¹And he said unto Moses, Come up unto Jehovah, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off:

¹Ug miingon siya kang Moises: Tumungas ka ngadto kang Jehova, ikaw, ug si Aaron, si Nadab, ug si Abiu, ug ang kapitoan ka mga anciano sa Israel: ug managsimba kamo sukad sa halayo.

²and Moses alone shall come near unto Jehovah; but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.

²Ug si Moises lamang usa ra ang makaduol kang Jehova, apan sila dili makaduol ni managtungas ang katawohan uban kaniya.

³And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah, and all the ordinances: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which Jehovah hath spoken will we do.

³Ug si Moises miabut ug gisugilon niya sa katawohan ang tanan nga mga pulong ni Jehova, ug ang tanang mga tulomanon: ug ang tibook nga katawohan mitubag sa usa ka tingog, ug miingon sila: Pagabuhaton namo ang tanang mga pulong nga giingon ni Jehova.

⁴And Moses wrote all the words of Jehovah, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the mount, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

⁴Ug gisulat ni Moises ang tanan nga mga pulong ni Jehova ug mibangon siya sa sayo sa pagkabuntag, ug nagtukod ug usa ka halaran sa kinaubsan sa bukid, ug napulo ug duha ka haligi nga bato, sumala sa napulo ug duha ka banay sa Israel.

⁵And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt-offerings, and sacrificed peace-offerings of oxen unto Jehovah.

⁵Ug nagsugo siya ug mga batan-ong lalake sa mga anak sa Israel, nga nanaghalad ug mga halad-nga-sinunog ug nanaghalad sila ug mga halad-sa-pakigdait nga mga vaca alang kang Jehova.

⁶And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

⁶Ug gikuha ni Moises ang katunga sa dugo, ug gibutang niya kini sa mga dolang, ug gisablig niya ang katunga sa dugo sa ibabaw sa halaran.

⁷And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that Jehovah hath spoken will we do, and be obedient.

⁷Ug gikuha niya ang basahon sa tugon, ug gibasa niya sa igdulungog sa katawohan, ug sila miingon: Buhaton namo ang tanang mga butang nga giingon ni Jehova, ug magamatinumanon kami.

⁸And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah hath made with you concerning all these words.

⁸Ug gikuha ni Moises ang dugo, ug kini gisablig niya sa ibabaw sa katawohan, ug miingon: Ania karon ang dugo sa tugon, nga gibuhat ni Jehova uban kaninyo mahitungod niining tanan nga mga pulong.

⁹Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.

⁹Ug mingtungas si Moises, ug si Aaron, si Nadab ug si Abiu ug ang kapitoan sa mga anciano sa Israel:

¹⁰And they saw the God of Israel; and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and as it were the very heaven for clearness.

¹⁰Ug nakakita sila sa Dios sa Israel; ug diha sa ubos sa iyang mga tiil ang daw ingon sa usa ka salog nga zafiro, ug daw sama sa langit gayud sa iyang katin-aw.

¹¹And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: and they beheld God, and did eat and drink.

¹¹Ug wala niya pagtuy-ora ang iyang kamot sa ibabaw sa mga pangulo sa mga anak sa Israel; ug nakakita sila sa Dios, ug nanagpangaon sila ug nanagpanginum.

¹²And Jehovah said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee the tables of stone, and the law and the commandment, which I have written, that thou mayest teach them.

¹²Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Tumungas ka ngari kanako sa bukid, ug humulat ka didto, ug igahatag ko kanimo ang mga papan nga bato, ug ang Kasugoan, ug ang tulomanon nga gisulat ko aron tudloan mo sila.

¹³And Moses rose up, and Joshua his minister: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

¹³Ug mitindog si Moises, ug si Josue nga iyang, ministro; ug si Moises mitungas ngadto sa bukid sa Dios.

¹⁴And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: whosoever hath a cause, let him come near unto them.

¹⁴Ug miingon siya sa mga anciano: Hulaton ninyo kami dinhi hangtud nga kami mahabalik kaninyo: ug, ania karon, si Aaron ug si Hur ania uban kaninyo: ang adunay hulosayon, umadto kanila.

¹⁵And Moses went up into the mount, and the cloud covered the mount.

¹⁵Unya si Moises mitungas ngadto sa bukid, ug ang panganod mitabon sa bukid.

¹⁶And the glory of Jehovah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

¹⁶Ug ang himaya ni Jehova napahamutang sa ibabaw sa bukid sa Sinai, ug ang panganod mitabon niini sulod sa unom ka adlaw; ug sa ikapito ka adlaw nagtawag siya kang Moises gikan sa taliwala sa panganod.

¹⁷And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

¹⁷Ug ang panagway sa himaya ni Jehova ingon ug usa ka kalayo nga nagaut-ut sa kinatumyan sa bukid, sa mga mata sa mga anak sa Israel.

¹⁸And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

¹⁸Ug misulod si Moises sa taliwala sa panganod ug mitungas siya ngadto sa bukid: ug didto si Moises sa bukid kap-atan ka adlaw ug kap-atan ka gabii.
