1يا اله النقمات يا رب يا اله النقمات اشرق.
1O ùGod of vengeances, Jehovah, ùGod of vengeances, shine forth;
2ارتفع يا ديان الارض. جاز صنيع المستكبرين.
2Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth, render the reward to the proud.
3حتى متى الخطاة يا رب حتى متى الخطاة يشمتون.
3How long shall the wicked, O Jehovah, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4يبقون يتكلمون بوقاحة. كل فاعلي الاثم يفتخرون.
4[How long] shall they utter [and] speak insolence -- all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5يسحقون شعبك يا رب ويذلون ميراثك.
5They crush thy people, O Jehovah, and afflict thine inheritance;
6يقتلون الارملة والغريب ويميتون اليتيم.
6They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless,
7ويقولون الرب لا يبصر واله يعقوب لا يلاحظ
7And say, Jah will not see, neither will the God of Jacob regard [it].
8افهموا ايها البلداء في الشعب ويا جهلاء متى تعقلون.
8Understand, ye brutish among the people; and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9الغارس الاذن ألا يسمع. الصانع العين ألا يبصر.
9He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10المؤدب الامم ألا يبكت. المعلم الانسان معرفة.
10He that instructeth the nations, shall not he correct -- he that teacheth man knowledge?
11الرب يعرف افكار الانسان انها باطلة.
11Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12طوبى للرجل الذي تؤدبه يا رب وتعلمه من شريعتك
12Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jah, and whom thou teachest out of thy law;
13لتريحه من ايام الشر حتى تحفر للشرير حفرة.
13That thou mayest give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14لان الرب لا يرفض شعبه ولا يترك ميراثه.
14For Jehovah will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance;
15لانه الى العدل يرجع القضاء وعلى اثره كل مستقيمي القلوب
15For judgment shall return unto righteousness, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16من يقوم لي على المسيئين. من يقف لي ضد فعلة الاثم.
16Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
17لولا ان الرب معيني لسكنت نفسي سريعا ارض السكوت.
17If Jehovah had not been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18اذ قلت قد زلت قدمي فرحمتك يا رب تعضدني.
18When I said, My foot slippeth, thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, held me up.
19عند كثرة همومي في داخلي تعزياتك تلذذ نفسي.
19In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me thy comforts have delighted my soul.
20هل يعاهدك كرسي المفاسد المختلق اثما على فريضة.
20Shall the throne of wickedness be united to thee, which frameth mischief into a law?
21يزدحمون على نفس الصدّيق ويحكمون على دم زكي.
21They band together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
22فكان الرب لي صرحا والهي صخرة ملجإي
22But Jehovah will be my high tower; and my God the rock of my refuge.
23ويرد عليهم اثمهم وبشرهم يفنيهم. يفنيهم الرب الهنا
23And he will bring upon them their iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil: Jehovah our God will cut them off.
