¹وانتسب كل اسرائيل وها هم مكتوبون في سفر ملوك اسرائيل. وسبي يهوذا الى بابل لاجل خيانتهم.

¹And all Israel were registered by genealogy; and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. And Judah was carried away to Babylon because of their transgression.

²والسكان الاولون في ملكهم ومدنهم هم اسرائيل الكهنة واللاويون والنثينيم.

²And the inhabitants that were first in their possessions in their cities were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.

³وسكن في اورشليم من بني يهوذا وبني بنيامين وبني افرايم ومنسّى

³And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh:

⁴عوثاي بن عميهود بن عمري بن إمري بن باني من بني فارص بن يهوذا.

⁴Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pherez the son of Judah.

⁵ومن الشيلونيين عسايا البكر وبنوه.

⁵And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.

⁶ومن بني زارح يعوئيل واخوتهم ست مئة وتسعون.

⁶And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel; and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.

⁷ومن بني بنيامين سلّو بن مشلام بن هودويا بن هسنواة

⁷And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah,

⁸ويبنيا بن يروحام وايلة بن عزي بن مكري ومشلام بن شفطيا بن رعوئيل بن يبنيا.

⁸and Jibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Jibnijah;

⁹واخوتهم حسب مواليدهم تسع مئة وستة وخمسون. كل هؤلاء الرجال رؤوس آباء لبيوت آبائهم

⁹and their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these men were chief fathers in their fathers' houses.

¹⁰ومن الكهنة يدعيا ويهوياريب وياكين

¹⁰And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,

¹¹وعزريا بن حلقيا بن مشلام بن صادوق بن مرايوث بن اخيطوب رئيس بيت الله

¹¹and Azariah the son of Hilkijah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;

¹²وعدايا بن يروحام بن فشحور بن ملكيا ومعساي بن عديئيل بن يحزيره بن مشلام بن مشلّيميت بن إمّير

¹²and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Masai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;

¹³واخوتهم رؤوس بيوت آبائهم الف وسبع مئة وستون جبابرة بأس لعمل خدمة بيت الله.

¹³and their brethren, heads of their fathers' houses, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty; able men for the work of the service of the house of God.

¹⁴ومن اللاويين شمعيا بن حشّوب بن عزريقام بن حشبيا من بني مراري.

¹⁴And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;

¹⁵وبقبقّر وحرش وجلال ومتنيا بن ميخا بن زكري بن آساف

¹⁵and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal; and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;

¹⁶وعوبديا بن شمعيا بن جلال بن يدوثون وبرخيا بن آسا بن القانة الساكن في قرى النطوفاتيين.

¹⁶and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

¹⁷والبوابون شلّوم وعقّوب وطلمون واخيمان واخوتهم. شلوم الراس.

¹⁷And the doorkeepers: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren; Shallum was the chief.

¹⁸وحتى الآن هم في باب الملك الى الشرق. هم البوابون لفرق بني لاوي.

¹⁸And they have been hitherto in the king's gate eastward: they were the doorkeepers in the camps of the children of Levi.

¹⁹وشلوم بن قوري بن ابياساف بن قورح واخوته لبيوت آبائه. القورحيون على عمل الخدمة حراس ابواب الخيمة وآباؤهم على محلّة الرب حراس المدخل.

¹⁹And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, and their fathers, set over the camp of Jehovah, were keepers of the entrance.

²⁰وفينحاس بن العازار كان رئيسا عليهم سابقا والرب معه.

²⁰And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them formerly; Jehovah was with him.

²¹وزكريا بن مشلميا كان بواب باب خيمة الاجتماع.

²¹Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was doorkeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

²²جميع هؤلاء المنتخبين بوابين للابواب مئتان واثنا عشر وقد انتسبوا حسب قراهم. اقامهم داود وصموئيل الرائي على وظائفهم.

²²All these chosen to be doorkeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were registered by genealogy according to their villages: David and Samuel the seer had instituted them in their trust.

²³وكانوا هم وبنوهم على ابواب بيت الرب بيت الخيمة للحراسة.

²³And they and their sons were at the gates of the house of Jehovah, the house of the tent, to keep watch there.

²⁴في الجهات الاربع كان البوابون في الشرق والغرب والشمال والجنوب

²⁴At the four quarters were the doorkeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.

²⁵وكان اخوتهم في قراهم للمجيء معهم في السبعة الايام حينا بعد حين.

²⁵And their brethren, in their villages, were to come after [every] seven days from time to time with them.

²⁶لانه بالوظيفة رؤساء البوابين هؤلاء الاربعة هم لاويون وكانوا على المخادع وعلى خزائن بيت الله.

²⁶For in their trust these four were the chief doorkeepers: they were Levites; and they were over the chambers and over the treasuries of the house of God;

²⁷ونزلوا حول بيت الله لان عليهم الحراسة وعليهم الفتح كل صباح.

²⁷for they stayed round about the house of God during the night, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning [pertained] to them.

²⁸وبعضهم على آنية الخدمة لانهم كانوا يدخلونها بعدد ويخرجونها بعدد.

²⁸And [part] of them had the charge of the instruments of service, for by number they brought them in and by number they brought them out.

²⁹وبعضهم اؤتمنوا على الآنية وعلى كل امتعة القدس وعلى الدقيق والخمر والزيت واللبان والاطياب.

²⁹[Part] of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the holy instruments, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.

³⁰والبعض من بني الكهنة كانوا يركّبون دهون الاطياب.

³⁰And it was [some one] of the sons of the priests who compounded the ointment of the spices.

³¹ومتثيا واحد من اللاويين وهو بكر شلوم القورحي بالوظيفة على عمل المطبوخات.

³¹And Mattithiah of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was in trust over the things that were made in the pans.

³²والبعض من بني القهاتيين من اخوتهم على خبز الوجوه ليهيئوه في كل سبت.

³²And [some] of the sons of the Kohathites, their brethren, were over the loaves to be set in rows, to prepare them every sabbath.

³³فهؤلاء هم المغنون رؤوس آباء اللاويين في المخادع وهم معفون لانه نهارا وليلا عليهم العمل.

³³And these were the singers, chief fathers of the Levites, [who were] in the chambers free from service; for they were employed day and night.

³⁴هؤلاء رؤوس آباء اللاويين. حسب مواليدهم رؤوس. هؤلاء سكنوا في اورشليم

³⁴These are the chief fathers of the Levites, heads according to their families; these dwelt in Jerusalem.

³⁵وفي جبعون سكن ابو جبعون يعوئيل واسم امرأته معكة.

³⁵And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, and his wife's name was Maachah.

³⁶وابنه البكر عبدون ثم صور وقيس وبعل ونير وناداب

³⁶And his son, the firstborn, was Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

³⁷وحدور واخيو وزكريا ومقلوث.

³⁷and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth;

³⁸ومقلوث ولد شمآم. وهم ايضا سكنوا مقابل اخوتهم في اورشليم مع اخوتهم.

³⁸and Mikloth begot Shimeam. And they also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

³⁹ونير ولد قيس وقيس ولد شاول وشاول ولد يهوناثان وملكيشوع وابيناداب واشبعل.

³⁹And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

⁴⁰وابن يهوناثان مريببعل ومريببعل ولد ميخا.

⁴⁰And the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.

⁴¹وبنو ميخا فيثون ومالك وتحريع وآحاز.

⁴¹And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea.

⁴²وآحاز ولد يعرة ويعرة ولد علمث وعزموت وزمري. وزمري ولد موصا

⁴²And Ahaz begot Jarah: and Jarah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;

⁴³وموصا ولد بنعا ورفايا ابنه والعسة ابنه وآصيل ابنه.

⁴³and Moza begot Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

⁴⁴وكان لآصيل ستة بنين وهذه اسماؤهم. عزريقام وبكرو ثم اسماعيل وشعريا وعوبديا وحانان. هؤلاء بنو آصيل

⁴⁴And Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.
