லாம் தொளாயிரத்து அறுபத்தொன்பது வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
28And Lamech liveth an hundred and eighty and two years, and begetteth a son,
28லாமேக்கு நூற்றெண்பத்திரண்டு வயதானபோது, ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெற்று,
29and calleth his name Noah, saying, `This [one] doth comfort us concerning our work, and concerning the labour of our hands, because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.`
29கர்த்தர் சபித்த பூமியிலே நமக்கு உண்டான வேலையிலும், நம்முடைய கைகளின் பிரயாசத்திலும், இவன் நம்மைத் தேற்றுவான் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு நோவா என்று பேரிட்டான்.
30And Lamech liveth after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety and five years, and begetteth sons and daughters.
30லாமேக்கு நோவாவைப் பெற்றபின், ஐந்நூற்றுத் தொண்ணூற்று ஐந்து வருஷம் உயிரோடிருந்து, குமாரரையும், குமாரத்திகளையும் பெற்றான்.
31And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy and seven years, and he dieth.
31லாமேக்குடைய நாளெல்லாம் எழுநூற்று எழுபத்தேழு வருஷம்; அவன் மரித்தான்.
32And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begetteth Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
32நோவா ஐந்நூறு வயதானபோது, சேம், காம், யாப்பேத் என்பவர்களைப் பெற்றான்.
