¹And there came one of the seven angels that had the seven bowls, and spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters;

¹Ug miabut ang usa sa pito ka mga manolonda, nga may pito ka mga panaksan, ug nakigsulti kanako nga nagaingon: Umari ka, ipakita ko kanimo ang pagkahinukman sa silot sa dakung bigaon, nga nagalingkod sa ibabaw sa daghang mga tubig;

²with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and they that dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication.

²Nga kaniya nagpakighilawas ang mga hari sa yuta, ug ang mga nagapuyo sa yuta, nangahubog sa vino sa iyang pagpakighilawas.

³And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness: and I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

³Ug diha sa Espiritu ako gidala niya ngadto sa kamingawan; ug nakita ko ang usa ka babaye, nga nagakabayo sa usa ka mananap nga mapula nga nalukop sa mga ngalan sa pagpasipala, nga may pito ka mga ulo, ug napulo ka mga sungay.

⁴And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations, even the unclean things of her fornication,

⁴Ug ang babaye nagasul-ob sa purpura ug grana, ug nadayandayanan sa bulawan, ug mga bato nga hamili ug mga maanindot nga mutya, ug may copa nga bulawan sa iyang kamot, nga puno sa mga kangil-ad, ug mga kahugaw sa iyang pagpakighilawas.

⁵and upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

⁵Ug nahasulat sa iyang agtang ang usa ka ngalan: TINAGO, BABILONIA, ANG DAKU, ANG INAHAN SA MGA BIGAON UG SA MGA KANGIL-ARAN SA YUTA.

⁶And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I wondered with a great wonder.

⁶Ug nakita ko ang babaye, nga nahubog sa dugo sa mga balaan, ug sa dugo sa mga sinakit nga mga saksi ni Jesus, ug sa nakita ko siya, nahibulong ako ug daku nga kahibulong.

⁷And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and the ten horns.

⁷Ug ang manolonda nag-ingon kanako: Nganong nahibulong ka? Igaingon ko kanimo ang tinago sa babaye, ug sa mananap nga mapintas, nga nagadala kaniya, nga may pito ka mga ulo, ug napulo ka mga sungay.

⁸The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, [they] whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.

⁸Ang mananap nga mapintas nga nakita mo, mao siya ang kaniadto ug dili ang karon: ug haduol nang mogimaw gikan sa kahiladman nga dili matugkad, ug moadto sa pagkawala. Ug manghibulong ang mga nagapuyo sa yuta, sila nga kansang mga ngalan wala mahasulat sa basahon sa kinabuhi sukad sa pagtukod sa kalibutan, kong ilang makita ang mananap nga mapintas, nga mao kaniadto, ug dili karon, ug moanhi siya.

⁹Here is the mind that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth:

⁹Niini ania ang salabutan nga may kaalam: Ang pito ka mga ulo mao ang pito ka mga bukid, nga gilingkoran sa babaye.

¹⁰and they are seven kings; the five are fallen, the one is, the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a little while.

¹⁰Ug sila mao ang pito ka mga hari. Ang lima nangahulog na, ang usa mao karon, ang usa wala pa moabut; kong moanhi na siya, kinahanglan nga magapadayon siya sa hamubo nga panahon.

¹¹And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goeth into perdition.

¹¹Ug ang mananap nga mapintas, nga mao siya kaniadto, ug dili karon, kana usab mao ang ikawalo, nga ila sa pipito, ug moadto siya sa pagkawala.

¹²And the ten horns that thou sawest are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet; but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.

¹²Ug ang napulo ka mga sungay nga nakita mo, mao ang napulo ka mga hari, nga wala pa makadawat sila ug gingharian; apan nagadawat sila ug pagbulot-an, ingon sa mga hari sa usa ka takna, kauban sa mananap nga mapintas.

¹³These have one mind, and they give their power and authority unto the beast.

¹³Kini sila may usa ka hunahuna, ug igahatag nila ang ilang gahum, ug ang ilang pagbulot-an sa mananap nga mapintas.

¹⁴These shall war against the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they [also shall overcome] that are with him, called and chosen and faithful.

¹⁴Makiggubat kini sila batok sa Cordero, ug pagadaugon sila sa Cordero kay siya mao ang Ginoo sa mga ginoo ug ang Hari sa mga hari; ug ang mga kauban niya mga tinawag, ug mga pinili, ug mga matinumanon.

¹⁵And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

¹⁵Ug nagaingon siya kanako: Ang mga tubig nga hingkit-an mo, nga ginalingkoran sa bigaon mao ang mga katawohan, ug mga panon sa katawohan, ug mga nasud, ug mga sinultihan.

¹⁶And the ten horns which thou sawest, and the beast, these shall hate the harlot, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and shall burn her utterly with fire.

¹⁶Ug ang napulo ka mga sungay, nga imong nakita, ug ang mananap nga mapintas, kini sila magadumot sa bigaon, ug magalaglag ug magahubo kaniya, ug magakaon sa iyang unod, ug magasunog sa pag-ut-ut gayud kaniya uban sa kalayo.

¹⁷For God did put in their hearts to do his mind, and to come to one mind, and to give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

¹⁷Kay gibutang sa Dios sa ilang kasingkasing ang pagbuhat sa iyang kabubut-on, ug ang pag-usa sa usa ka tuyo, ug ang paghatag sa ilang gingharian ngadto sa mananap nga mapintas, hangtud nga matuman ang mga pulong sa Dios.

¹⁸And the woman whom thou sawest is the great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

¹⁸Ug ang babaye nga imong nakita mao ang daku nga ciudad, nga nagahari sa ibabaw sa mga hari sa yuta.
