¹Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we faint not:

¹ Am hynny, gan fod y weinidogaeth hon gennym trwy drugaredd Duw, nid ydym yn digalonni.

²but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

² Yr ydym wedi ymwrthod � ffyrdd dirgel a chywilyddus; nid ydym yn arfer cyfrwystra nac yn llurgunio gair Duw. Yn hytrach, trwy ddwyn y gwirionedd i'r amlwg yr ydym yn ein cymeradwyo'n hunain i gydwybod pob un gerbron Duw.

³And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish:

³ Os yw'n hefengyl ni dan orchudd, yn achos y rhai sydd ar lwybr colledigaeth y mae hi felly �

⁴in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn [upon them].

⁴ yr anghredinwyr y dallodd duw'r oes bresennol eu meddyliau, rhag iddynt weld goleuni Efengyl gogoniant Crist, delw Duw.

⁵For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

⁵ Nid ein pregethu ein hunain yr ydym, ond Iesu Grist yn Arglwydd, a ninnau yn weision i chwi er mwyn Iesu.

⁶Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

⁶ Oherwydd y Duw a ddywedodd, "Llewyrched goleuni o'r tywyllwch", a lewyrchodd yn ein calonnau i roi i ni oleuni'r wybodaeth am ogoniant Duw yn wyneb Iesu Grist.

⁷But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;

⁷ Ond y mae'r trysor hwn gennym mewn llestri pridd, i ddangos mai eiddo Duw yw'r gallu tra rhagorol, ac nid eiddom ni.

⁸[we are] pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair;

⁸ Ym mhob peth yr ydym yn cael ein gorthrymu ond nid ein llethu, ein bwrw i ansicrwydd ond nid i anobaith,

⁹pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;

⁹ ein herlid ond nid ein gadael yn amddifad, ein taro i lawr ond nid ein dinistrio.

¹⁰always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.

¹⁰ Yr ydym bob amser yn dwyn gyda ni yn ein corff farwolaeth yr Arglwydd Iesu, er mwyn i fywyd Iesu hefyd gael ei ddwyn i'r amlwg yn ein corff ni.

¹¹For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

¹¹ Oherwydd yr ydym ni, a ninnau'n fyw, yn cael ein traddodi yn wastad i farwolaeth er mwyn Iesu, i fywyd Iesu hefyd gael ei ddwyn i'r amlwg yn ein cnawd marwol ni.

¹²So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

¹² Felly y mae marwolaeth ar waith ynom ni, a bywyd ynoch chwi.

¹³But having the same spirit of faith, according to that which is written, I believed, and therefore did I speak; we also believe, and therefore also we speak;

¹³ Gan fod gennym ni yr un ysbryd crediniol yr ysgrifennir amdano yng ngeiriau'r Ysgrythur, "Credais, ac am hynny y lleferais", yr ydym ninnau hefyd yn credu, ac am hynny yn llefaru,

¹⁴knowing that he that raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also with Jesus, and shall present us with you.

¹⁴ gan wybod y bydd i'r hwn a gyfododd yr Arglwydd Iesu ein cyfodi ninnau hefyd gyda Iesu, a'n gosod ger ei fron gyda chwi.

¹⁵For all things [are] for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound unto the glory of God.

¹⁵ Oherwydd er eich mwyn chwi y mae'r cyfan, fel y bo i ras Duw fynd ar gynnydd ymhlith mwy a mwy o bobl, ac amlhau'r diolch fwyfwy er gogoniant Duw.

¹⁶Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.

¹⁶ Am hynny, nid ydym yn digalonni. Er ein bod yn allanol yn dadfeilio, yn fewnol fe'n hadnewyddir ddydd ar �l dydd.

¹⁷For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;

¹⁷ Oherwydd y baich ysgafn o orthrymder sydd arnom yn awr, darparu y mae, y tu hwnt i bob mesur, bwysau tragwyddol o ogoniant i ni,

¹⁸while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

¹⁸ dim ond inni gadw'n golwg, nid ar y pethau a welir, ond ar y pethau na welir. Dros amser y mae'r pethau a welir, ond y mae'r pethau na welir yn dragwyddol.
