¹And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.

¹Ug sa miagi na ang adlaw nga igpapahulay, si Maria Magdalena, ug si Maria nga inahan ni Jacobo, ug si Salome namalit ug mga pahumot, aron sa ilang pag-adto ilang ikadihog kaniya.

²And very early on the first day of the week, they come to the tomb when the sun was risen.

²Ug sa kaadlawon pa gayud, sa nahaunang adlaw sa semana, miabut sila sa lubnganan, sa nakasubang ang adlaw.

³And they were saying among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the tomb?

³Ug nasig-ingon sila: Kinsa may papaligiron ta sa bato sa ganghaan sa lubnganan?

⁴and looking up, they see that the stone is rolled back: for it was exceeding great.

⁴Apan sa gitan-aw nila, hingkit-an nila nga giligid na ang bato, kay kini hilabihan ka daku.

⁵And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.

⁵Ug sa pagsulod nila sa lubnganan, hingkit-an nila ang usa ka batan-ong lalake, nga nagalingkod sa too, nga nagasul-ob sa usa ka kupo nga hataas ug maputi, ug hingkulbaan sila.

⁶And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him!

⁶Apan siya miingon kanila: Ayaw kamo kahadlok, ginapangita ninyo si Jesus nga Nazaretnon, ang gilansang sa cruz; nabanhaw siya, wala siya dinhi; tan-awa ninyo ang gibutangan kaniya.

⁷But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

⁷Apan panlakaw kamo, sultihi ninyo ang iyang mga tinon-an ug si Pedro, nga siya magauna kaninyo sa Galilea, didto hikit-an ninyo siya ingon sa ginasulti niya kaninyo.

⁸And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them: and they said nothing to any one; for they were afraid.

⁸Ug nanggula sila, ug nangalagiw gikan sa lubnganan, kay miabut kanila ang pagkurog ug kahibulong; ug wala sila magsugilon sa bisan unsa kang bisan kinsa, kay nangahadlok sila.

⁹Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

⁹Karon sa nabanhaw siya sa kaadlawon pa sa nahaunang adlaw sa semana, nagapakita siya pag-una kang Maria Magdalena, ang gipagulaan niya ug pito ka yawa.

¹⁰She went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

¹⁰Milakaw kini siya ug nagpahibalo kanila nga nakauban kang Jesus, sa diha nga nanagsubo ug nanaghilak sila.

¹¹And they, when they heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, disbelieved.

¹¹Ug sa nakadungog sila nga siya buhi ug hingkit-an ni Maria, wala sila managpanoo.

¹²And after these things he was manifested in another form unto two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.

¹²Ug sa tapus kining mga butanga, nagpakita siya sa laing dagway sa duha kanila, sa nagalakaw sila paingon sa kaumahan.

¹³And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.

¹³Ug nanlakat sila ug nagpahibalo niini sa uban: Apan bisan pa niini wala sila managpanoo kanila.

¹⁴And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

¹⁴Ug unya nagpakita siya sa maong napulo ug usa sa nanaglingkod sila sa lamesa; ug iyang gisaway sila sa pagkawala nilay pagtoo ug sa kagahi sa kasingkasing, kay wala sila managpanoo sa mga nakakita kaniya sa tapus siya mabanhaw.

¹⁵And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

¹⁵Ug siya miingon kanila: Lumakaw kamo sa tibook nga kalibutan, ug iwali ninyo ang Maayong Balita sa tanang binuhat.

¹⁶He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

¹⁶Ang motoo ug magpabautismo, mamaluwas; apan ang dili motoo, paga-hukman sa silot.

¹⁷And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;

¹⁷Ug kining mga ilhanan magauban sa mga motoo: sa akong ngalan pagahinginlan nila ang mga yawa; magsulti sila ug mga bag-ong sinultihan.

¹⁸they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

¹⁸Makakupot sila sa mga bitin, ug kong makainum sila sa butang nga makahilo, dili kini makadaut kanila; pandungan nila sa ilang mga kamot ang mga masakiton, ug mangaayo sila.

¹⁹So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

¹⁹Ug unya ang Ginoong Jesus, sa tapus siya mosulti kanila, gibayaw sa langit, ug milingkod sa too sa Dios.

²⁰And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

²⁰Ug sila nanagpanlakaw ug nagwali sa tanang mga dapit, ang Ginoo nagabuhat uban kanila ug nagpamatuod sa pulong pinaagi sa mga ilhanan nga gipauban. Amen.
