1وبعد هذا رأيت اربعة ملائكة واقفين على اربع زوايا الارض ممسكين اربع رياح الارض لكي لا تهب ريح على الارض ولا على البحر ولا على شجرة ما
1And after this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding fast the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree.
2ورأيت ملاكا آخر طالعا من مشرق الشمس معه ختم الله الحي فنادى بصوت عظيم الى الملائكة الاربعة الذين أعطوا ان يضروا الارض والبحر
2And I saw another angel ascending from [the] sunrising, having [the] seal of [the] living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3قائلا لا تضروا الارض ولا البحر ولا الاشجار حتى نختم عبيد الهنا على جباههم.
3saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall have sealed the bondmen of our God upon their foreheads.
4وسمعت عدد المختومين مئة واربعة واربعين الفا مختومين من كل سبط من بني اسرائيل.
4And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred [and] forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of [the] sons of Israel:
5من سبط يهوذا اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط رأوبين اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط جاد اثنا عشر الف مختوم.
5out of [the] tribe of Juda, twelve thousand sealed; out of [the] tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;
6من سبط اشير اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط نفتالي اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط منسّى اثنا عشر الف مختوم.
6out of [the] tribe of Aser, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Nepthalim, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand;
7من سبط شمعون اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط لاوي اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط يساكر اثنا عشر الف مختوم.
7out of [the] tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand;
8من سبط زبولون اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط يوسف اثنا عشر الف مختوم. من سبط بنيامين اثنا عشر الف مختوم
8out of [the] tribe of Zabulun, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand sealed.
9بعد هذا نظرت واذا جمع كثير لم يستطع احد ان يعدّه من كل الامم والقبائل والشعوب والألسنة واقفون امام العرش وامام الخروف ومتسربلين بثياب بيض وفي ايديهم سعف النخل
9After these things I saw, and lo, a great crowd, which no one could number, out of every nation and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palm branches in their hands.
10وهم يصرخون بصوت عظيم قائلين الخلاص لالهنا الجالس على العرش وللخروف.
10And they cry with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.
11وجميع الملائكة كانوا واقفين حول العرش والشيوخ والحيوانات الاربعة وخرّوا امام العرش على وجوههم وسجدوا للّه
11And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and fell before the throne upon their faces, and worshipped God,
12قائلين آمين. البركة والمجد والحكمة والشكر والكرامة والقدرة والقوة لالهنا الى ابد الآبدين. آمين
12saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and strength, to our God, to the ages of ages. Amen.
13واجاب واحد من الشيوخ قائلا لي هؤلاء المتسربلون بالثياب البيض من هم ومن اين أتوا.
13And one of the elders answered, saying to me, These who are clothed with white robes, who are they, and whence came they?
14فقلت له يا سيد انت تعلم. فقال لي هؤلاء هم الذين أتوا من الضيقة العظيمة وقد غسلوا ثيابهم وبيّضوا ثيابهم في دم الخروف.
14And I said to him, My lord, *thou* knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15من اجل ذلك هم امام عرش الله ويخدمونه نهارا وليلا في هيكله والجالس على العرش يحل فوقهم.
15Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sits upon the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.
16لن يجوعوا بعد ولن يعطشوا بعد ولا تقع عليهم الشمس ولا شيء من الحرّ
16They shall not hunger any more, neither shall they thirst any more, nor shall the sun at all fall on them, nor any burning heat;
17لان الخروف الذي في وسط العرش يرعاهم ويقتادهم الى ينابيع ماء حيّة ويمسح الله كل دمعة من عيونهم
17because the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them, and shall lead them to fountains of waters of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
