1ترنيمة المصاعد. من الاعماق صرخت اليك يا رب.
1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.
2يا رب اسمع صوتي لتكن اذناك مصغيتين الى صوت تضرعاتي.
2Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.
3ان كنت تراقب الآثام يا رب يا سيد فمن يقف.
3If thou, Jehovah, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
4لان عندك المغفرة لكي يخاف منك.
4But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.
5انتظرتك يا رب انتظرت نفسي وبكلامه رجوت.
5I wait for Jehovah, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.
6نفسي تنتظر الرب اكثر من المراقبين الصبح اكثر من المراقبين الصبح.
6My soul [waiteth] for the Lord More than watchmen [wait] for the morning; [Yea, more than] watchmen for the morning.
7ليرج اسرائيل الرب لان عند الرب الرحمة وعنده فدى كثير.
7O Israel, hope in Jehovah; For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.
8وهو يفدي اسرائيل من كل آثامه
8And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
