¹Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye.

¹Karon mahatungod sa amot, alang sa mga balaan, ingon sa gisugo ko sa mga iglesia sa Galacia, buhaton usab ninyo.

²Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come.

²Sa nahaunang adlaw sa semana, ang tagsatagsa kaninyo magpinig sa tipiganan, sa bahin nga angay ingon sa iyang nadawat sa Dios aron walay pagpaamot sa akong pag-abut.

³And when I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve, them will I send with letters to carry your bounty unto Jerusalem:

³Sa moabut ako, bisan kinsa nga inyong pagauyonan, sila paadtoon ko uban sa mga sulat sa pagdala sa inyong amot ngadto sa Jerusalem.

⁴and if it be meet for me to go also, they shall go with me.

⁴Ug kong angay nga ako moadto usab, mouban sila kanako.

⁵But I will come unto you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia; for I pass through Macedonia;

⁵Apan moanha ako kaninyo, sa makahapit ako sa Macedonia, kay mohapit ako sa Macedonia;

⁶but with you it may be that I shall abide, or even winter, that ye may set me forward on my journey whithersoever I go.

⁶Apan tingali lamang nga magapabilin ako kaninyo, kun mopuyo ako uban kaninyo sa tingtugnaw, aron ikapahatud ako ninyo sa akong paggikan, bisan diin ako moadto.

⁷For I do not wish to see you now by the way; for I hope to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

⁷Kay ako dili buot makigkita kaninyo sa hapit lamang; kay milaum ako nga makapabilin uban kaninyo sa makadiyut, kong itugot sa Ginoo.

⁸But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost;

⁸Apan magapabilin ako sa Efeso hangtud sa Pentecostes.

⁹for a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

⁹Kay giablihan kanako ang usa ka ganghaan nga daku ug gamhanan, ug adunay daghang mga kaaway.

¹⁰Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear; for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do:

¹⁰Karon kong moabut si Timoteo, paninguhaa nga siya magpabilin kaninyo sa walay kahadlok: kay nagabuhat siya sa bulohaton sa Ginoo, ingon usab sa akong gibuhat.

¹¹let no man therefore despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come unto me: for I expect him with the brethren.

¹¹Busa, dili ninyo siya ipatamay kang bisan kinsa; kondili pagikana ninyo siya sa iyang panaw sa pakigdait aron siya moari kanako; kay ginapaabut ko siya uban sa mga igsoon.

¹²But as touching Apollos the brother, I besought him much to come unto you with the brethren: and it was not all [his] will to come now; but he will come when he shall have opportunity.

¹²Apan mahatungod sa igsoon nga si Apolo, ginatambagan ko siya sa hilabihan, aron moanha kaninyo uban sa mga igsoon; ug wala gayud siya mobuot sa pag-anha karon, apan moanha siya kong may higayon.

¹³Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

¹³Managtukaw kamo, ug managlig-on sa pagtoo; bumarug kamo ingon nga mga lalake; magmabaskug kamo.

¹⁴Let all that ye do be done in love.

¹⁴Ang tanan ninyo nga mga buhat buhaton ninyo sa gugma.

¹⁵Now I beseech you, brethren (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to minister unto the saints),

¹⁵Karon nagatambag ako kaninyo, mga igsoon (hingbaloan ninyo ang panimalay ni Estefanas nga kini mao ang unang mga bunga sa Acaya, ug nga nanagtugyan sila sa ilang kaugalingon sa pag-alagad sa mga balaan);

¹⁶that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to every one that helpeth in the work and laboreth.

¹⁶Nga managpasakup usab kamo sa maong mga tawo, ug sa tanan nga mga nagatabang ug nagabuhat.

¹⁷And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they supplied.

¹⁷Gikalipay ko ang pag-abut ni Estefanas, ug ni Fortunate, ug ni Acaico; kay kini sila nanagpuno sa nakulang kaninyo.

¹⁸For they refreshed my spirit and yours: acknowledge ye therefore them that are such.

¹⁸Kay gipapahulay nila ang akong espiritu ug ang inyo. Busa ilhon ninyo kini sila nga maingon niini.

¹⁹The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Prisca salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

¹⁹Ang mga iglesia sa Asia nangumosta kaninyo. Nangumosta kaninyo ug daghan sa Ginoo si Aquila ug si Priscila, uban ang iglesia nga anaa sa ilang balay.

²⁰All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.

²⁰Nangumosta kaninyo ang tanang mga igsoon. Magpangumostahay kamo ang usa ug usa nga may balaan nga halok.

²¹The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.

²¹Ang pagpangumosta nako, nga si Pablo, uban ang akong kaugalingong kamot.

²²If any man loveth not the Lord, let him be anathema. Maranatha.

²²Kong may tawo nga wala mahagugma sa Ginoong Jesucristo, pagtunglohon siya. ang Ginoo moabut.

²³The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

²³Ang gracia sa Ginoong Jesucristo magauban kaninyo.

²⁴My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

²⁴Ang akong gugma magauban kaninyong tanan kang Cristo Jesus. Amen.
