1ولما بني السور واقمت المصاريع وترتب البوابون والمغنون واللاويون
1And it came to pass when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, that the doorkeepers and the singers and the Levites were appointed.
2اقمت حناني اخي وحننيا رئيس القصر على اورشليم لانه كان رجلا امينا يخاف الله اكثر من كثيرين.
2And I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the citadel, charge over Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man and feared God above many.
3وقلت لهما لا تفتح ابواب اورشليم حتى تحمى الشمس وما داموا وقوفا فليغلقوا المصاريع ويقفلوها. وأقيم حراسات من سكان اورشليم كل واحد على حراسته وكل واحد مقابل بيته.
3And I said to them that the gates of Jerusalem should not be opened until the sun was hot, and that they should shut the doors and bar them while they stood by; and that there should be appointed watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one over against his house.
4وكانت المدينة واسعة الجناب وعظيمة والشعب قليلا في وسطها ولم تكن البيوت قد بنيت
4Now the city was large and great; but the people in it were few, and no houses were built.
5فألهمني الهي ان اجمع العظماء والولاة والشعب لاجل الانتساب. فوجدت سفر انتساب الذين صعدوا اولا ووجدت مكتوبا فيه
5And my God put into my heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, for registration by genealogy. And I found a genealogical register of those that had come up at the first, and I found written in it:
6هؤلاء هم بنو الكورة الصاعدون من سبي المسبيين الذين سباهم نبوخذناصّر ملك بابل ورجعوا الى اورشليم ويهوذا كل واحد الى مدينته
6These are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and who came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city;
7الذين جاءوا مع زربابل يشوع نحميا عزريا رعميا نحماني مردخاي بلشان مسفارث بغواي نحوم وبعنة. عدد رجال شعب اسرائيل.
7those who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
8بنو فرعوش الفان ومئة واثنان وسبعون.
8The children of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two.
9بنو شفطيا ثلاث مئة واثنان وسبعون.
9The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two.
10بنو آرح ست مئة واثنان وخمسون.
10The children of Arah, six hundred and fifty-two.
11بنو فحث موآب من بني يشوع ويوآب الفان وثمان مئة وثمانية عشر.
11The children of Pahath-Moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and eighteen.
12بنو عيلام الف ومئتان واربعة وخمسون.
12The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four.
13بنو زتو ثمان مئة وخمسة واربعون.
13The children of Zattu, eight hundred and forty-five.
14بنو زكاي سبع مئة وستون.
14The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
15بنو بنوي ست مئة وثمانية واربعون.
15The children of Binnui, six hundred and forty-eight.
16بنو باباي ست مئة وثمانية وعشرون.
16The children of Bebai, six hundred and twenty-eight.
17بنو عزجد الفان وثلاث مئة واثنان وعشرون.
17The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred and twenty-two.
18بنو ادونيقام ست مئة وسبعة وستون.
18The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-seven.
19بنو بغواي الفان وسبعة وستون.
19The children of Bigvai, two thousand and sixty-seven.
20بنو عادين ست مئة وخمسة وخمسون.
20The children of Adin, six hundred and fifty-five.
21بنو اطّير لحزقيا ثمانية وتسعون.
21The children of Ater of [the family of] Hezekiah, ninety-eight.
22بنو حشوم ثلاث مئة وثمانية وعشرون.
22The children of Hashum, three hundred and twenty-eight.
23بنو بيصاي ثلاث مئة واربعة وعشرون.
23The children of Bezai, three hundred and twenty-four.
24بنو حاريف مئة واثنا عشر.
24The children of Hariph, a hundred and twelve.
25بنو جبعون خمسة وتسعون.
25The children of Gibeon, ninety-five.
26رجال بيت لحم ونطوفة مئة وثمانية وثمانون.
26The men of Bethlehem and Netophah, a hundred and eighty-eight.
27رجال عناثوث مئة وثمانية وعشرون.
27The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight.
28رجال بيت عزموت اثنان واربعون.
28The men of Beth-azmaveth, forty-two.
29رجال قرية يعاريم كفيرة وبئيروت سبع مئة وثلاثة واربعون.
29The men of Kirjath-jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three.
30رجال الرامة وجبع ست مئة وواحد وعشرون.
30The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one.
31رجال مخماس مئة واثنان وعشرون.
31The men of Michmas, a hundred and twenty-two.
32رجال بيت ايل وعاي مئة وثلاثة وعشرون.
32The men of Bethel and Ai, a hundred and twenty-three.
33رجال نبو الاخرى اثنان وخمسون.
33The men of the other Nebo, fifty-two.
34بنو عيلام الآخر الف ومئتان واربعة وخمسون.
34The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four.
35بنو حاريم ثلاث مئة وعشرون.
35The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
36بنو اريحا ثلاث مئة وخمسة واربعون.
36The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five.
37بنو لود بنو حاديد واونو سبع مئة وواحد وعشرون.
37The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-one.
38بنو سناءة ثلاثة آلاف وتسع مئة وثلاثون.
38The children of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.
39اما الكهنة فبنو يدعيا من بيت يشوع تسع مئة وثلاثة وسبعون.
39The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three.
40بنو امّير الف واثنان وخمسون.
40The children of Immer, a thousand and fifty-two.
41بنو فشحور الف ومئتان وسبعة واربعون.
41The children of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred and forty-seven.
42بنو حاريم الف وسبعة عشر.
42The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.
43اما اللاويون فبنو يشوع لقدميئيل من بني هودويا اربعة وسبعون.
43The Levites: the children of Jeshua [and] of Kadmiel, of the children of Hodvah, seventy-four.
44المغنون بنو آساف مئة وثمانية واربعون
44The singers: the children of Asaph, a hundred and forty-eight.
45البوابون بنو شلوم بنو آطير بنو طلمون بنو عقّوب بنو حطيطا بنو شوباي مئة وثمانية وثلاثون
45The doorkeepers: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, a hundred and thirty-eight.
46النثينيم بنو صيحا بنو حسوفا بنو طباعوت
46The Nethinim: the children of Ziha, the children of Hasupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
47بنو قيروس بنو سيعا بنو فادون
47the children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
48وبنو لبانة وبنو حجابة بنو سلماي
48the children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Salmai,
49بنو حانان بنو جديل بنو جاحر
49the children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
50بنو رآيا بنو رصين وبنو نقودا
50the children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
51بنو جزّام بنو عزّا بنو فاسيح
51the children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,
52بنو بيساي بنو معونيم بنو نفيشسيم
52the children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
53بنو بقبوق بنو حقوفا بنو حرحور
53the children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
54بنو بصليت بنو محيدا بنو حرشا
54the children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
55بنو برقوس بنو سيسرا بنو تامح
55the children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Thamah,
56بنو نصيح بنو حطيفا
56the children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
57بنو عبيد سليمان بنو سوطاي بنو سوفرث بنو فريدا
57The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58بنو يعلا بنو درقون بنو جدّيل
58the children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59بنو شفطيا بنو حطّيل بنو فوخرة الظباء بنو آمون.
59the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth-Hazzebaim, the children of Amon.
60كل النثينيم وبني عبيد سليمان ثلاث مئة واثنان وتسعون
60All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon's servants, three hundred and ninety-two.
61وهؤلاء هم الذين صعدوا من تل ملح وتل حرشا كروب وادون وامّير. ولم يستطيعوا ان يبيّنوا بيوت آبائهم ونسلهم هل هم من اسرائيل.
61And these are they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub-Addon and Immer; but they could not shew their father's house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel.
62بنو دلايا بنو طوبيا بنو نقودا ست مئة واثنان واربعون.
62The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobijah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty-two.
63ومن الكهنة بنو حبابا بنو هقوص بنو برزلاي الذي اخذ امرأة من بنات برزلاي الجلعادي وتسمى باسمهم.
63And of the priests: the children of Hobaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called after their name.
64هؤلاء فحصوا عن كتابة انسابهم فلم توجد فرذلوا من الكهنوت.
64These sought their genealogical register, but it was not found; therefore were they, as polluted, removed from the priesthood.
65وقال لهم الترشاثا ان لا يأكلوا من قدس الاقداس حتى يقوم كاهن للاوريم والتمّيم.
65And the Tirshatha said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up the priest with Urim and Thummim.
66كل الجمهور معا اربع ربوات والفان وثلاث مئة وستون
66The whole congregation together was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
67فضلا عن عبيدهم وامائهم الذين كانوا سبعة آلاف وثلاث مئة وسبعة وثلاثين. ولهم من المغنّين والمغنيات مئتان وخمسة واربعون.
67besides their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven; and they had two hundred and forty-five singing-men and singing-women.
68وخيلهم سبع مئة وستة وثلاثون وبغالهم مئتان وخمسة واربعون
68Their horses were seven hundred and thirty-six; their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
69والجمال اربع مئة وخمسة وثلاثون والحمير ستة آلاف وسبع مئة وعشرون
69the camels, four hundred and thirty-five; the asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
70والبعض من رؤوس الآباء اعطوا للعمل. الترشاثا اعطى للخزينة الف درهم من الذهب وخمسين منضحة وخمس مئة وثلاثين قميصا للكهنة.
70And some of the chief fathers gave to the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand darics of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests' coats.
71والبعض من رؤوس الآباء اعطوا لخزينة العمل ربوتين من الذهب والفين ومئتي منا من الفضة.
71And [some] of the chief fathers gave to the treasure of the work twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand two hundred pounds of silver.
72وما اعطاه بقية الشعب ست ربوات من الذهب والفي منا من الفضة وسبعة وستون قميصا للكهنة.
72And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand darics of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests' coats.
73واقام الكهنة واللاويون والبوابون والمغنون وبعض الشعب والنثينيم وكل اسرائيل في مدنهم ولما استهل الشهر السابع وبنو اسرائيل في مدنهم
73And the priests, and the Levites, and the doorkeepers, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities. And when the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in their cities,
