¹And king Solomon was king over all Israel.

²And these were the princes whom he had: Azariah the son of Zadok, the priest;

³Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder;

³Si Elioreph ug si Ahia, ang mga anak nga lalake ni Sisa, mga escriba: si Josaphat, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahilud, ang kalihim;

⁴and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar were priests;

⁵and Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers; and Zabud the son of Nathan was chief minister, [and] the king's friend;

⁶and Ahishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the men subject to taskwork.

⁷And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, who provided victuals for the king and his household: each man had to make provision for a month in the year.

⁸And these are their names: Ben-hur, in the hill-country of Ephraim;

⁹Ben-deker, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan;

⁹Si Ben-decar, sa Maccas, ug sa Saalbim, ug si Beth-semes, ug si Elon-Beth-hanan;

¹⁰Ben-hesed, in Arubboth (to him [pertained] Socoh, and all the land of Hepher);

¹⁰Si Ben-hesed, sa Aruboth (kaniya ang Socho, ug ang tibook yuta sa Hepher);

¹¹Ben-abinadab, in all the height of Dor (he had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife);

¹¹Si Ben-abinadab, sa tanang kabungtoran sa Dor, (diha kaniya si Thaphat ang anak nga babaye ni Salomon aron pangasaw-on);

¹²Baana the son of Ahilud, in Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean which is beside Zarethan, beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, as far as beyond Jokmeam;

¹⁴Ahinadab the son of Iddo, in Mahanaim;

¹⁵Ahimaaz, in Naphtali (he also took Basemath the daughter of Solomon to wife);

¹⁵Si Ahimaas, sa Nephtali (siya usab nangasawa kang Basemath, ang anak nga babaye ni Salomon);

¹⁶Baana the son of Hushai, in Asher and Bealoth;

¹⁶Si Baana, ang anak nga lalake ni Husai, sa Aser ug sa Aloth;

¹⁷Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar;

¹⁷Si Josaphat, ang anak nga lalake ni Pharua, sa Issachar:

¹⁸Shimei the son of Ela, in Benjamin;

¹⁸Si Semei, ang anak nga lalake ni Ela, sa Benjamin:

¹⁹Geber the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, the country of Sihon king of the Amorites and of Og king of Bashan; and [he was] the only officer that was in the land.

¹⁹Si Geber, ang anak nga lalake ni Uri, sa yuta sa Galaad, sa yuta ni hari Sehon sa mga Amorehanon, ug si Og, hari sa Basan; ug siya mao lamang ang punoan nga diha sa yuta.

²⁰Judah and Israel were many as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking and making merry.

²⁰Ang Juda ug Israel daghan kaayo ingon sa balas nga anaa sa lapyahan sa dagat sa pagkadaghan, nga nangaon, ug nanginum ug nanagkalipay.

²¹And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the River unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought tribute, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

²¹Ug si Salomon naghari sa tanang mga gingharian sukad sa Suba ngadto sa yuta sa mga Filistehanon, ug ngadto sa utlanan sa Egipto; sila nanagdala ug buhis, ug nanag-alagad kang Salomon sa tanang mga adlaw sa iyang kinabuhi.

²²And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

²³ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and a hundred sheep, besides harts, and gazelles, and roebucks, and fatted fowl.

²⁴For he had dominion over all [the region] on this side the River, from Tiphsah even to Gaza, over all the kings on this side the River: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

²⁴Kay siya naghari sa ibabaw sa tibook yuta niining dapita sa Suba, gikan sa Tiphsa bisan hangtud sa Gaza, sa ibabaw sa tanang mga hari niining dapita sa Suba: ug siya may kalinaw sa tanang dapit nga nagalibut kaniya.

²⁵And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.

²⁵Ug ang Juda ug Israel nagpuyo nga malig-on, ang tagsatagsa ilalum sa iyang parras ug sa iyang kahoy nga higuera, sukad sa Dan bisan ngadto sa Beersheba sa tanang mga adlaw ni Salomon.

²⁶And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

²⁶Ug si Salomon may kap-atan ka libo ka butanganan sa mga kabayo nga alang sa iyang mga carro, ug napulo ug duha ka libo ka mga mangangabayo.

²⁷And those officers provided victuals for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month; they let nothing be lacking.

²⁷Ug kadtong mga punoan nanag-andam ug mga makaon alang sa hari nga si Salomon, ug alang sa tanang mahianha sa lamesa ni Salomon nga hari, ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang bulan, wala gayud ing gipakulang nila.

²⁸Barley also and straw for the horses and swift steeds brought they unto the place where [the officers] were, every man according to his charge.

²⁸Cebada usab ug dagami alang sa mga kabayo ug sa mga matulin nga mga kabayo gidala nila ngadto sa dapit diin ang mga punoan , ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sumala sa iyang katungdanan.

²⁹And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.

²⁹Ug ang Dios mihatag kang Salomon sa kaalam ug kahibalo nga hilabihan gayud, ug kadaku sa kasingkasing, sama sa balas nga anaa sa baybayon.

³⁰And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

³⁰Ug ang kaalam ni Salomon milabaw sa kaalam sa tanang mga anak sa silangan, ug sa tanang kaalam sa Egipto.

³¹For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all the nations round about.

³¹Kay siya labi pang maalam kay sa tanang mga tawo; kay kang Ethan, ang Ezrahanon, ug kang Eman, ug kang Calchol, ug kang Darda, ang mga anak nga lalake ni Mahol: ug ang iyang kabantug diha sa tanang mga nasud nga nagalibut.

³²And he spake three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.

³²Ug siya namulong ug totolo ka libo nga mga proverbio ug ang iyang mga awit usa ka libo ug lima.

³³And he spake of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall; he spake also of beasts, and of birds, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

³³Ug siya naghisgut mahitungod sa mga kahoy, sukad sa cedro nga anaa sa Libano bisan hangtud sa hisopo nga nagturok sa kuta: siya naghisgut usab mahitungod sa mga mananap, ug mahitungod sa mga langgam, ug mahitungod sa mga nagakamang sa yuta, ug mahitungod sa mga isda.

³⁴And there came of all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

³⁴Ug nangadto didto gikan sa tanang mga katawohan aron sa pagpamati sa kaalam ni Salomon, gikan sa tanang mga hari sa mga yuta nga nakadungog sa iyang kaalam.
