¹جميع الوصايا التي انا اوصيكم بها اليوم تحفظون لتعملوها لكي تحيوا وتكثروا وتدخلوا وتمتلكوا الارض التي اقسم الرب لآبائكم.

¹Every commandment which I command thee this day shall ye take heed to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and enter in and possess the land which Jehovah swore unto your fathers.

²وتتذكر كل الطريق التي فيها سار بك الرب الهك هذه الاربعين سنة في القفر لكي يذلّك ويجربك ليعرف ما في قلبك أتحفظ وصاياه ام لا.

²And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or not.

³فاذلّك واجاعك واطعمك المنّ الذي لم تكن تعرفه ولا عرفه آبائك لكي يعلّمك انه ليس بالخبز وحده يحيا الانسان بل بكل ما يخرج من فم الرب يحيا الانسان.

³And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with the manna, which thou hadst not known, and which thy fathers knew not; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread alone, but by everything that goeth out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live.

⁴ثيابك لم تبلى عليك ورجلك لم تتورّم هذه الاربعين سنة.

⁴Thy clothing grew not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

⁵فاعلم في قلبك انه كما يؤدب الانسان ابنه قد ادبك الرب الهك.

⁵And know in thy heart that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee;

⁶واحفظ وصايا الرب الهك لتسلك في طرقه وتتّقيه.

⁶and thou shalt keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

⁷لان الرب الهك آت بك الى ارض جيدة ارض انهار من عيون وغمار تنبع في البقاع والجبال.

⁷For Jehovah thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of water-brooks, of springs, and of deep waters, that gush forth in the valleys and hills;

⁸ارض حنطة وشعير وكرم وتين ورمان. ارض زيتون زيت وعسل.

⁸a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig-trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive-trees and honey;

⁹ارض ليس بالمسكنة تاكل فيها خبزا ولا يعوزك فيها شيء. ارض حجارتها حديد ومن جبالها تحفر نحاسا.

⁹a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, where thou shalt lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose mountains thou wilt dig copper.

¹⁰فمتى اكلت وشبعت تبارك الرب الهك لاجل الارض الجيّدة التي اعطاك.

¹⁰And thou shalt eat and be filled, and shalt bless Jehovah thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

¹¹احترز من ان تنسى الرب الهك ولا تحفظ وصاياه واحكامه وفرائضه التي انا اوصيك بها اليوم.

¹¹Beware that thou forget not Jehovah thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command thee this day;

¹²لئلا اذا اكلت وشبعت وبنيت بيوتا جيّدة وسكنت

¹²lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built and inhabited fine houses,

¹³وكثرت بقرك وغنمك وكثرت لك الفضة والذهب وكثر كل ما لك

¹³and thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied,

¹⁴يرتفع قلبك وتنسى الرب الهك الذي اخرجك من ارض مصر من بيت العبودية.

¹⁴then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget Jehovah thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;

¹⁵الذي سار بك في القفر العظيم المخوف مكان حيّات محرقة وعقارب وعطش حيث ليس ماء. الذي اخرج لك ماء من صخرة الصوّان

¹⁵who led thee through the great and terrible wilderness, [a wilderness of] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there is no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

¹⁶الذي اطعمك في البرية المنّ الذي لم يعرفه آباؤك لكي يذلّك ويجربك لكي يحسن اليك في آخرتك.

¹⁶who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

¹⁷ولئلا تقول في قلبك قوتي وقدرة يدي اصطنعت لي هذه الثروة.

¹⁷-- and thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand has procured me this wealth.

¹⁸بل اذكر الرب الهك انه هو الذي يعطيك قوة لاصطناع الثروة لكي يفي بعهده الذي اقسم به لآبائك كما في هذا اليوم.

¹⁸But thou shalt remember Jehovah thy God, that it is he who giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

¹⁹وان نسيت الرب الهك وذهبت وراء آلهة اخرى وعبدتها وسجدت لها أشهد عليكم اليوم انكم تبيدون لا محالة.

¹⁹And it shall be, if thou do at all forget Jehovah thy God, and go after other gods, and serve them, and bow down to them, I testify against you this day that ye shall utterly perish.

²⁰كالشعوب الذين يبيدهم الرب من امامكم كذلك تبيدون لاجل انكم لم تسمعوا لقول الرب الهكم

²⁰As the nations which Jehovah is causing to perish before you, so shall ye perish; because ye would not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah your God.
