¹ثم رأيت سماء جديدة وارضا جديدة لان السماء الاولى والارض الاولى مضتا والبحر لا يوجد فيما بعد.

¹I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.

²وانا يوحنا رأيت المدينة المقدسة اورشليم الجديدة نازلة من السماء من عند الله مهيأة كعروس مزينة لرجلها.

²I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.

³وسمعت صوتا عظيما من السماء قائلا هوذا مسكن الله مع الناس وهو سيسكن معهم وهم يكونون له شعبا والله نفسه يكون معهم الها لهم.

³I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

⁴وسيمسح الله كل دمعة من عيونهم والموت لا يكون فيما بعد ولا يكون حزن ولا صراخ ولا وجع فيما بعد لان الامور الاولى قد مضت.

⁴He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.”

⁵وقال الجالس على العرش ها انا اصنع كل شيء جديدا. وقال لي اكتب فان هذه الاقوال صادقة وامينة.

⁵He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”

⁶ثم قال لي قد تم. انا هو الالف والياء البداية والنهاية. انا اعطى العطشان من ينبوع ماء الحياة مجانا.

⁶He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.

⁷من يغلب يرث كل شيء واكون له الها وهو يكون لي ابنا.

⁷ He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.

⁸واما الخائفون وغير المؤمنين والرجسون والقاتلون والزناة والسحرة وعبدة الاوثان وجميع الكذبة فنصيبهم في البحيرة المتقدة بنار وكبريت الذي هو الموت الثاني

⁸ But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, The word for “sorcerers” here also includes users of potions and drugs. idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

⁹ثم جاء اليّ واحد من السبعة الملائكة الذين معهم السبع الجامات المملوءة من السبع الضربات الاخيرة وتكلم معي قائلا هلم فأريك العروس امرأة الخروف.

⁹One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb’s bride.”

¹⁰وذهب بي بالروح الى جبل عظيم عال وأراني المدينة العظيمة اورشليم المقدسة نازلة من السماء من عند الله

¹⁰He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,

¹¹لها مجد الله ولمعانها شبه اكرم حجر كحجر يشب بلوري.

¹¹having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, as if it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

¹²وكان لها سور عظيم وعال وكان لها اثنا عشر بابا وعلى الابواب اثنا عشر ملاكا واسماء مكتوبة هي اسماء اسباط بني اسرائيل الاثني عشر.

¹²having a great and high wall; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

¹³من الشرق ثلاثة ابواب ومن الشمال ثلاثة ابواب ومن الجنوب ثلاثة ابواب ومن الغرب ثلاثة ابواب.

¹³On the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

¹⁴وسور المدينة كان له اثنا عشر اساسا وعليها اسماء رسل الخروف الاثني عشر.

¹⁴The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.

¹⁵والذي كان يتكلم معي كان معه قصبة من ذهب لكي يقيس المدينة وابوابها وسورها.

¹⁵He who spoke with me had for a measure, a golden reed, to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.

¹⁶والمدينة كانت موضوعة مربعة طولها بقدر العرض. فقاس المدينة بالقصبة مسافة اثني عشر الف غلوة. الطول والعرض والارتفاع متساوية.

¹⁶The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth. He measured the city with the reed, Twelve thousand twelve stadia 12,012 stadia = or 2,221 kilometers or 1,380 miles. TR reads 12,000 stadia instead of 12,012 stadia. . Its length, breadth, and height are equal.

¹⁷وقاس سورها مئة واربعا واربعين ذراعا ذراع انسان اي الملاك.

¹⁷Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits, 144 cubits is about 65.8 meters or 216 feet by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.

¹⁸وكان بناء سورها من يشب والمدينة ذهب نقي شبه زجاج نقي.

¹⁸The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.

¹⁹واساسات سور المدينة مزينة بكل حجر كريم. الاساس الاول يشب. الثاني ياقوت ازرق. الثالث عقيق ابيض. الرابع زمرد ذبابي.

¹⁹The foundations of the city’s wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire or, lapis lazuli ; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;

²⁰الخامس جزع عقيقي. السادس عقيق احمر. السابع زبرجد. الثامن زمرد سلقي. التاسع ياقوت اصفر. العاشر عقيق اخضر. الحادي عشر اسمانجوني. الثاني عشر جمشت.

²⁰the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprasus; the eleventh, jacinth; and the twelfth, amethyst.

²¹والاثنا عشر بابا اثنتا عشرة لؤلؤة كل واحد من الابواب كان من لؤلؤة واحدة وسوق المدينة ذهب نقي كزجاج شفاف.

²¹The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

²²ولم أر فيها هيكلا لان الرب الله القادر على كل شيء هو والخروف هيكلها.

²²I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.

²³والمدينة لا تحتاج الى الشمس ولا الى القمر ليضيئا فيها لان مجد الله قد انارها والخروف سراجها.

²³The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

²⁴وتمشي شعوب المخلّصين بنورها وملوك الارض يجيئون بمجدهم وكرامتهم اليها.

²⁴The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.

²⁵وابوابها لن تغلق نهارا لان ليلا لا يكون هناك.

²⁵Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),

²⁶ويجيئون بمجد الامم وكرامتهم اليها.

²⁶and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.

²⁷ولن يدخلها شيء دنس ولا ما يصنع رجسا وكذبا الا المكتوبين في سفر حياة الخروف

²⁷There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
