¹And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven fallen unto the earth: and there was given to him the key of the pit of the abyss.

¹Ug mibudyong ang ikalima ka manolonda, ug nakita ko ang usa ka bitoon nga nahulog sa yuta gikan sa langit. Ug gihatag kaniya ang yawi sa kahiladman nga dili matugkad.

²And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

²Ug giukban niya ang kahiladman. Ug miutbo ang aso gikan sa kahiladman, ingon sa aso sa usa ka dakung hudno; ug mingitngit ang adlaw, ug ang langit tungod sa aso sa kahiladman.

³And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

³Ug nanggula gikan sa aso ang mga dulon sa ibabaw sa yuta. Ug gihatagan sila ug gahum, ingon nga ang mga tanga sa yuta may gahum.

⁴And it was said unto them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only such men as have not the seal of God on their foreheads.

⁴Ug giingon kanila, nga dili nila pagdauton ang balili sa yuta, bisan unsang butanga nga lunhaw, ug bisan unsang kahoya; kondili ang mga tawo lamang nga walay patik sa Dios sa ilang mga agtang.

⁵And it was given them that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it striketh a man.

⁵Ug gisugo sila sa dili pagpatay kanila, kondili nga pagapaantuson nila sa mga lima ka bulan. Ug ang pagpaantus kanila ingon sa pagpaantus sa tanga nga mopaak sa usa ka tawo.

⁶And in those days men shall seek death, and shall in no wise find it; and they shall desire to die, and death fleeth from them.

⁶Ug niadtong mga adlawa pagapangitaon sa mga tawo ang kamatayon, ug kini dili gayud igakita nila; ug mangandoy sila nga mangamatay, apan ang kamatayon mokalagiw kanila.

⁷And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared for war; and upon their heads as it were crowns like unto gold, and their faces were as men's faces.

⁷Ug sa mga panagway ang mga dulon sama sa mga kabayo nga andam alang sa gubat; ug may mga purongpurong nga sama sa bulawan sa ilang mga ulo, ug ang ilang mga nawong ingon sa mga nawong sa mga tawo.

⁸And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as [teeth] of lions.

⁸Ug may mga buhok ingon sa mga buhok sa mga babaye; ug ang ilang mga ngipon, ingon sa mga ngipon sa mga leon.

⁹And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to war.

⁹Ug sila may mga kotamaya ingon sa mga kotamaya nga puthaw; ug ang lagapak sa ilang mga pako, ingon sa kagahub sa mga carro nga may daghang kabayo, nga nanagdalagan ngadto sa panggubatan.

¹⁰And they have tails like unto scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months.

¹⁰Ug may mga ikog sila sama sa mga tanga ug may mga suyod; ug sa ilang mga ikog, anaa ang gahum sa pag-among-among sa mga tawo sulodsa lima ka bulan.

¹¹They have over them as king the angel of the abyss: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek [tongue] he hath the name Apollyon.

¹¹Sa ibabaw nila may usa nga ingon sa hari, ang manolonda sa kahiladman nga dili matugkad, nga ang iyang ngalan sa Hebreohanon, Abadon, ug sa Greciahanon, Apolon.

¹²The first Woe is past: behold, there come yet two Woes hereafter.

¹²Ang nahauna nga Tunglo miagi na; ania karon, moabut pa ang duha ka mga Tunglo! sa human niining mga butanga.

¹³And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God,

¹³Ug mibudyong ang ikaunom ka manolonda; ug nadungog ko ang usa ka tingog sa upat ka mga sungay sa halaran nga bulawan sa atubangan sa Dios,

¹⁴one saying to the sixth angel that had one trumpet, Loose the four angels that are bound at the great river Euphrates.

¹⁴Nga nagaingon sa ikaunom ka manolonda, nga may budyong: Hubari ang upat ka mga manolonda nga ginapus haduol sa dakung suba sa Eufrates.

¹⁵And the four angels were loosed, that had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they should kill the third part of men.

¹⁵Ug gipanghubaran ang upat ka mga manolonda nga naandam sila sa takna ug sa adlaw ug sa bulan ug sa tuig, aron sa pagpamatay sa ikatolo ka bahin sa mga tawo.

¹⁶And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand: I heard the number of them.

¹⁶Ug ang gidaghanon sa mga kasundalohan nga nangabayo, napulo ka libo pil-on sa napulo ka libo sa makaduha. Nadungog ko ang gidaghanon nila.

¹⁷And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates [as] of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone: and the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceedeth fire and smoke and brimstone.

¹⁷Ug niini nakita ko sa panan-awon, ang mga kabayo ug ang mga nangabayo kanila nga may mga kotamaya nga daw kalayo, ug jacinto, ug azufre. Ug ang mga ulo sa mga kabayo ingon sa mga ulo sa mga leon, ug nagapanggula sa baba nila ang kalayo, ug ang aso, ug ang azufre.

¹⁸By these three plagues was the third part of men killed, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone, which proceeded out of their mouths.

¹⁸Ang ikatolo ka bahin sa mga tawo gipatay pinaagi niining totolo ka mga hampak: sa kalayo, ug sa aso, ug sa azufre, nga nagapanggula sa ilang mga baba.

¹⁹For the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails are like unto serpents, and have heads; and with them they hurt.

¹⁹Kay ang gahum sa mga kabayo, anaa sa ilang mga baba, ug sa ilang mga ikog. Kay ang ilang mga ikog sama sa mga bitin, ug may mga ulo, kini maoy giamong-among nila.

²⁰And the rest of mankind, who were not killed with these plagues, repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk:

²⁰Ug ang uban nga mga tawo, nga wala mangamatay niini nga hampak, wala maghinulsol sa mga buhat sa ilang mga kamot, aron dili sila makasimba sa mga yawa, ug sa mga larawan nga bulawan, ug salapi, ug tumbaga, ug bato, ug kahoy, nga dili sila makakita, ni makadungog ni makalakaw;

²¹and they repented not of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

²¹Ug wala nila paghinulsuli ang ilang mga pagpamuno, ni ang ilang mga pag-panglumay, ni ang ilang mga pagpakighilawas, ni ang ilang mga pagpangawat.
