¹Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.

¹Si Nabucodonosor ang hari nagbuhat usa ka larawan nga bulawan, nga may gitas-on nga kan-uman ka maniko, ug ang gilapdon niana unom ka maniko: kini iyang gipahaluna sa kapatagan sa Dura, sa lalawigan sa Babilonia.

²Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the satraps, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

²Unya si Nabucodonosor ang hari nagsugo sa pagpatigum sa mga kadagkuan, sa mga tinugyanan, ug sa mga gobernador, sa mga maghuhukom, sa mga mamahandi, sa mga magtatambag, sa mga presidente ug sa tanang mga punoan sa mga lalawigan, aron motambong sa dedicacion sa larawan nga gipatindog ni Nabucodonosor nga hari.

³Then the satraps, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

³Unya ang mga kadagkuan, ang mga tinugyanan, ug ang mga gobernador, ang mga maghuhukom, ang mga mamahandi, ang mga magtatambag, ang mga presidente, ug ang tanang mga punoan sa mga lalawigan, nanagkatigum didto sa dedicacion sa larawan nga gipatindog ni Nabucodonosor nga hari; ug sila mingtindog sa atubangan sa larawan nga gipatindog ni Nabucodonosor.

⁴Then the herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages,

⁴Unya ang magpapahibalo misinggit sa makusog: Kaninyo ginasugo, Oh mga katawohan, mga nasud ug mga pinulongan,

⁵that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up;

⁵Nga sa takna kamo makadungog sa tingog sa trompeta, flauta, alpa, sacabuche, salterio, dulcemele, ug sa tanang matang sa tulonggon, humapa kamo ug simbaha ang larawan nga bulawan nga gipatindog ni Nabucodonosor nga hari;

⁶and whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

⁶Ug bisan kinsa kadto nga dili mohapa ug dili mosimba igatambog sa mao nga takna sa taliwala sa usa ka hudno nga nagadilaab sa kalayo.

⁷Therefore at that time, when all the peoples heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the peoples, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

⁷Busa niadtong taknaa sa pagkabati sa tanang mga katawohan sa tingog sa trompeta, sa flauta, sa alpa, sa sacabuche, sa salterio, sa dulcemele, ug sa tanang matang sa tulonggon, ang tanang mga katawohan, mga nasud, ug mga pinulongan, minghapa ug mingsimba sa larawan nga bulawan nga gipatindog ni Nabucodonosor nga hari.

⁸Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and brought accusation against the Jews.

⁸Tungod niini niadtong panahona may pipila ka mga Caldeahanon nga mingduol, ug mingpasaka sa sumbong batok sa mga Judio.

⁹They answered and said to Nebuchadnezzar the king, O king, live for ever.

⁹Sila mingtubag ug ming-ingon kang Nabucodonosor nga hari: Oh hari, mabuhi ka sa walay katapusan.

¹⁰Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image;

¹⁰Ikaw, Oh hari, naghimo usa ka sugo, nga ang tagsatagsa ka tawo nga makabati sa tingog sa trompeta, sa flauta, sa alpa, sa sacabuche, sa salterio, sa dulcemele, ug sa tanang matang sa tulonggon, mohapa ug mosimba sa larawan nga bulawan;

¹¹and whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

¹¹Ug bisan kinsa kadto nga dili mohapa ug dili mosimba, igatambog sa taliwala sa usa ka hudno nga nagadilaab sa kalayo.

¹²There are certain Jews whom thou hast appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

¹²Adunay pipila ka mga Judio nga imong gitudlo ibabaw sa mga bulohaton sa lalawigan sa Babilonia: si Sadrach, Mesach, ug Abed-nego; kining mga tawohana, Oh hari, wala magtagad kanimo: sila wala moalagad sa imong mga dios, ni mosimba sila sa larawan nga bulawan nga imong gipatindog.

¹³Then Nebuchadnezzar in [his] rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

¹³Unya si Nabucodonosor, sa iyang kapungot ug kasuko, nagsugo sa pagpakuha kang Sadrach, Mesach, ug Abed-nego. Nan ilang gidala kining mga tawohana sa atubangan sa hari.

¹⁴Nebuchadnezzar answered and said unto them, Is it of purpose, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, that ye serve not my god, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

¹⁴Si Nabucodonosor mitubag ug miingon kanila: Tinuyo ba sa kabubut-on nga kamo, Oh Sadrach, Mesach, ug Abed-nego, nga kamo dili moalagad sa akong dios, ni mosimba sa larawan nga bulawan nga akong gipatindog?

¹⁵Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made, [well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that god that shall deliver you out of my hands?

¹⁵Karon, kong kamo andam, nga sa bisan unsang taknaa nga kamo makabati sa tingog sa trompeta, sa flauta, sa alpa, sa sacabuche, sa salterio, sa dulcemele ug sa tanang matang sa tulonggon, manghapa ug manimba sa larawan nga akong gibuhat: apan kong kamo dili mosimba, sa maong takna igatambog kamo sa taliwala sa hudno nga nagadilaab sa kalayo: ug kinsa ba kana nga dios nga makaluwas kaninyo gikan sa akong mga kamot?

¹⁶Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer thee in this matter.

¹⁶Si Sadrach, si Mesach, ug si Abed-nego mingtubag ug ming-ingon sa hari: Oh Nabucodonosor, kami dili kinahanglan nga motubag kanimo niining butanga.

¹⁷If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of thy hand, O king.

¹⁷Kong mao kana, ang among Dios nga among ginaalagaran makahimo sa pagluwas kanamo gikan sa hudno nga nagadilaab sa kalayo; ug siya magaluwas kanamo gikan sa imong kamot, Oh hari.

¹⁸But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

¹⁸Apan kong dili ugaling , angay mo nga hisayran, Oh hari, nga kami dili gayud moalagad sa imong mga dios, ni mosimba kami sa larawan nga bulawan nga imong gipatindog.

¹⁹Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

¹⁹Unya si Nabucodonosor napuno sa mapintas nga kasuko, ug ang dagway sa iyang nawong nausab batok kang Sadrach, kang Mesach, ug kang Abed-nego: busa misulti siya ug nagsugo nga ilang initon ang hudno sa pito ka pilo labaw sa naandan nga kainit.

²⁰And he commanded certain mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, [and] to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

²⁰Ug nagsugo pa siya sa pipila ka mga tawo nga kusganon nga diha sa iyang kasundalohan sa pagpagapus kang Sadrach, kang Mesach, ug kang Abed-nego, ug sa paghulog kanila ngadto sa hudno sa kalayo nga nagadilaab.

²¹Then these men were bound in their hosen, their tunics, and their mantles, and their [other] garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

²¹Nan kining mga tawohana gipanaggapus nga sinul-oban sa ilang mga kalsones, sa ilang mga sinina, sa ilang mga kupo, ug sa uban pa nilang mga bisti, ug gipanaghulog ngadto sa taliwala sa hudno sa kalayo nga nagadilaab.

²²Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

²²Busa tungod sa pagkadinalian sa sugo sa hari, ug ang hudno mainit uyamut, ang siga sa kalayo nakamatay niadtong mga tawo nga nagsakwat kang Sadrach, kang Mesach, ug kang Abed-nego.

²³And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

²³Ug kining totolo ka mga tawo, si Sadrach, si Mesach, ug si Abed-nego nangahulog nga mga ginapus ngadto sa sulod sa hudno sa kalayo nga nagadilaab.

²⁴Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste: he spake and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

²⁴Unya si Nabucodonosor ang hari, nahibulong ug midali sa pagbangon: siya misulti ug miingon sa iyang mga magtatambag: Dili ba totolo ka mga tawo nga ginapus ang atong gipanghulog sa taliwala sa kalayo? Sila mingtubag ug ming-ingon sa hari: Matuod, Oh hari.

²⁵He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the aspect of the fourth is like a son of the gods.

²⁵Siya mitubag ug miingon: Ania karon, nakita ko nga upat na ka tawo nga dili ginapus, nga nanlakaw sa taliwala sa kalayo, ug sila wala maunsa; ug ang dagway sa ikaupat sama sa usa ka anak nga lalake sa mga dios.

²⁶Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace: he spake and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the Most High God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego came forth out of the midst of the fire.

²⁶Unya si Nabucodonosor miduol sa baba sa hudno sa kalayo nga nagadilaab: misulti siya ug miingon: Sadrach, Mesach ug Abed-nego, kamo nga mga alagad sa Halangdon Uyamut nga Dios, gumula kamo ug umari. Unya si Sadrach, si Mesach, ug si Abed-nego nanggula gikan sa kinataliwad-an sa kalayo.

²⁷And the satraps, the deputies, and the governors, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power upon their bodies, nor was the hair of their head singed, neither were their hosen changed, nor had the smell of fire passed on them.

²⁷Ug ang mga kadagkuan, ang mga tinugyanan, ug ang mga gobernador, ug ang mga magtatambag sa hari, nga nanagkatapok didto, nanagpakakita niining mga tawohana, nga ang kalayo walay gahum sa ilang mga lawas, ni masilaub ang buhok sa ilang ulo, ni mausab ang ilang saput, ni mahatapot kanila ang baho sa kalayo.

²⁸Nebuchadnezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

²⁹Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill; because there is no other god that is able to deliver after this sort.

²⁹Busa ako nagabuhat usa ka sugo nga ang tanang katawohan, nasud ug pinulongan nga makasulti sa dautan batok sa Dios ni Sadrach, ni Mesach, ug ni Abed-nego, pagawatas-watason, ug ang ilang mga balay pagahimoon nga tinapok sa kinalibang; tungod kay walay laing dios nga makahimo sa pagluwas sa ingon niining paagiha.

³⁰Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in the province of Babylon.

³⁰Unya si Sadrach, si Mesach ug si Abed-nego gituboy sa hari sa lalawigan sa Babilonia.
