¹Masters, render unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

¹Mga agalon, buhata ninyo ang angay ug matarung sa inyong mga sulogoon, sa hingbaloan ninyo nga kamo adunay Agalon usab sa langit.

²Continue stedfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;

²Sa malig-on managpadayon kamo sa pag-ampo, nga magatukaw niini nga may pagpasalamat;

³withal praying for us also, that God may open unto us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds;

³Nga magaampo sa mao nga panahon alang kanamo usab, aron ang Dios magaabli kanamo ug usa ka pultahan alang sa pulong, sa pagsulti sa tinago ni Cristo, nga tungod niini ania usab ako nagapus:

⁴that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

⁴Aron ako makapahayag niini ingon sa kinahanglan ko igasulti.

⁵Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

⁵Managgawi kamo sa kaalam sa atubangan sa mga anaa sa gawas, nga pahimuslan ninyo ang panahon.

⁶Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.

⁶Ang inyong pagsulti paubani ka nunay sa gracia, nga naasinan sa asin, aron inyong hibaloan kong unsa ang kinahanglan igatubag ninyo sa tagsatagsa.

⁷All my affairs shall Tychicus make known unto you, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord:

⁷Ang tibook ko nga kahimtang igapadayag kaninyo ni Tychico, igsoon nga hinigugma, ug matinumanon nga ministro ug masigkasulogoon sa Ginoo;

⁸whom I have sent you for this very purpose, that ye may know our state, and that he may comfort your hearts;

⁸Nga gisugo ko siya tungod niini gayud nga tuyo, aron masayud kamo sa among kahimtang, ug aron pagalipayon niya ang inyong mga kasingkasing:

⁹together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things that [are done] here.

¹⁰Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner saluteth you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (touching whom ye received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him),

¹¹and Jesus that is called Justus, who are of the circumcision: these only [are my] fellow-workers unto the kingdom of God, men that have been a comfort unto me.

¹¹Ug si Jesus, nga ginganlan Justo, nga sa mga taga-circuncicion. Kini sila mao lamang ang mga masigkatabang nako alang sa gingharian sa Dios, mga tawo nga maoy kalipay ko.

¹²Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, always striving for you in his prayers, that ye may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

¹²Nangumosta kaninyo si Epafras, nga taga-inyo, ulipon ni Cristo Jesus, nga sa gihapon nagasingkamot tungod kaninyo sa iyang pag-ampo, aron kamo magabarug nga hingpit ug matino gayud sa bug-os nga kabubut-on sa Dios.

¹³For I bear him witness, that he hath much labor for you, and for them in Laodicea, and for them in Hierapolis.

¹³Kay ako nagapamatuod alang kaniya, nga siya may daku nga kahago alang kaninyo, ug alang sa mga anaa sa Laodicea, ug sa mga anaa sa Hierapolis.

¹⁴Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas salute you.

¹⁴Nangumosta kaninyo si Lucas, ang mananambal nga hinigugma, ug si Demas.

¹⁵Salute the brethren that are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church that is in their house.

¹⁵Pangumostaha ninyo ang mga igsoon sa Laodicea, ug si Nimfas, ug ang iglesia nga anaa sa ilang balay.

¹⁶And when this epistle hath been read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye also read the epistle from Laodicea.

¹⁶Ug sa human mabasa kini nga sulat sa taliwala ninyo, buhata ninyo, nga mabasa usab sa iglesia sa mga taga-Laodicea; ug kamo usab magbasa niadtong sulat nga gikan sa Laodicea.

¹⁷And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

¹⁷Ug igasulti ninyo kang Arquipo: Bantayan mo ang pagka-ministro nga gidawat mo sa Ginoo, aron pagatumanon mo kini.

¹⁸The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you.

¹⁸Ang pagpangumosta nako, si Pablo, sa akong kaugalingong kamot. Hinumdumi ninyo ang akong mga gapus. Ang gracia magauban kaninyo. Amen.
