¹في السنة السابعة والعشرين ليربعام ملك اسرائيل ملك عزريا بن امصيا ملك يهوذا.

¹In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amaziah, king of Judah, began to reign.

²كان ابن ست عشرة سنة حين ملك وملك اثنتين وخمسين سنة في اورشليم. واسم امه يكليا من اورشليم.

²He was sixteen years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

³وعمل ما هو مستقيم في عيني الرب حسب كل ما عمل امصيا ابوه.

³And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.

⁴ولكن المرتفعات لم تنتزع بل كان الشعب لا يزالون يذبحون ويوقدون على المرتفعات.

⁴Only, the high places were not removed: the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places.

⁵وضرب الرب الملك فكان ابرص الى يوم وفاته واقام في بيت المرض وكان يوثام ابن الملك على البيت يحكم على شعب الارض.

⁵And Jehovah smote the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

⁶وبقية امور عزريا وكل ما عمل أما هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك يهوذا.

⁶And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

⁷ثم اضطجع عزريا مع آبائه فدفنوه مع آبائه في مدينة داود وملك يوثام ابنه عوضا عنه

⁷And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

⁸في السنة الثامنة والثلاثين لعزريا ملك يهوذا ملك زكريا بن يربعام على اسرائيل في السامرة ستة اشهر.

⁸In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria, six months.

⁹وعمل الشر في عيني الرب كما عمل آباؤه. لم يحد عن خطايا يربعام بن نباط الذي جعل اسرائيل يخطئ.

⁹And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah, according as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

¹⁰ففتن عليه شلوم بن يابيش وضربه امام الشعب فقتله وملك عوضا عنه.

¹⁰And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

¹¹وبقية امور زكريا هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل.

¹¹And the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

¹²ذلك كلام الرب الذي كلم به ياهو قائلا بنو الجيل الرابع يجلسون لك على كرسي اسرائيل. وهكذا كان

¹²This was the word of Jehovah which he spoke to Jehu saying, Thy sons shall sit upon the throne of Israel unto the fourth [generation]. And so it came to pass.

¹³شلّوم بن يابيش ملك في السنة التاسعة والثلاثين لعزّيا ملك يهوذا وملك شهر ايام في السامرة.

¹³Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

¹⁴وصعد منحيم بن جادي من ترصة وجاء الى السامرة وضرب شلّوم بن يابيش في السامرة فقتله وملك عوضا عنه.

¹⁴And Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

¹⁵وبقية امور شلّوم وفتنته التي فتنها هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل.

¹⁵And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

¹⁶حينئذ ضرب منحيم تفصح وكل ما بها وتخومها من ترصة لانهم لم يفتحوا له ضربها وشق جميع حواملها

¹⁶Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and its territory from Tirzah, because they did not open [to him]; and he smote [it]: all the women in it that were with child he ripped up.

¹⁷في السنة التاسعة والثلاثين لعزريا ملك يهوذا ملك منحيم بن جادي على اسرائيل في السامرة عشر سنين

¹⁷In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel, for ten years, in Samaria.

¹⁸وعمل الشر في عيني الرب. لم يحد عن خطايا يربعام بن نباط الذي جعل اسرائيل يخطئ كل ايامه.

¹⁸And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not, all his days, from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

¹⁹فجاء فول ملك اشور على الارض فاعطى منحيم لفول الف وزنة من الفضة لتكون يداه معه ليثبت المملكة في يده.

¹⁹Pul the king of Assyria came against the land; and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to establish the kingdom in his hand.

²⁰ووضع منحيم الفضة على اسرائيل على جميع جبابرة البأس ليدفع لملك اشور خمسين شاقل فضة على كل رجل. فرجع ملك اشور ولم يقم هناك في الارض.

²⁰And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, of all those who were wealthy, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. And the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

²¹وبقية امور منحيم وكل ما عمل أما هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل.

²¹And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

²²ثم اضطجع منحيم مع آبائه وملك فقحيا ابنه عوضا عنه

²²And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.

²³في السنة الخمسين لعزريا ملك يهوذا ملك فقحيا بن منحيم على اسرائيل في السامرة سنتين.

²³In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, for two years.

²⁴وعمل الشر في عيني الرب. لم يحد عن خطايا يربعام بن نباط الذي جعل اسرائيل يخطئ.

²⁴And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

²⁵ففتن عليه فقح بن رمليا ثالثه وضربه في السامرة في قصر بيت الملك مع ارجوب ومع أريه ومعه خمسون رجلا من بني الجلعاديين. قتله وملك عوضا عنه.

²⁵And Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the fortress of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites; and he slew him, and reigned in his stead.

²⁶وبقية امور فقحيا وكل ما عمل ها هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل

²⁶And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

²⁷في السنة الثانية والخمسين لعزريا ملك يهوذا ملك فقح بن رمليا على اسرائيل في السامرة عشرين سنة.

²⁷In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, for twenty years.

²⁸وعمل الشر في عيني الرب. لم يحد عن خطايا يربعام بن نباط الذي جعل اسرائيل يخطئ.

²⁸And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

²⁹في ايام فقح ملك اسرائيل جاء تغلث فلاسر ملك اشور واخذ عيون وآبل بيت معكة ويانوح وقادش وحاصور وجلعاد والجليل كل ارض نفتالي وسباهم الى اشور.

²⁹In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon, and Abel-Beth-Maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.

³⁰وفتن هوشع بن ايلة على فقح بن رمليا وضربه فقتله وملك عوضا عنه في السنة العشرين ليوثام بن عزّيا.

³⁰And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him and slew him; and he reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

³¹وبقية امور فقح وكل ما عمل هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك اسرائيل.

³¹And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

³²في السنة الثانية لفقح بن رمليا ملك اسرائيل ملك يوثام بن عزّيا ملك يهوذا.

³²In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, began to reign.

³³كان ابن خمس وعشرين سنة حين ملك وملك ست عشرة سنة في اورشليم واسم امه يروشا ابنة صادوق.

³³He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

³⁴وعمل ما هو مستقيم في عيني الرب. عمل حسب كل ما عمل عزّيا ابوه.

³⁴And he did what was right in the sight of Jehovah: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

³⁵الا ان المرتفعات لم تنتزع بل كان الشعب لا يزالون يذبحون ويوقدون على المرتفعات. هو بنى الباب الأعلى لبيت الرب.

³⁵Only, the high places were not removed: the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. It was he who built the upper gate of the house of Jehovah.

³⁶وبقية امور يوثام وكل ما عمل أما هي مكتوبة في سفر اخبار الايام لملوك يهوذا.

³⁶And the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

³⁷في تلك الايام ابتدأ الرب يرسل على يهوذا رصين ملك ارام وفقح بن رمليا.

³⁷In those days Jehovah began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.

³⁸واضطجع يوثام مع آبائه ودفن مع آبائه في مدينة داود ابيه وملك آحاز ابنه عوضا عنه

³⁸And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
