1And after these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Judaea, because the Jews sought to kill him.
1وكان يسوع يتردد بعد هذا في الجليل. لانه لم يرد ان يتردد في اليهودية لان اليهود كانوا يطلبون ان يقتلوه
2Now the feast of the Jews, the feast of tabernacles, was at hand.
2وكان عيد اليهود عيد المظال قريبا.
3His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may behold thy works which thou doest.
3فقال له اخوته انتقل من هنا واذهب الى اليهودية لكي يرى تلاميذك ايضا اعمالك التي تعمل.
4For no man doeth anything in secret, and himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou doest these things, manifest thyself to the world.
4لانه ليس احد يعمل شيئا في الخفاء وهو يريد ان يكون علانية. ان كنت تعمل هذه الاشياء فاظهر نفسك للعالم.
5For even his brethren did not believe on him.
5لان اخوته ايضا لم يكونوا يؤمنون به.
6Jesus therefore saith unto them, My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready.
6فقال لهم يسوع ان وقتي لم يحضر بعد. واما وقتكم ففي كل حين حاضر.
7The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that its works are evil.
7لا يقدر العالم ان يبغضكم ولكنه يبغضني انا لاني اشهد عليه ان اعماله شريرة.
8Go ye up unto the feast: I go not up unto this feast; because my time is not yet fulfilled.
8اصعدوا انتم الى هذا العيد. انا لست اصعد بعد الى هذا العيد لان وقتي لم يكمل بعد.
9And having said these things unto them, he abode [still] in Galilee.
9قال لهم هذا ومكث في الجليل
10But when his brethren were gone up unto the feast, then went he also up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
10ولما كان اخوته قد صعدوا حينئذ صعد هو ايضا الى العيد لا ظاهرا بل كانه في الخفاء.
11The Jews therefore sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
11فكان اليهود يطلبونه في العيد ويقولون اين ذاك.
12And there was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him: some said, He is a good man; others said, Not so, but he leadeth the multitude astray.
12وكان في الجمع مناجاة كثيرة من نحوه. بعضهم يقولون انه صالح. وآخرون يقولون لا بل يضل الشعب.
13Yet no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
13ولكن لم يكن احد يتكلم عنه جهارا لسبب الخوف من اليهود
14But when it was now the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
14ولما كان العيد قد انتصف صعد يسوع الى الهيكل وكان يعلّم.
15The Jews therefore marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
15فتعجب اليهود قائلين كيف هذا يعرف الكتب وهو لم يتعلّم.
16Jesus therefore answered them and said, My teaching is not mine, but his that sent me.
16اجابهم يسوع وقال تعليمي ليس لي بل للذي ارسلني.
17If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or [whether] I speak from myself.
17ان شاء احد ان يعمل مشيئته يعرف التعليم هل هو من الله ام اتكلم انا من نفسي.
18He that speaketh from himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
18من يتكلم من نفسه يطلب مجد نفسه. واما من يطلب مجد الذي ارسله فهو صادق وليس فيه ظلم.
19Did not Moses give you the law, and [yet] none of you doeth the law? Why seek ye to kill me?
19أليس موسى قد اعطاكم الناموس وليس احد منكم يعمل الناموس. لماذا تطلبون ان تقتلوني
20The multitude answered, Thou hast a demon: who seeketh to kill thee?
20اجاب الجمع وقالوا بك شيطان. من يطلب ان يقتلك.
21Jesus answered and said unto them, I did one work, and ye all marvel because thereof.
21اجاب يسوع وقال لهم عملا واحدا عملت فتتعجبون جميعا.
22Moses hath given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers); and on the sabbath ye circumcise a man.
22لهذا اعطاكم موسى الختان. ليس انه من موسى بل من الآباء. ففي السبت تختنون الانسان.
23If a man receiveth circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye wroth with me, because I made a man every whit whole on the sabbath?
23فان كان الانسان يقبل الختان في السبت لئلا ينقض ناموس موسى أفتسخطون عليّ لاني شفيت انسانا كله في السبت.
24Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
24لا تحكموا حسب الظاهر بل احكموا حكما عادلا
25Some therefore of them of Jerusalem said, Is not this he whom they seek to kill?
25فقال قوم من اهل اورشليم أليس هذا هو الذي يطلبون ان يقتلوه.
26And lo, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing unto him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is the Christ?
26وها هو يتكلم جهارا ولا يقولون له شيئا. ألعل الرؤساء عرفوا يقينا ان هذا هو المسيح حقا.
27Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when the Christ cometh, no one knoweth whence he is.
27ولكن هذا نعلم من اين هو. واما المسيح فمتى جاء لا يعرف احد من اين هو
28Jesus therefore cried in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me, and know whence I am; and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
28فنادى يسوع وهو يعلّم في الهيكل قائلا تعرفونني وتعرفون من اين انا ومن نفسي لم آت بل الذي ارسلني هو حق الذي انتم لستم تعرفونه.
29I know him; because I am from him, and he sent me.
29انا اعرفه لاني منه وهو ارسلني.
30They sought therefore to take him: and no man laid his hand on him, because his hour was not yet come.
30فطلبوا ان يمسكوه. ولم يلق احد يدا عليه لان ساعته لم تكن قد جاءت بعد.
31But of the multitude many believed on him; and they said, When the Christ shall come, will he do more signs than those which this man hath done?
31فآمن به كثيرون من الجمع وقالوا ألعل المسيح متى جاء يعمل آيات اكثر من هذه التي عملها هذا
32The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him; and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to take him.
32سمع الفريسيون الجمع يتناجون بهذا من نحوه فارسل الفريسيون ورؤساء الكهنة خداما ليمسكوه.
33Jesus therefore said, Yet a little while am I with you, and I go unto him that sent me.
33فقال لهم يسوع انا معكم زمانا يسيرا بعد ثم امضي الى الذي ارسلني.
34Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, ye cannot come.
34ستطلبونني ولا تجدونني وحيث اكون انا لا تقدرون انتم ان تأتوا.
35The Jews therefore said among themselves, Whither will this man go that we shall not find him? will he go unto the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?
35فقال اليهود فيما بينهم الى اين هذا مزمع ان يذهب حتى لا نجده نحن. ألعله مزمع ان يذهب الى شتات اليونانيين ويعلّم اليونانيين.
36What is this word that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me; and where I am, ye cannot come?
36ما هذا القول الذي قال ستطلبونني ولا تجدونني وحيث اكون انا لا تقدرون انتم ان تأتوا
37Now on the last day, the great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.
37وفي اليوم الاخير العظيم من العيد وقف يسوع ونادى قائلا ان عطش احد فليقبل اليّ ويشرب.
38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water.
38من آمن بي كما قال الكتاب تجري من بطنه انهار ماء حيّ.
39But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet [given]; because Jesus was not yet glorified.
39قال هذا عن الروح الذي كان المؤمنون به مزمعين ان يقبلوه. لان الروح القدس لم يكن قد أعطي بعد. لان يسوع لم يكن قد مجّد بعد.
40[Some] of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, This is of a truth the prophet.
40فكثيرون من الجمع لما سمعوا هذا الكلام قالوا هذا بالحقيقة هو النبي.
41Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, What, doth the Christ come out of Galilee?
41آخرون قالوا هذا هو المسيح. وآخرون قالوا ألعل المسيح من الجليل يأتي.
42Hath not the scripture said that the Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?
42ألم يقل الكتاب انه من نسل داود ومن بيت لحم القرية التي كان داود فيها يأتي المسيح.
43So there arose a division in the multitude because of him.
43فحدث انشقاق في الجمع لسببه.
44And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
44وكان قوم منهم يريدون ان يمسكوه ولكن لم يلق احد عليه الايادي
45The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why did ye not bring him?
45فجاء الخدام الى رؤساء الكهنة والفريسيين. فقال هؤلاء لهم لماذا لم تأتوا به.
46The officers answered, Never man so spake.
46اجاب الخدام لم يتكلم قط انسان هكذا مثل هذا الانسان.
47The Pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also led astray?
47فاجابهم الفريسيون ألعلكم انتم ايضا قد ضللتم.
48Hath any of the rulers believed on him, or of the Pharisees?
48ألعل احدا من الرؤساء او من الفريسيين آمن به.
49But this multitude that knoweth not the law are accursed.
49ولكن هذا الشعب الذي لا يفهم الناموس هو ملعون.
50Nicodemus saith unto them (he that came to him before, being one of them),
50قال لهم نيقوديموس الذي جاء اليه ليلا وهو واحد منهم.
51Doth our law judge a man, except it first hear from himself and know what he doeth?
51ألعل ناموسنا يدين انسانا لم يسمع منه اولا ويعرف ماذا فعل.
52They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
52اجابوا وقالوا له ألعلك انت ايضا من الجليل. فتّش وانظر. انه لم يقم نبي من الجليل.
53And they went every man unto his own house:
53فمضى كل واحد الى بيته
